Alexander knew that his impression on this cold senior of his wasn't good at all. But, he really can't do anything about it. It wasn't his freaking fault that he met that G.o.dly flower on his way here that forced him to speak out some embarra.s.sing thoughts.

Although he wasn't a good talker and he didn't like to get engaged in casual talks. He really wanted to clear his name and he wanted to know the answer to some of his questions. He can't sit for an entire night like this, in this awkward silence.

He used his near numb hands and slowly oriented his body which was aching due to incorrect sleeping posture he used for a long duration of time.

Sitting up straight, he turned towards Isabella and asked, "Senior, how did you find me? I mean… I got lost so I wasn't able to find a way back. So… how did you?"

He didn't even think about why she was here. Afterall his best buddy was still in the group. So it wasn't surprising that he would have urged her to find him. But, finding him in this darkness was near to impossible. So, how did she find him and even played with him? Was it luck?

"Heh! Do you think that a small movement technique of yours is too G.o.dly? Then you are living in a delusional world. There's a lot more in the world." Without even turning to face him, Isabella shook her head and answered without giving a d.a.m.n about his movement technique. In her eyes, it was really nothing. And, he was akin to a bug.

'Small movement technique? That's a G.o.dly technique of chaotic forces. I know, I haven't mastered it. But, you can't insult it like that.' Alexander was shocked after listening to her words. But, he didn't answer back.

First, he can't disclose the actual technique. Second, since she was able to find traces left behind in this technique. Then, without a doubt, she was a veteran too. Can he even stand against her for a second? He must be dreaming if he even thought about it for a second.

However, he suppressed his shock and desire to answer back and gently asked another question. This was something he was most worried about.

"Senior, do you know the way back to the academy?"

This time Isabella moved. She turned her head towards him, lazily and looked at him with a frown. Her vision… It was as if she was looking at a fool.

Yet, she didn't stay silent for long and said emotionlessly, "Do you think if I don't know the way back, I would have played with you in this dark forest instead of worrying about? Or do you think I am as careless as you while walking to forget my own path?"

'Heck! Why didn't I think that!'

Any human when lost in some unknown part of a non-surveillance forest won't be in the mood of playing pranks. Why didn't he think of it?

Sigh...

Alexander smiled awkwardly. Today really wasn't a good day for him. He must have stepped on a piece of some unlucky s.h.i.+t.

He tried to change his image in the eyes of this veteran senior. Yet, he made himself look like a fool again.

Ok! Last try!

"Senior, I feel a bit hungry. I finished my ration while I was lost. Do you have anything left to eat?"

Isabella shook her head and frowned again while saying, "Are you really trying to partic.i.p.ate in a military event? You ate your food after getting lost? Either you must be too optimistic that you'll find your way back or you must be high on something. Either way, I don't have anything to eat. I didn't bring anything with me. Can't you see I am not even carrying my sack?"

Smile! Another awkward smile!

He can't do anything else externally. However, internally...

'Heck! Just kill me. I am really dumb!' This time, he ended up cursing himself inwardly. He must have eaten s.h.i.+t today. Or else why was he so unlucky today?

He started thinking,

'What did I eat for lunch?'

'Durian pudding! See, I was correct!'

'I ate s.h.i.+t! I didn't step on it!'
