I walked forward while saying, "Most of our riders have been sent to Breeze Canyon to deal with t.i.tan G.o.d. We cannot play the spearhead this time."

Almost 10000 Viper Dragons made a bunch of hissing noises as they surged forward to the enemies. Although the Viper Dragoons lost quite a bit of players earlier, they were relatively well preserved compared to the rest of their troops. It was 10000 Viper Dragoons versus 100000 Behemoths. A grand battle was about to begin!

"Kill them!"

Candlelight Shadow reached the enemy before anyone else and conjured light from his sword, stunning a dozen or so Behemoth Cavalry instantly. He then used Rock Thrust and tossed an entire group of Behemoth Cavalry into the air. He carved into the enemy's ranks like an unstoppable blade and ignored their counterattacks completely.

There was a bone-shuddering impact as the Viper Dragoons and the Behemoths rammed into each other. I saw a Viper biting a Behemoth's face with lightning speed, but the latter quickly retaliated with a fearsome swipe to the head.

Pssh pssh pshh...

Deep, b.l.o.o.d.y gashes immediately appeared on the Viper's head. The Behemoth's rank was higher than the Viper's, and it was clear who was the superior between the two after the exchange.

However, the riders couldn't care less about the power gap right now, and they relentlessly urged their mounts to tear into the enemy. A terrible battle where the sky seemed to darken on its own, and blood spilled across the land like a sea took place, and I dare say it was even more chaotic than the melee on the plains earlier. Everyone was fighting everywhere, and the iron hooves of the mounts were literally causing the earth to quake. The consecutive battles should've worn down everyone, but in reality, the intensity had gone up again and again.

I led the Dragonlight Cavalry to the front and guarded a section of the battleline, forbidding any Behemoths from breaking through us. Behind us, the ranged players attacked with all their might and killed a ton of Behemoths right in front of our main army. The bodies were literally stacking on top of each other.

The Dragonlight Armored Horse's rank was much higher than the Behemoths'. Therefore, we were the superior ones in a direct engagement.

The stalemate didn't last, however. Half an hour later, Candlelight Shadow's cavalry couldn't hold the enemy back any longer!

"Retreat!"

Candlelight Shadow shouted and led around two thousand Viper Dragoons to the edge of the battleline. Their mounts were wounded, and their armors were covered in scars. It was unrealistic to expect them to fight any longer.

"Not good! Candle Dragon withdrew!" October Rain shouted.

It was as she said. The moment the Viper Dragoons fell back, the Behemoth Cavalry immediately charged our camps and dealt heavy damage in just a single exchange.

"Kill them all! Tear all their defenses to pieces, hahaha! We shall sing the victory song of Chariot City atop the walls of Dawn City!" a Heroic Bannerman cheered loudly. He wielded a heavy sword, and he led a troop of Behemoth Cavalry into Warsky Alliance's army, killing everyone he saw. Warsky Alliance had already suffered huge losses earlier, so much so that their troops were missing bits and pieces here and there. There was no way they could resist the enemy.

I gritted my teeth and pointed my sword forward, shouting, "Dragonlight Cavalry, get on your mounts and charge with me! Someone has to fight the enemy!"

Gui Guzi and Heaven's Rain immediately abandoned their rest and got on their horses. After the parties were formed, we charged straight toward the Behemoths. Every Dragonlight Cavalryman was fully buffed by a bard, meaning that our overall stats were 30% higher than the enemies'. Moreover, they were further buffed by our Famous General Skills, and the Dragonlight Armored Horse itself possessed outstanding stats. We were absolutely superior to the Behemoth Cavalry so to speak.

I charged faster than anyone and cut my way into the center of the Behemoth army like a hot knife through b.u.t.ter. Then, I raised my sword and executed Thousand Ice Slas.h.!.+

The skill damage and splash damage deleted much of the enemy's HP. Worse, many players were immobilized at the feet. Before they could break free from their icy prison, I followed up with Burning Blade Slash that deleted the remaining 65% of their HP. I was glad to know that my Thousand Ice Slash + Burning Blade Slash combo was just enough to instakill these elite cavalrymen.

Behind me, Chaos Moon, Gui Guzi, He Yi, High Fighting Spirits and everyone else were also charging the enemy as well. Through sheer brute force, we were able to stop the enemy from crus.h.i.+ng Warsky Alliance outright and buy the latter some time to reorganize and renew their a.s.sault on the Behemoths.

Crack! Crack!

The blade of the Cyan Netherworld Sword chipped ominously. We had fought for such a long time that even the Heaven-grade weapon's durability had dropped to 37%. I could tell that it wouldn't last much longer. In fact, the item's stats dropped drastically when its durability dropped below 10%.

At least her soul had returned to Sky City. Her death seemed to signal the beginning of the end of the Dragonlight Cavalry as many more of our riders died after her. But of course, the Dragonlight Cavalry killed at least 10 enemies for every member they lost!

"Charge to the right and follow me!"

I turned a corner and charged straight to the heart of the Behemoth Army. A burst of light exploded from the Cyan Netherworld Sword, and I immediately cleared out an area with Cyan Netherworld Divine Dragon. Beside me, my apparition timed Burning Blade Slash and cleared out a path for the Dragonlight Cavalry as well. The Phantom Wolf King was fighting directly ahead of me, triggering many Claws of the Storm and even activating Purgatory Storm between attacks. The damage caused many Behemoth Cavalrymen to scream in pain and death.

I also tossed my Icy Cyclone Domains at a group of enemies, freezing their a.s.ses and puncturing their legs with icicles that kept growing from the ground. Right now, there was nothing I enjoyed more than making life h.e.l.l for the enemies around me.

It was at this moment I saw movement in front of me. A blood-red banner emerged carried by a German uncle with a savage-looking face appeared into view, and it was none other than the commander of the Behemoth Cavalry—

As a Heroic Bannerman and the guild leader of Prophecy, I understood completely why uncle Soothsayer didn't enjoy the situation he was put in. Speaking of which, he had a special cla.s.s called Molten Knight. He must be pretty tanky, right?

We charged toward each other while harboring the same objective in our minds. Uncle Soothsayer was a Heroic Bannerman, so it was only natural that he had great skill. Even before he got close to us, he pulled at his reins and made his horse run in a zigzagging pattern. It was so that he could catch me off-guard and attack me from the side. That wasn't all. Three Behemoth riders were charging me from the front, and their blades were all shrouded by flames. Are they trying to kill me with Barrier Breaks?

I let out a chuckle before I rose to my feet on top of the Armored Ice Qilin Horse and planted one foot on the back of Gui Guzi's mount. Then, I said, "Little Gui, let me borrow your horse for a bit!"

I jumped into the air, the force so great that Gui Guzi stumbled backward a bit. I used the momentum to tap a Behemoth Cavalryman's throat with my sword before running past him in a beautiful S pattern. Not done yet, I performed another S-shape maneuver to complete the helix maneuver!

The essence of the helix maneuver was to keep the enemy guessing my position, and the end point of the maneuver was also the flash point. In this case, my end point was uncle Soothsayer!

"天！"

"G.o.ds!"

Soothsayer's pupils shrank as I dashed toward him. He immediately threw Light Flame Slash at me.

But that was all he could do, because Chaos Moon's Rock Crush, He Yi's Purgatory of Ice and Magma and Gui Guzi's Aurora Thrust hit his chest at the same time. The biggest difference between me and him wasn't our skill, but the quality of our men. His soldiers were only normal experts, but mine were all first-rate experts!
