"Sorry that my place isn't warm enough for you, I like sticking to my traditional culture. The fire in the chimney should keep you warm for now. I will get your room ready ....wait here."

He said in a low husky voice making her wonder in delight of his gentle soul.

Lord Vicar walked away from her as she sat close to the fireplace rubbing her hands together to keep her hands warm from the cold manner that lingered.  She looked down seeing the ring that Charles have given her ; it sparkled & s.h.i.+mmered in the light of fire.

"Nicole your room is ready sorry for  the wait. I was having a little argument with Percy's a.s.sistant sir eur or whatever that mans name is. He makes me sick for reason's I don't need to explain , excuse me sorry for my temper. I have hard a time trying to control my humanity not acting like a savage." lord Vicar eyes were gentle but his facial features said something complete different giving off a angry tone in his voice.

Nicole smiled as she gets up from the floor following lord Vicar to her room. The castle was getting colder as they headed to the top floor of the castle. She s.h.i.+vered trying not show him that she was cold, sadly that was a fail. He stopped taking off his jacket placing it on his shoulder as she thanked him.

"Why is it so cold in your home Lord Vicar?"

"Well....It's actually the temperature I prefer to be in but I'll change it once you get in your room and make yourself comfortable. "

She noticed light bags under his eyes as she see's him stagger walking her to her room.

"Lord Vicar are you-"

He stopped, turning around placing his index finger on her lips. She was very much startled by his sudden action. Why did he suddenly shush her.

" I have insomnia so there are days when I can't sleep. I'm trapped by the darkness that consumes my body. Don't worry I'll make sure to keep that beast that lingers in me under control. You saw it once before I nearly killed you dear but Charles stopped in me time. Don't worry about me please...just yourself..."

Lord Vicar looked down as he grabbed the key from out his pocket. Placing the key in the keyhole opening unlocking the door. He allowed Nicole to go inside seeing the simple elegant room that was made just for her,  thought she doubts that she will be staying here for a long time. Lord Vicar closed the door as she sat down on the bed. Nicole grabbed her phone from her breast pocket in her jacket. She wanted to call Charles but she didn't want to them to get caught off guard. Suddenly her phone ring as she looked at the cell number to see a unknown call more so of a private number. Nicole answered the phone hesitantly.

"h.e.l.lo? May I ask who's calling"

"Charles...my dear..."

"Charles!! I'm hoping your okay...you sound off..."

"I'm in my true form at the moment...I wanted to make sure that your safe...yes I know I sound off.. This is just what I normally sound like. I wanted to let you know something about Vicar..."

"What's that?"

"Remember this...lock your door at night. Even if he desperately wants you for something say no. Don't even say anything,  I'm trying to help you out love. Vicar is nice person but when he has trouble sleeping he goes crazy."

"Wait so your telling me that Lord Vicar can go on a murderous rampage because of lost of sleep?"

"Silly girl....I must say your correct, he's been trying to get sleep for years now. I want to let you know what I am feeling right now so please listen it's rather short. I wish I could be with you...To hold you and touch you. Dear lord the distance from you is unbearable...I love you so much darling, I love you with all in me. I must go till tomorrow..."

She hangs up the phone as she hears a knock on the door.

"Oh come in please!"

Lord Vicar came in with a silk golden night gown for her to wear.

" I guess you can say this a present to you. I hope you enjoy your stay here for sometime miss Nicole. I know Charles told you about my habit.....killing people is somewhat of a addiction to me like a drug I can't get off of ; I have my reasons I don't kill people sensesly. Its more so of a curse that's been placed on my family by witches. Anyways I'll let you rest...so I wish you a good night. " Lord Vicar puts her night gown on her night stand as he slowly walks out the door.

Lord Vicar closed the door behind him as Lord Percy waited for him to get Nicole settled for bed.

"So you put the human to sleep how amusing.." Percy hissed.

"This human is different then the others you should know that. Anyways what are you doing here? I have things to do."

"So things mean such as kill people and feel guilty about it....seems about right. I can't upset the great Lord of the Cloud Kingdom...."

"I believe you are mistaken Lord Percy I simply was going to do my nightly walk through the town. You don't know anything about me or my sickness...so leave my Castle ;  how did even get in here you wasn't even invited you pest...."

Lord vicar pulls out a swords from a wall as Lord Percy held up his hands in surrender.

"Oh Lord Vicar don't be like that...I mean no harm. I simply need to discuss something to you about the werewolves...They are trying to start a war with vampires an humans. Just like the old days."

"How is that possible, we signed agreement and that was that. They don't cross our path an we on cross their's.."

"Its because Nicole...they'll use her as a sacrifice for their clan. Remember the day when Lori died she was put up for a sacrifice. Sadly Nicole will go through the same thing as Lori. They are Native Americans after all."

"Better yet Rouges.... Of course.."

Its been two thousands years since they came across the werewolves. The Lords of the Kingdom held a meeting right away to figure out a way to convince the Rouges about Sacrificing her. Werewolves without packs are consider rouge. Nicole secretly followed lord Vicar & lord Percy about their little conversation that turned into a little ordeal which made her quite frighten. People always wanted to hurt her for that she didn't know why. She overheard The Lords of the kingdom discussing the matter as Nicole hears her name making her the center of the discussion.

"Nicole's family is the most powerful hunters alive today. She don't know about her family but maybe they can help us out if the war if that ever comes down to it. However they'll kill every last one of us in the process even the werewolves. They want us extinct from the world, we just gotta convince them that we aren't bad people..."

Nicole eyes grew wide, this was all very brand new to her. So her family are hunters that hunt mystical creatures such as vampires & werewolves. Suddenly the door opened as she looked to see Percy giving her a cold look as he excused himself from the meeting as he forcefully grabbed her wrist slamming her against the wall.

"What are...you doing out of your bed child...are you that curious to know about your family history. Yes people are trying to kill you but were going to try our best to prevent that. Your rather important at the moment...."

Percy lets go of her wrist hiding his blush from her as she rubs her head. Lord Vicar walked out the room as he sees Nicole an Percy as he walk up to them.

"Nicole may you go back to your room its not a good time to be out..."

"I'll take her to her room Vicar....you just head back inside..."

" If you lay a finger on her again I shall rip out your heart...goodnight you two..."

Lord Vicar slowly walked away as Percy grabbed Nicole's hand forcefully pulling her back to her room unleas.h.i.+ng h.e.l.l.
