"Is that really your plan?"

Director Zhao asked Ren as he stared at him like he was looking at a crazy person.

"Yes, think about it, an entire reality TV programme over the process of filming a movie, a musical drama on top of that."

Ren said as he felt his throat going dry.

There were many people in the office including Director Zhao, Director Kang and even Jiang Wan and White bear.

When they heard Ren's plan, some of them were giving me strange looks but Jiang Wan and White bear was slightly nodding at him.

Director Zhao and Director Park was alternating their gazes between Ren and CEO Xu.

They were trying to see her reaction but her gaze was fixated on Ren the entire time and her face was blank without any particular expressions.

Seeing this, Ren continued his explanation.

"What do you think the press and the media will do if there was a verified article saying that I am doing a musical drama and it's with a rookie director too."

"They will be all over you. They are already trying to find everything about you, since the release of «Heirs». They will surely make it a hot topic and promote it on their own."

Director Kang said as she started showing some interest in his idea.

"Yes, that's what they will do."

A actor who never failed and a risky project, what's more, a reality show about it.

It will interest both the press and the audiences.

Ren wanted to gain hype by using that.

"What's more, it's a musical drama, so music will be it's main part. Our company is already famous for idol groups and singers. We can use them to improve our image."

It was a time when people liked to see the music director's and the producers on TV too.

And Top star entertainment's broadcast exposure was relatively small when it was currently becoming more and more trendy for CEOs of large companies, producers, and songwriters to make TV appearances.

Not many people from their company has featured in any reality shows.

It will be a good content for the show.

"I think it's a great idea but you can't just show singers or music making in a show about movie making."

Director Zhao asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I know, that's why, we will show the clips of auditions and casting procedural too. You remember that I was a theatre actor before, right?"

"Yes, you were doing theatre before."

"At that time, I met many people that were too good in acting but never got a chance to perform in front of a bigger audience. They are only doing theatre shows or independent films till now."

"You want to show a story about rags to riches."

"Yes."

Ren's idea will both give the movie good actors and great footage for the reality TV show.

Although rags to riches was a old theme, people still liked it, if it is presented well.

"But if we really went with that, then media will be all over it. It is both a advantage and a disadvantage."

Jiang Wan opened his mouth this time and said and he was right about it too.

Publicity can also backfire.

Because there would be too much hype, if the results were average, media will surely try to tarnish their reputation.

That's why it was a bigger risk.

"Although we can use the producers, songwriters and even singers of our company, that will not be enough. We can be persuade only some of them, not all of them."

What Director Kang was saying was right, they have their own schedules and they can't be free as their schedules can contradict.

That's why they will need some external help.

"Don't worry about it, I will contact the other professionals."

Ren said as he averted Director Kang's gaze. He can't tell her that because he will use his future knowledge in that.

"What about the investments and the production house? Is «A born star» still without investments?"

"Me and White bear were at Arc production earlier. We talked with the project producer there and he liked the screenplay."

Ren glanced at White bear's smiling expression as he continued.

"There were also some more investment companies who contacted Director Ying Yue. Some wanted to buy the project but some wanted to invest in it."

"That means, there would be no investment problems."

The CEO suddenly said, fixing all the attention on her.

"Yes, there would be none. It would be a joint production and Arc production has agreed to it. We are just finalising it."

"But we have to at least have some meetings and sign the doc.u.ments before proceeding to the reality TV show."

"Yes, what do you think about the broadcaster?"

"I think many broadcasting channels will be interested in this project proposal."

Director Kang suddenly said. It looks like she approved of the plan Ren has proposed.

"But if we go through that, you will be in the centre of everything. I mean, most people will surely watch the reality TV show because of you, because of that, there would be too much pressure on you."

"I am a celebrity, I sell my craft. I don't think pressure will affect me. I can do it if it's for the movie which I want to do."

Ren was emphasising his necessity instead of his needs. He wanted to do everything for the project that he choosed.

If he was not sure of it's success, he just have to make it a success.

That was the thought in his mind.

He didn't knew what the outcome of this project would be but he wanted to work towards the best outcome, both for him and the project.

That was the best for everyone.

"Are you confident in the movie and the director?"

"Ah."

CEO Xu's sudden question startled him but he soon controlled himself and answered.

"Yes, I am confident in them. I think this project will be big hit and if it can't be a hit….."

Everyone attention was on Ren when they heard that and he continued.

"Then, we just have to make it a hit."

CEO Xu smiled when she heard that. It was a wide smile filled with elegance, one that Ren has never seen before.

"That's good then, Top star entertainment will invest in the project too. I want to see how much of a hit you can make it."

That's how, the project which made Ren a worldwide star started.

No one knew what results would it give at that time but everyone knew that the hype it will receive will be far too magnificent.
