An elegant black haired girl stepped out of the limousine. This breathtaking beauty was I, Maria Lily Burnsworth. Despite wearing the same uniform as with the other students, I seemed to stand out like a G.o.ddess among mortals.

However, I could hear the sighs of admiration slowly turn into whispers of jealousy and contempt. As I walked towards the school building, a group of three girls were audacious enough to block my path.

"You better don't get too c.o.c.ky, you spoiled princess!" One of the girls scowled.

"Sir Louis will make you do a public apology, you better prepare to be humiliated." The other girl

sneered while the third girl smirked.

My lazy phoenix eyes narrowed and I gave the two girls an ice-cold gaze. "Scram MOB!"

The sudden oppression in my voice and my intimidating aura made the girls take a few steps backward. I just nonchalantly continued my walk while the other students who saw what happened were stunned.

When I reached the cla.s.sroom, some girls also tried to mock me but were cut short by my sharp gaze. I went to my seat with my head held high.

'Ants should know how to avoid an elephant, especially a pretty elephant.'

"Maria! We're happy to see you back after two days of absence." Gwendolyn gleefully said while making her way towards my seat.

"Morning Maria." Vladimir was also smiling but her eyes weren't showing any happiness at all. She couldn't add the word "good" on her greeting because she knew that once the egotistical prince will arrive then their morning would turn h.e.l.l.

'Ahh~ What a good friend Vladimir is. Maybe I should give her a mansion on her birthday. Nah, I'll save it for her marriage.'

I enjoyed a little chat with my friends when a young man's voice called my attention.

"Maria! You finally have the guts to show up in school." It was the blonde kid with b.a.l.l.s – I mean Louis Hamilton.

'Hmm? I guess the girl beside him is Charlotte Logan.'

Her round silver eyes glistened like the stars while her wavy blonde hair made her look like a european princess. Louis and Charlotte looked like a destined pair of prince and princess. As I expected, it's not just Louis whom I'll be up against; the entourage was present.

I have to agree with Sis Eli, the boys are definitely eye candies. Aside from Louis, there were two other boys with a tall lean figure. One was Elrick Deckheim, he had brown hair and amber eyes while the other was Cross Vertcrime, with his seductive silver eyes and red hair. Blue Penhonne was also accounted for, though he was a little shorter compared to the other boys, his curly blonde hair and droopy green eyes made him look cute rather than handsome. As for Hannibal Raven…

'Is he absent? He's supposed to be one of the *guardia civil here.'

Noticing that my gaze wasn't on him, Louis stomped his way towards me. With an infuriated voice he spoke, "Apologize to Charlotte for everything that you have done to her!"

Vladimir and Gwendolyn were planning to say something but I waved at them, signalling them to just watch the show. I stood up from my seat and put on a clueless look. "Pardon my dear FIANCEE, what have I done to her in the first place?"

I could see Louis' face contort when I emphasized a certain word. He couldn't help but grit his teeth.

"Don't play dumb Maria, you know what I am talking about."

My face lit up and put on an expression as if I remembered something insignificant. "Ah! You mean those baseless accusations. Why should I apologize for something I've never done?"

Louis' face was now dark but I didn't care. I turned to Charlotte. "Excuse me, Miss *Harlot *coughs* Miss Charlotte. Are you asking me to apologize to you for something I've never done?"

Charlotte stiffened at my question and her eyes started to dart from me to Louis. "I… I just wanted to know whether… whether it was Miss Maria who did all those things."

My eyebrow rose at her answer. "If you wanted to KNOW then why did you already skip to making me apologize to you? It's already as if you ascertained that I'm the culprit."

Discomfort was starting to show on Charlotte's face thus one of her knights came to her rescue, this time it was Blue Penhonne. "Miss Maria, please stop this farce. Everyone here is aware that it was you behind Charlotte's bullying."

Some of my cla.s.smates had started their loud whispers…

"What a brat! She won't accept that her schemes were revealed!"

"Hmph! She acts like a docile lady but she's actually venomous on the inside."

"She doesn't deserve to be Sir Louis' fiancée! She's off to be someone's mistress."

I narrowed my eyes and put my hands on my waist showing no fear at all. "That's a grave accusation there Blue Penhonne. I hope you have a credible evidence to support your accusation."

"Looks like you won't apologize without humiliating yourself." Louis snorted as he beckoned two girls who were standing at the cla.s.sroom door.

My eyes also caught sight of the teacher who was just standing outside the cla.s.sroom, waiting for the show to end. 'What a magnificent faculty this school has.'

"These two girls are the witnesses of how you ordered some people to bully Charlotte." Louis announced when the two girls were now near us.

A wicked smile appeared on my face making the two girls flinch.

"I see, let us hear their statements."
