"To the G.o.ds I pray that you give me this power to stop these creatures from creating destruction." Charles spoke as his sword became a scythe as his hair was no longer black but white pure as snow. Wings roused from his back, leaving him nothing but his red b.l.o.o.d.y eyes that gave the wolves fear in their sight to see such a power being in their presence.

"Now...you shall die in my hands and mine alone." Charles gave a devilish smile are he ran towards the werewolves that ran away from him. Don't worry Prince Charles always have a way to catch up to them.

Meanwhile Lori fell asleep on the wooden couch as Jasper watched over her to make sure she was safe along with the other vampires that accompanied Prince Charles. The vampires in the cabin didn't like humans as they forsaken there kindness upon them. Jasper puts his jacket over Lori's body as she smiled feeling his warm jacket over her.

"Sir Jasper, what is that human doing in the cabin. Oh I a.s.sume she is a snack isn't she?" Jasper gave a cold stare to the man that spoke so rudely about their guest.

"Well Adam, she is guest after all I mean the child was alone in forest what do u expect us to do leave her there? I a.s.sure you she is no meal, she would have been dead by either mine or Prince Charles hands but we aren't savages are we?" Jasper spoke as he pets Lori's head as she slept.

"No we aren't Sir"

Charles suddenly came in the cabin, he was covered in blood was up an down his body. Jasper got up from his chair as he walks up Charles with a handkerchief in his hands.

"Please clean yourself up Charles, your comrades can surely well smell the wolves blood especially Lori's." Jasper wiped Charles face as Lori slowly waking up seeing Charles covered in blood frighten her. He was no longer the prince in s.h.i.+ning armor but something u see in a horror film. Charles glanced over at Lori with a devilish smile his face, Jasper looked over to her as well with a smile making her feel safe in his presence unlike Charles. Jasper was a warm peaceful person despite what the humans did to him as a Vampire he still cared for them.

"Lori did we bother your slumber, you can go back to sleep nothing bad is going to happen to you as long as me an Charles are here." Lori nodded as she laid back on the sofa closing her eyes.

Lori thought of Charles as a monster filled anger, she felt comfortable around Jasper. That was her true prince she looked up to. Charles didn't mean to frighten the poor girl but justice was served it those who killed her parents, he can't imagine what it feels like to alone with no family members.

The sun invaded the moon as the sun peeked from the hill. The sun was a mixture between purple and yellowish color which couldn't be explained. Lori awaken from her slumber as the sun rays. .h.i.t her face. Jasper had bags under his eyes due to lost of sleep protecting Lori from the other vampires as Charles did the same.

"Good morning lady Lori, I see you enjoy your sleep. Breakfast will be ready for you soon I shall make it for you." Jasper slowly gets up from his chair as he walks into the kitchen yawning. Charles stared at her with no expression in his tiresome face. Lori immediately looked away feeling his eyes pierce through her soul. She felt frighten by Charles action's, she didn't know if his heart was pure or not maybe she would have to teach him a thing or two. Charles smiled at Lori's determined thought's.

"Tell me Lori...do you think all vampires are bad. I mean vampires in this century are kind among others. The difference with us is that were pure bloods we are able to control our hungry. The vampires that can't struggle with hunger you see Jasper us half of my kind but he doesn't know that. As you know we are  just special vampires. I want to make sure that you are safe at all time so I reckon that you stay at my palace once I finish this business with my fellow companions. "

Charles spoke in a low husky voice, Lori wondered what he had to do for business that falls along with the woods. Is it because the wolves are taking over most of the forest and claiming parts to lilth kingdoms woods yet. They could be plotting something that we don't know yet maybe to kill the vampires an live a happy life.

"Hmm no I don't think vampires are bad, I mean I thank you for such kindness you are a good vampire I can rely on also Jasper. May I ask where my parents is Sir Charles! " Lori stood up and bowed at Charles . Charles grabbed her chin with his index finger looking into her eyes.

"You do not have to bow, I a.s.sure you that your parents are safe. For now you will stay with me, only because your parents are away at the moment. You will understand when you older." Charles smiled at her as she blushed deeply. Jasper came in with a plate of grits with cheese and toast on the side handing her the nicely done plate.

"For you miss Lori, I hope you enjoy your breakfast. We shall leave this cabin today so I can return back to my regular duties. Prince Charles you shall discuss the events that happened yesterday at dawn. Am I clear?"

Jasper said as his eyes began to turn red only to make Charles glare at him with a nod. Charles couldn't tell the poor the girl that her parents had died it would traumatize her so he thinks its best to keep it a secret to her when the time comes. Jasper couldn't say a word to her about her parents nor any where abouts to where her parents might be. Time will tell when the girl realizes where her parents ended up at. For now Charles an Jasper is going to have to keep the Lori safe from now on.

It will cause someones life someone whom is very important to Charles. Will anyone be safe?
