Sheng Tian turned around to see two men and a woman.

A fat middle-aged man and a tall young man with the woman, they just looked like a common family.

The trio had a look of disbelief. However, it soon turned into one of ruthlessness.

He would use some poison or schemes to make it more efficient. Only Qin Lie would do such a thing. Hence, he arrived at this conclusion.

The two men went forward while the woman stood guard.

Sheng Tian looked at the men coming and chuckled.

He might not win them in a contest of pure strength, but why the h.e.l.l would he fight fair?

He jumped on the wall of the alley behind him and dashed off on the roof.

The two men followed him and reached the roof at a much higher speed than him.

To their utter surprise, Sheng Tian whom they locked with Spirit Sense vanished.

Even their Spirit Sense couldn't find him.

Suddenly, they felt a chill run down the spine and instinctually protected their body with Profound Energy.

Sheng Tian appeared out of thin air and his fists made their way to their throats even before they could react and broke their lifelines.

Blood flowed like a fountain as the roof was dyed red with a sweet metallic smell filling the air.

'Swish'

Numerous daggers shot at Sheng Tian's vitals which he barely managed to avoid but numerous places among his body were pierced by the daggers.

A look of Disbelief appeared on the women who attacked him in stealth.

Even when the daggers pierced his body, they didn't go deep.

What an incredible Physical Defense!

The disbelief soon turned into greed as she remembered his technique where he was invisible to sight and sense.

She threatened in a cold tone "You better give me your techniques so that I will be kind enough to keep your corpse intact."

Sheng Tian laughed coldly as he said "What a great show of kindness! But this kindness is so heavy that I can't accept it."

Then he took out the red sword from Qin Lie's storage ring.

"Master's Sword!" the woman shouted in disbelief.

This was their Young Master Qin Lie's prized sword. It was looted by Xiao Bai in Death City.

How the h.e.l.l did this brat get his hands on it?!

Before she could react, a load roar directed at her shook her soul.

The Woman momentarily blanked out.

Due to the shock earlier, she was not on full guard.

Adding the roar, she was almost defenseless for a second.

That one second made it fatal for her as Sheng Tian appeared in front of her and pierced her heart and blasted her to ground head first in the blink of an eye.

Doing so, he had to forcefully breakthrough the last profound energy defense barrier of the woman which injured him in return.

Nonetheless, that was a fair trade for the life of an enemy.

'Boom' The Woman's head was blasted into pieces as her skull broke completely.

The Blood was flowing on the roof as she was brutally killed.

Sheng Tian looked at the corpses on the roof with blood flowing under them, heads hanging. The corpses of men were okay, but anyone who saw the Woman's corpse would feel gooseb.u.mps because it is very creepy with parts of brain, blood, skull scattered all around.

Realizing that they had no storage rings on them, Sheng Tian cursed and left the alley.

Sheng Tian returned to his room after the battle, his wounds were already healed with the pills he took from Ling Chen's storage ring. He changed his clothes showing no signs of a fight earlier.

He didn't start cultivating like usually did. He pondered about how he felt during the incident.

There was not much of remorse or hesitation. In fact, he was apathetic, the opposite to how he felt when he first killed.

Sheng Tian had a complex opinion of the situation.

The people who died by his hands reached the state they were and did they things they did because of the society which shaped them as such.

So, Are they really to blame? However, are they really free of responsibility?

When you are brought up in a Society where killing to live better is a norm, no one would and should have any qualms about it.

Sheng Tian realized that it is not that these people don't give value to life, in fact they treasure it even more.

You know Life's worth only when you are at the risk of losing it.
