The Qingxiao Pavilion was located in the middle of the Great Lake . It was a majestic piece of architecture, and the spiritual power here was the most abundant . Gu Xijiu could easily restore her spiritual power here .

Di Fuyi had also taken the time to visit her, but she was still angry at this naughty kid, so she had not given him a lot of attention . When she talked to him, she was always cold .

Di Fuyi did not seem to care much . He always stayed at her place for about 15 minutes before he left . However, eventually, he cut down his visits from three to four times a day, to once every two days . Later, it became once every three days .  

On one particular day, after Gu Xijiu finished meditating, she opened her eyes and listened to the pitter-patter sound of rain outside . She then got up and walked to the window . She opened the window and watched until the rain subsided . The fairy scented gra.s.s under the window was swaying in the rain, and the air was full of fresh fragrance . It was beautiful .

Randomly, she had the mood to take a stroll, so she propped up an umbrella and walked out . Gu Xijiu walked along the corridor to avoid getting wet .  The drizzle hit the lake and splashed its surface, while the fish in the lake jumped out of the water from time to time .  

Gu Xijiu looked up at the clear sky . She leaned against the railings and looked into the distance . She saw the vast expanse of mist and was simply amazed . It had been some time since she could freely observe and appreciate her surroundings .  It would be perfect if there were a pair of lovers who leaned against each other in this weather .

All of a sudden, Gu Xijiu's vision became blurry as she saw another illusion before her eyes; it had been a while since her last experience .  As usual, there were a man and a woman; the background was a small pavilion . The woman stood leaning against the railing, and the man leaned on her side . One of his arms was cuddling her, and she also leaned her head on his shoulder as if they were a pair of lovebirds who enjoyed watching the scenery .

She could hear the conversation between the two of them .

"Celestial Master Zuo, have you thought about having kids?"

"Do you want to have kids?"

"Yes, I want it! I want a baby boy, as handsome as you are! What about you? Would you prefer a baby boy or a baby girl?"

"I like them both as long as they are from you . "

"We will have them! I will use your kids to keep you so that you can't bear to leave!"

"Stupid! I think the best person to keep me is you, not our kids…"

"Then I'll have double insurance . When you have kids and me, you certainly could not bear to leave us! You have to try to survive, or else I might cry until I die!"

"Alright, I will try very hard…"

"Xijiu, even if I leave, I will try to come back . Please wait for me . . . "

The man in the mirage kissed his wife at his side, and the two of them hugged each other tightly . Gu Xijiu stood on the curved corridor and looked at the scene like a mirage in the distance . Even though it was a lovely scene, Gu Xijiu's heart ached again .  

She looked at the man in the mirage . Although she could not see his face, the purple robe reflected in her eyes and stung her heart .

"Celestial Master Zuo!" She whispered and extended her hand in that direction .

However, a gust of wind came, and the illusion disappeared . The umbrella that Gu Xijiu held in her hand flew with the wind . Gu Xijiu could only watch as the umbrella that fell into the lake swiftly drifted away . She snorted in disappointment .

This umbrella was a tool she brought up from the Lower Bound . She saw in the illusion that Celestial Master Zuo had shared an umbrella with her . The umbrella seemed to be this particular one, so she valued this umbrella very much .

When she saw it drop into the lake, she wanted to teleport there to take it . But suddenly, a hand patted on her shoulder . "Let me do it . "

A purple figure flew out from her side . Her heart jumped! It was Di Fuyi again!
