Chapter 16 Part 3

Lin Chuyan logged onto the game. After a while, Xiang Nuan also logged on.

They turned on their microphones, formed a team, and were ready to play.

The only difference today was that Xiang Nuan was much less talkative.

Feeling that Xiang Nuan was acting a bit strange, Lin Chuyan asked:

“What's the matter with you?”

Xiang Nuan hesitated, but still spoke her mind: “There's a section on the

forum telling you to go to h.e.l.l, do you know about it?”

“I know.”

“Why didn't you object to it?”

“If I stopped that girl from venting on the forum, what if she decided to vent

at me in reality and toss acid at me?”

It did make some sense……

Xiang Nuan caught an important message with his answer: “So, you really

did it? Laugh at her face when she was confessing?”

“Well.” Lin Chuyan didn't know how to explain. Then he suddenly laughed

and said, “Well, actually, you should be the person held responsible.”

“What does it have anything to do with me?”

Lin Chuyan didn't respond. He moved Sun Shangxiang to the jungle.

“Help me get red.”

He was talking about the red buff monster. After slaying the monster, a

player would gain increased damage and each attack would slow the enemy.

There was also the blue buff which could reduce the cooldown time of abilities,

speed up mana regeneration. Both buff monsters would resp.a.w.n every 90 seconds.

However, after a player obtained the buff, it would only last 70 seconds. Sometimes,

a player would feel that their own buff wasn't enough and try to steal the enemy's buff.

Lin Chuyan was very conscientious about keeping his champion safe. He

rarely would go steal a buff.

Xiang Nuan kept asking as they fought the monster: “What exactly happened?

Don't use me as the scapegoat!”

Lin Chuyan: “Anyway, because of you, no one confesses to me now.”

“That's you own fault. What does that have anything to do with me? !”

In the end, Xiang Nuan didn't get any definite answer from Lin Chuyan.

Gradually, her attention was distracted by the game.

There was a Zhuge Liang on the enemy's team.

Zhuge Liang's looks was in the top three of all the male champions in the

game. In addition to his handsome visage, he had a good figure as well. He

wore the “star trek commander” uniform and looked especially pleasing to

the eyes when he ran on the battlefield with his long legs.

How a champion looked in Kings of Glory was pretty much based on luck.

Since the final modeling of the champion wasn't always comparable to the

original sketch. For example, Ying Zheng, the original sketch made him look

like a cool CEO but the model in the end made him look like a mentally

challenged teenager. Many players complained about the serious discrepancy

between the sketch and model and demanded a remake. The developer

adopted a different approach and changed the original sketch to make it perfectly

match the ingame model.

The playbase were shocked.

Compared to Ying Zheng, it was extraordinarily lucky for Zhuge Liang to have

such a pretty face and good figure.

The enemy's Zhuge Liang not only had good looks, he was skilled. Zhuge

Liang's ultimate would increase in damage based on the opponent's remaining

health. If the enemy's health was low, his ultimate could kill the enemy with only

one strike. Furthermore, if the ultimate killed the enemy, the cooldown time would

be significantly reduced which meant that he could use the ultimate again soon.

It was quite a fierce character.

At the beginning of the game, Xiang Nuan and Lin Chuyan were attacked by

the enemy several times.  Consequently, Lin Chuyan was unable to develop

his champion well. Poor Sun Shangxiang looked like a undernourished little girl.

The enemy's Zhuge Liang gained severals kills and became so rich that he

bought a lot items, making him even stronger.

During the team fights at the middle of the game, Zhuge Liang went in and out

of the battlefield with four kills.

Lin Chuyan's Sun Shangxiang wasn't even given a chance, not even Xiang Nuan

could save him. She watched him die in Zhuge Liang's hands over and over.

They lost the match in the end.

Xiang Nuan sighed: “Zhuge Liang is so handsome!”

Lin Chuyan was silent.

Two minutes later, Lin Chuyan sent over a picture.

The background of the picture was a small booklet. The picture showed the

headshots of both Sun Shangxiang and Zhang Fei side by side. Under the

headshots were big, black characters:

Divorce Certificate.
