55 What Are They For?

As planned, they set off in the direction of the Cities of Prinas and Sester a few hours later. Since Blaze had advanced to Rank-2 as a Fighter, they could lessen the delays between the travel.

It took them a day to reach the outskirts of Prinas City!

The distance between Azmar City to here was quite long, but they only rested twice during the entire journey.

Just as they stepped on the streets, all three of them noticed the unusual atmosphere. People were lively as usual, but something was amiss.

They felt Mana signatures all around them. Many of the usual looking citizens were not so ordinary.

"This is what Oliver meant by unfamiliar faces..."- Raven muttered.

Ozul nodded his head, but he did not bother to stop each one of these people to interrogate them. Most of them would only be the hired people to cause this confusion!

"Hurry up... These people are none of our concern."- Ozul urged Raven and Blaze, who were probing all these people.

They asked a random shop keeper the direction for the City Lord's Manor. It was around midday when they arrived at the estate.

Of course, they could not casually enter from the front gates as they did with Count Oliver.

The Count here was an old man who was known to be a l.u.s.tful pervert. Even commoners disdained him.

The Count was also a Rank-6 Mage, but he did not even have a single Rank-5 Mage under him! No one wanted to work under human trash such as him.

The Counts' estates are usually stretched widely to a couple of thousand meters. And if they did not have the ability, they couldn't secure their property. Such was a case with this estate.

The guards were scarcely scattered inside the estate as the Count never bothered to secure his parameters.

The higher-ups had not changed his position only because there was nothing of importance in this City. So they did not trouble themselves to pay any attention to this matter.

After nearing the estate, Ozul was disappointed as he could not perceive any type of unusual activity within.

However, he did not give up and decided to enter the estate to search thoroughly.

Even though it was midday, due to the negligence of guards and their lax att.i.tude, it was not so difficult for the trio to infiltrate the property.

They ran into a couple of guards when they entered the building, but they were all quickly dealt with by Blaze. He did not kill them because it could cause problems later on.

They even came across the room from where the m.u.f.fled sounds of panting were heard. But the trio ignored it and continued their search.

It took them half an hour only to end up with nothing. Ozul was also unhappy with the situation as it meant that they would have to travel again to the next City!

He did not like running continuously while the sunlight irritated him to no end!

However, finding the location of Eclipse's Order as soon as possible was Ozul's priority, so he could not delay any longer.

Without further ado, they set off in the direction of Sester City. Fortunately for them, it wasn't far from this City.

Running in that direction, Blaze curiously asked;

"What if we couldn't find them in the next location as well?"-

"Then you guys will have to search two whole Cities..."- Ozul said while shrugging.

Raven showed a wry smile as she understood that Ozul would not run around both the Cities to search. It would only be Blaze and herself.

Ozul had enough of running all around the Kingdom! What are Raven and Blaze for if he still has to do the labor all the time?

Both Raven and Blaze started praying that Ozul's guess is correct, so they wouldn't have to search around hundreds of kilometers!

. . .

Half a day later, the Sun was setting as Ozul saw the outline of the City.

Ozul did not need to, but Raven and Blaze were exhausted, so they decided to take a rest before exploring the City Lord's estate.

The situation in this City wasn't any different from Prinas City. It looked like the Eclipse's Order did an excellent job in hiding.

The City Lord, this time, was a greedy b.a.s.t.a.r.d. He would even sell his family if he received a good profit!

This guy, even though a Rank-6 Mage, was also not loved by the commoners.

The night fell as the trio moved towards the City Lord's manor. Ozul had decided to delay a little more, so if any situation arose, he would have an advantage in the dark.

When they arrived near the manor, Ozul tried to sense anything unusual, but he couldn't as there were enchantments on the walls.

Most n.o.bles had such enchantments done around their properties, and even Count Oliver had that. The previous City Lord was an exception as he only cared about women!

This type of enchantment would not allow other people to probe inside that area using Mana. They could only enter the estate to sense the area inside.

However, this type of enchantment would make it hard for anyone to infiltrate as they wouldn't know where the guards are not present beyond the wall.

However, Ozul had another way to sense his surroundings. And that was by the use of emptiness!

How could he know about his surroundings based on emptiness? Well, Ozul considers everything aside from the pure void to be impure.

So, he just has to spread his consciousness, and he will automatically feel where he is the most disgusted from! And that area would probably have a life form!

Although unique, this method would always work as he had an innate hatred towards everything except for the absolute void.

If it weren't comfortable when his parts were intact, he would have also been disgusted by himself!

He just needed to get near the wall and close his eyes to sense anything which may be moving and feels disgusting.

The estate only had one entrance—the front gate. So Ozul and the duo went behind the property to infiltrate through the back wall.

Since they could not sense anything using their Mana, Ozul approached the wall and closed his eyes.

He was expecting a couple of guards moving about, doing their duty. However, what he noticed on the other side of the wall surprised him a little!
