Chapter 11 the power of Love

“Really?”

Su Lin could not believe his ears that Qin Yanran did say that words . These three years, all the pursuers with all type of means who want to show their affection are all rejected by her cold and distance . Now, today, she said she would give me a try .

No cold face, no totally decline,

She may give me a try!

Someone is crazy .

Not just Su Lin, but also all those surrounding grade 12 students of Jianan No . 1 High School .  What a shocking news to all of them!

With some many followers, she picked that n.o.body guy to give him a try . No one fully understand what is going on now . Maybe a dead tree could blossom, a hog could fly and the No . 10 world miracle is happening now .

“Gosh, who is it . Only an above average looking, cannot called cute at all . Have we ever seen him on the top rank? Why our cold beauty queen like him?”

“I have no idea . It is said they are cla.s.smates . His name is Su Lin . Dam, he got the fortune of love affair . ”

“I doubt it . Did you hear what she said before? That tone, that face, definitely she won’t like him . No way, our beauty queen will never like such n.o.body . ”

Someone comments with obvious jealousy . But he is questioned by others .

“Then why she say she will give him a try, why not decline him directly?”

“Decline him directly?  Sure she always does that way . But did you see how shameless that Su Lin is? Did you heard she yelled at him? I guess that is a trap she prepared for him . The STA score of Su Lin is only above 400, among more than 700 students in our grade one, he could only

rank at 500 or 600 . Top 50 of the grade . Just top 200 already a miracle .

This explanation cleared everyone’s doubts . That is right, there is no reason the cold beauty queen could suddenly like a n.o.body as him . Look at his poor score and plain face .

Therefore, considering what she said before, the only explanation they concluded will be she want to humiliate Su Lin without any trace . The unattainable goal should be much crueler than an open decline .

The dreaming bubble is right in front of him . But he could not reach it or if he touch, the bubble will gone . Just like the adorable mirage is nothing but an illusion .  But the stroke after illusion gone is harder to the heart .

Now everyone understood .

All those jealous guys before were turning into disdain and some sort of sympathy to Su Lin . they laughed at him inside . “Look at you first, now you are in humiliation, you asked for it yourself . ”

But among them, there are still someone who hole the jealous .  They are the top students who could rank in the top 50 . But Qin Yanran gave that condition to Su Lin not them . No wonder they were upset with envy .

The goal of top 50 is a piece of cake to them . But to the poor performance student as Su Lin, that is an impa.s.sable gulf .  He needed at least 600 points to rank inside Top 50 . Now he could now make 400 points, it is a mission impossible to raise 200 point currently .

The gap of 200 points . it may happen for those very poor students with 100 to 200 points .  After one to two month’s intensive hard working, they could raise their points from 100/200 to 300/400 .

But after that, no such chance .

After 400/500 points, just improving 20/30 points already required extra efforts plus some uncertain intangible luck, no need mention 200 point .

That is impossible . Everyone can see that .

Of course, Qin Yanran knew it too . She did want Su lin gave up in front of such impossible task . But some sort of concern rise up in her mind, what if he made it? Then what she could do?

Immediately, she let that concern go . She is the Top 1 student in this school . She knew every points on the paper is demanding the effort they have put in their life . Without the solid academic background and hardworking att.i.tude, no way he could make it .

In her eyes, Su Lis is just a poor performance student, squandering in high school . How come he make it in such short time .

Since it is impossible for him to make it, the concern in his mind disappeared .

But when every witness agreed it was impossible, Su Lin is the only holding the different opinion . On the contrary, he was very confident he would make the top 50 this time .

The reason is simple . He has the magic power to pause the time .

“I already proved it works fine this morning, when I have enough paused time, I can copy anyone’s paper . No one can found out my perfect cheating way . I have copied English from Qin Yanran . Next will be Chinese Language, Math and physics . I just need keep using this way, definitely I would in Top 50 .

Su Lin had some shock too when he first heard the condition, but then he felt rejoice . The seemed impossible condition will be a piece of cake for him .

“It took me about 30 seconds in English test .  I still

 I still have 62 seconds left . Should good enough for the afternoon test . And I may gain another 60 seconds after midnight . I should have enough time for all the left tests . I will have a high score this time and surprise her a lot . Then with her condition, she will give me a chance to be her boyfriend…”

With those thoughts running in his mind, a smile came to his face . He was really happy to heard the condition . Before he just want to say some fancy words which could save him some shame, gained some respect back and not let others too shocked to see his good score . But who could thought Qin Yanran could follow his words offered him such term to become more outstanding, ranking in Top 50 .

“He is smiling, how dare he, he thinks my condition is funny?”

Noticing the smile on Su Lin’s face, Qin Yanran is upset . According to her expectation, Su Lin should give up and apologize to her when he heard the condition . But now, he is smiling there . He seemed like he just won the lottery .

“Su Lin, how do you think my term? You just said, you will become outstanding to prove your crush . So for my condition, you accept it or not?”

His smile trigged hers anger . The little bit guilty to say “won’t like the type of people as you” is gone . Now it is the anger insider her to challenge him .

“Sure, I accept .  And I invite everyone here as the witness . I will come into Top 50 this time . If I can’t, I will disappear from her eyesight, I will never come to bother her again .  ”

With overflowing confidence, Su lin, a n.o.body in the school, replied in front of all the students, which shocked all of them .

Seeing their astonishment, Su Lin turned to Qin Yanran and asked “Miss Qin Yanran, if I made it, will you keep your words?”

Su Lin stared at her with little bit lowering head, his eyes s.h.i.+ned with light and confidence . The hibernated inborn pride was awaken . Yes, who told him he is not allowed to pursue the beauty queen? Who said he could not rank in Top 50?  He will shock them with his score .

“Of course, I am not a great man, but I keep my words too . Just as you said, you can become outstanding for me because of your crush to me . Fine, I would like to trust you . If you can make such huge improvement for me in such short time, you deserve to be my boyfriend . ”

With determination and courage, Qin Yanran replied without any hesitation .  Growing up in the elite family and inheriting the authority of Mayor Mother, no wonder Qin Yanran gained the nickname of cold beauty . Today, challenged by Su lin, she won’t give any impression of weakness .  A promise is a promise . No way will she deny a tiny bit .

She thought same way as she replied . Just as she said, if Su Lin could make it, she would like to be his girlfriend . Such a brave man should much better than those wimpy fake boys with love letters or gifts .

And right at that moment, she started feel curious and interested in this boy . What could make him so confident? What give him the big motivation? She really wanted to find out . Maybe that is the so called power of love?

Qin Yanran confused by the sight . What is love in the world? Could it be same as written as enchanting and beautiful? The power of love, could it create miracle as the book said?
