"Here is your new schedule."

Xiao Rin slowly picked up the doc.u.ment pa.s.sed to her by CEO Xu. It was a doc.u.ment regarding her new, busy schedule.

Xiao Rin slowly read it over.

Normally, any other celebrity would at least frown when reading this type of schedule. It was because there was only one thing in the schedule.

It was work!!

There were no breaks or anything like vacations. It was even her schedule for the next one year.

Not one day, one week or one month but a whole year!!.

"Xiao Rin, will you be able to do this?"

Director Zhao asked worriedly as he looked her over. He had earlier discussed this schedule with Director Kang and CEO Xu.

Normally, he won't say anything about a celebrity's schedule as he knew that packed schedule was a norm for big celebrities.

Even small-time celebrities have a lot of work to do everyday.

Fame was something that could go and go like the wind. One has to work hard to maintain it or they can't be called celebrities.

Director Zhao was someone who knew this very well but he was still against this schedule. It was too much work, even from the view of Director Zhao.

Especially when Xiao Rin was just a 17 year old kid.

He had a discussion with CEO Xu about it in the morning but CEO Xu had refused to change the schedule. 

He was working with CEO Xu for a long time now. From that, he knew that CEO Xu was not someone who would do anything without thinking. 

She will think about the profit but she will also listen to the suggestions but this time, she has refused to listen to anything. 

Even Director Kang had tried to persuade her but to no avail.

'What is she thinking?'

Director Zhao wanted to know her thoughts but he didn't have any way to do it.

'Well, Xiao Rin won't agree to this schedule anyway.'

He was sure that Xiao Rin won't agree to this schedule. For a teenage girl like her, her usual work was already taxing on her.

She would never agree to a schedule like this!!

"I am fine with it."

Contrary to his expectations, Xiao Rin agreed without any objections. She didn't even try to change the schedule a little.

"Good."

A faint smile formed on the lips of CEO Xu as she raised her lips. The expression on her face was saying 'It is going according to what I thought'.

"What are you saying, Xiao Rin? This schedule is too hard for you."

"Director Zhao, I think you have already discussed this schedule with the CEO and I have got it after it has been pa.s.sed by you two. Am I wrong?"

"No...It's right but still…."

Director Zhao can't say that he had pa.s.sed this schedule because he was thinking that Xiao Rin would reject it in the end. 

In the end, Director Zhao can only ask.

"Is there any reason behind you accepting the schedule without any problems?"

Xiao Rin bit on her lips when she heard that. She then lowered her head for a second before lifting it up.

There was a strange glint in her eyes as she opened her small mouth to speak.

"I want to become famous."

"Aren't you already famous?"

"No, I want to get more fame and become the top actress in the country, not the world. Wait! That would take too much time. Yes, the whole of Asia."

It was the first time Director Zhao has seen her like this.

Normally, she would be composed and blunt but now, she was looking confused. It was a strange change in the behaviour of Xiao Rin that he had not noticed before.

'She is acting weirdly.'

Director Zhao thought that her strange behaviour could be because of winning the best actress award.

An award gives recognition and fame but it also gives immense pressure. There can be a change of att.i.tude in the celebrities after winning an award.

Maybe, that was what had happened with Xiao Rin.

'It's not a good thing.'

Director Zhao thought but as he was about to open his mouth to speak, CEO Xu broke the silence.

"Xiao Rin, do you have a dream?"

It was a sudden question, completely unrelated to the topic going on.

Xiao Rin blinked her eyes when she heard that confusion visible on her face but after thinking for a second, she opened her mouth.

"I won't say it's a dream but it's similar to an aim."

"That's a good thing to have. You know I have a dream too."

CEO Xu stood up from her leather chair and walked slowly to the gla.s.s window. She leaned in, like she was looking at something.

Then, she opened her mouth.

"My dream is…."

"Do you remember what I showed you? I will repeat it again. He will attack you, then you have to dodge by twisting your body."

"I don't think I will make any mistakes."

The action director laughed when he heard that. He looked at the young man in front of him and patted his shoulders as he said.

"I know you won't make any mistakes. You had been giving perfect takes till now, so I expect you to continue it till the end."

Ren's lips formed a slight curve when he heard that as he replied with conviction.

"I will not disappoint you."

The shooting was going really well these days with not many retakes.

It was because of the brilliant cast of actors and actresses. All of them were giving their best, especially because «Slayers» was becoming an antic.i.p.ated project of the year.

Moreover, it was a big budget project, so everyone was feeling some pressure on their shoulders.

That pressure led to them giving their all in the acting.

It was true especially to the actors who were playing the lead roles like Hou Qian, Tang Lan, Li Xinru and Ren.

They were not trying to make any mistakes and hold themselves as big celebrities and until now, everything was going well.

"Na Wen, I already told you to give more expressions. Why can't you act? Why are you even an actor when you can't act according to the director?"

Well, everything was going well, except one thing….

"I have started to pity him."

The action director said as he looked over at Na Wen who was currently getting scolded by Director Chen Pu.

"Me too."

One can't help but pity him.

It was not like he was bad at acting. No, he was rather good in it and he was even a graduate from a foreign acting school.

Ren thought that he could even qualify as the first male lead in dramas and movies.

But one can still occasionally hear Director Chen Pu shouting at him on the sets. It was nothing new at all to the staff and the other actors.

There was a reason behind this.

'The problem is that his presence is too thin in front of other actors.'

Na Wen has a good face and pretty good acting skills but he had to work on his presence and atmosphere.

Another reason behind him getting chewed out constantly by Director Chen Pu was because his skills can't be compared to other leads like Ren or Tang Lan.

He was too weak compared to them.

That's why, Director Chen Pu will always think that he was slacking on his acting. 

"Your next scene is with him, right?"

"Yes, we are shooting the fight during the festival."

"I hope it goes well."

"Yes, I hope so too."

Like that, the action director and Ren talked with each other, while looking at Na Wen getting chewed out by Director Chen Pu.
