71 Chapter 71: Grandmother Wanted To Meet Me

He winced in frustration and reluctance afraid to go overboard from his pleasure seeking as he decidedly watched over Laurice who was still kneeling on her knees down below him while wearing a completely bewildered look on her still flushed face. Her hazy and moist eyes were bulging in obvious astonishment as she witnessed his long and hard shaft twitching rather incessantly. Sid grinned at her expression but did not act coy or shy away and was surprisisingly not at all uneasy even when being stared at in such a blatant way. It seems his arousal was still apparent that the woman could not believe her eyes. Laurice's mouth fell open unknowingly as Sid let out a helpless chuckle that did not reach the woman's ears. She was undoubtedly caught on her own bubble. Laurice appear rather inviting in Sid's eyes, with her innocence apparently showing which was fueling the fire within him. His face twitched as a glint flashed past his cognac eyes.

...

Failing to notice Sid's intense gaze turning hot and predatory, Laurice felt her throat drying as she ogled the man's masculinity. It was proud and alive resembling that of an adonis. Amidst her audacious behavior however, a man was nearing his limits.

Laurice gasped sharply when a pair of large hands cupped and spooned her swiftly and her body was soon lifted up the floor as she was forced to sit in between the man's lap. Her eyes fluttered along her heart as she caught a short glimpse of the man's face before he hurriedly kiss her full on the lip.

Hummpph.

Laurice drew a sudden inward breath when Sid took her lips in an immediate rough kiss almost biting and suckling and then slowly, almost as if deliberately changing his pace, he nibbled while moistening her tempting lips. Sid's kisses turned even gentler the next few seconds. It was so sweet and unbelievably intoxicating muddling Laurice's head all the more. The man was no doubt a great kisser and was now apparently teasing her as his ragged breathing fanned against her own lips as if sucking the life out of her. Laurice did not hold back and kissed him back in equal fervor.

Mmmmm.

A moan escaped her mouth as she try to catch her breath. Laurice was shattering in delight but was missing the feel of Sid's fingers whenever he kissed her. She wantonly leaned her craved body closer against him wrapping her arms across his neck as her own fingers impatiently run down his skin tracing and drawing circles while fiddling the man's chest.

Sid groaned beneath her heated palm. Panting, his mouth left the woman's lips as he trailed kisses across her beautiful face and then rested his head alongside her fair and smooth neck. Sid's heart was beating erratically against his chest as his breathing turned uneven.

He was stunned with a realization. The woman was learning way too fast it was frightening. He found out just now how pa.s.sionate Laurice could be and it almost drove him mad. Her kisses were hot and fiery in contrast with her light and featherly touches leaving off a tingling sensation that was foreign to him and with her alluring scent, Sid fear he might completely lose all rationality and devour her whole without reservation. But if he rather opt to satiate his desire now, there was no walking out of his door. For a week atleast or for G.o.d knows how long.

...

Moments pa.s.sed while they stayed in the same position unmoving as the jittery feelings slowly faded between the both of them but did not vanish entirely. Laurice was awakened from her distracted thoughts by the sound of the man's deep familiar voice.

"Your mother called for you, didn't she?" Sid stated sounding so sure as if he wasn't asking at all. However his voice was low and coa.r.s.e as if he was restraining himself. And Laurice was not dumb so as to not realize why he was behaving rather strangely. She was no different from him.

Without waiting for her to reply Sid added, "Are you meeting with her?" He cautiously asked probing further as if her own matters were equally important to him.

Sid lifted his head up and was met with the pair of the most beautiful eyes he have ever seen and he knew for a fact that he wasn't just exaggerating. Her iris was pitch black but so clear and expressive one could amost see through her soul from just gazing straight to her eyes. But true enough, with Laurice, there's more than what meets the physical eye. He knew she was a woman with depth and he had long decided to discover more about her.

...

With creased brows, Laurice returned the man's probing gaze but did not questioned him. She was not someone who speaks about her matters uncaringly but Sid was no stranger and he appears to be genuinely concerned about her, so she decided not to hide anything from him and told him her circ.u.mstances, exluding the details about her father and the reason behind the remorse she held against her own mother. She felt there was no need to elaborate any further.

Laurice heaved a sigh before responding, retrieving her hands to her side to rest. She dared not touch the man again or h*ll will break lose.

"It seems my grandmother wanted to meet me." Laurice added before she let out a scornful laugh. She did not looked pleased at all but there was an undeniable twinge of fear reflected in her eyes.

Sid wanted to ask why and what else she was feeling besides the animosity in her words towards her own family member but kept his curiousity to himself as he did not want to rush her since listening to her finally opening up to him was enough to make feel grateful. For now, he surmissed. Sid said rather considerately, "Do you want me to send you over?"

The meeting was already set tonight and with Laurice agreeing or not, he thought of going together with her. But the woman rejected her without second thoughts.

Laurice spoke gently with her expressions gradually softening against the man's gaze as she refused firmly and unhesitatingly, she said, "No need, Sid. I can manage."

She was about to say some more when Sid interrupted her words and said with every bit of emotion he held for her, "I'm worried. Atleast give me a call and let me send you back afterwards, alright?" His eyes fixed on her. Sid planned on keeping her company himself.

"You're not staying there for too long, are you?" Sid asked. His eyes squinted as if he was antic.i.p.ating a favorable response from her.

Laurice halted midsentence processing the question given, tilting her head to the side.

Stay? Why would she? She would not even dare step foot on that place given the choice if not for a particular someone's 'request'. And she would soon be meeting her after a few years apart.

Huh! Her face sunk.

Laurice turned sullen in an instant. She can still vividly remember her own mother leaving her coldly back then without parting words. She left without even looking back. She did not return to see her, not even once. Since then, there was no news from her except for that one revelation that made her pursue business. Laurice called several times but her mother was always out of reach. During the most crucial times, she receiced nothing. Not one phone call. Not one letter.

Laurice thought she had gotten used to all of it that it does not have any effect on her whatsoever but her body knew better. Her eyes glistened in unshed tears failing to conceal the agony she buried deep inside.
