66 The Flat Earth Part 3

The Old man had shown them the dining hall and had gone to the kitchen to give the vegetables. He perhaps wanted to find out how long it would be for Lunch. He came back and told the students that lunch was being cooked. As there was an hour for Lunch to be served he showed them their dormitories.

Their dorms were to the left. The first door was for the boy's dorm where 6 beds were made ready for them. The adjacent door led to the girl's dorm where 5 beds were made ready for the girls.

The Orbs were asked to figure out how they would guard the girl's dorm from within as...o...b.. of female gender were allowed into the girl's dorm. The males were to guard outside both the dorms.

The Orbs did not mind it, they knew it was difficult for people to figure out their gender. They divided among themselves and made two rows. The bigger row was of male Orbs and the smaller one was of female Orbs.

They all admired their respective dorms. Surprisingly, a change of clothes had been kept for all of them along with accessories. Night clothes were also placed on the beds.

The Old man informed that there were washrooms with running water and liquid soap, shampoo, toothpaste, cream, etc. which they could use.

"Anything you want to ask?" the old man inquired.

"Yes, we had asked earlier when you were sitting outside, but we got no reply," responded Ben.

"You can ask again and I will answer, but please ask one by one. If you ask all together, then I will not be able to answer."

"OK, Sir," they all nodded their heads.

"We had asked if we could walk to the mountain to see the control room and the machinery there, especially when it is in operation during the landing of a s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p?" Zen inquired.

"Yes, of course, you can go to see the control room and the machinery there. When someone goes for the repair work, I will ask them to take you along."

"We would like to see the landing areas of the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps," Zoya added with a gleam in his eyes.

"Ok, Let me see when we can organize this visit for you to see the landing area of the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps."

"You cannot be the only person in this Magical World? We would like to meet other people here," Tina added. "We not only wanted to see and meet other people on the Magical World but also interact with them to know their lives and how the satellite works, etc."

"No, I am not the only human being living here. You will meet the rest of you shortly. Actually, they are all at their homes or at work." The old man replied with a laugh.

"You landed up early in the morning on this Magical World when you walked in through the portal and that area is spa.r.s.ely populated as very few people reside there now."

"Their houses are like your resting area, covered with gra.s.s, so you might not have seen anyone." the old man replied. Furthermore, you and prior to you the Orbs have been the only visitors from Earth after 3000 years."

"We have come for the crystals," Sherpa said and added further looking a bit grim, "As soon as we get them we need to head back so that from there we can go further to our own city."

"Yes, I understand what your directive is, but the children need to satisfy their curiosity." said the Old man.

"They might not get a chance to visit here again and such things they are unlikely to see in their world. Even if it is available, they may not be eligible to see them or visit them."

Besides, Aliens coming or going is a hidden fact in your world, as a matter of fact, all the governments want to hide this from their citizens to avoid panic."

"Furthermore, Aliens have been coming and going all over the universe since the beginning of Earth."

"Just one last question?"Zoya asked with a troubled mind.

"Yes, go ahead, I am ready to answer," responded Aarvin.

"I just wanted to know where this flat satellite that you call the Magical World is situated?" she added.

"I thought you had already realized where it would have been placed, hidden from the prying eyes of your world till people understood what can be done in s.p.a.ce advancement," Aarvin replied with a grin.

"Ok, since you have not guessed then I will tell you. The Magical World is situated on the other side of the moon, you call it the dark side."

"As you know only the light side of the moon faces the earth, the other side is in complete darkness and has the possibility of the presence of water and many minerals."

"Many rockets of many countries have pa.s.sed by circulating the moon. An eastern country even landed on the dark side of the moon a few years ago. But none of them could see our Magical World." Aarvin was smiling while replying and had a mysterious look in his eyes.

"The Magical World is invisible due to a s.h.i.+eld that reflects the stars etc to the observer and that is the secret. To see it a lot of development in technology needs to be done to get to the advanced stage to see through the s.h.i.+eld."

After all the flat satellite is our home and we need to protect it form everyone," he added.

The Old man looked at Sherpa with a twinkle in his eyes and said, "Is it not said that when you are a guest, you can arrive at any time but you can only leave when your host lets you leave."

"Let the children have an adventure of a lifetime then you can go back."

"Yes, Sherpa Uncle, let us see something about how this satellite functions. We are not likely to meet with such an opportunity in the future once we get back," said Danny and Sunny.

"Are all of you agreeing to what Danny and Sunny are saying?" asked Sherpa.

All the other kids nodded in agreement.

"It is daytime and after Lunch, we can request some of the Orbs to locate the crystals," said Zoya.

"Do we have your permission to ask the Orbs to search for the appropriate crystals of the right size and shape?" the children asked in one voice.

"If you ask so nicely, how can I refuse." responded the Old man.

But the Orbs should know that they cannot touch the crystals without their permission. The permission can be verbal or telepathically."

The Orbs had heard and understood. They all hummed in agreement that they had understood what the old man had said. They would naturally move after all the children and Sherpa had had their lunch.

The Old man then decided to leave them so that they could take a bath, change into a new set of clothes.

"You may take a bath, wash these clothes. Please be quick about it. I will come to call you in an hour." Said the old man.

"By the way, my name is Aarvin, you can call me so if you want."

"Thank you Aarvin Sir," said all the children. "We will be ready."
