Chapter 14 Part 2

Chuyan felt that he had seen this girl before on the bus. Now that Xiang Nuan

had begun eating the cake, the way she chewed and occasionally licked her lips…...

He was certain that he had seen her somewhere.

Where, where had he seen her before……

“You’re……” In a moment of inspiration Chuyan blurted out, “That idiot

wearing-- --”

Xiang Nuan choked and began coughing uncontrollably.

Lin Chuyan thoughtfully pa.s.sed the napkin to her.

She was speechless. After wiping her mouth and sipping some coffee to calm

herself down, she said, “How can you tell? Are your eyes made of diamond? !”

“It really is you.” Lin Chuyna thought about that day and couldn’t hold his

laughter back.

In the beginning, he kept his lips together in a polite smile. After a while, he

simply couldn’t hold it back anymore and his smile grew wider and wider.

In the end, his eyes were crescent shaped and his perfect white teeth were

visible.

Embarra.s.sed, Xiang Nuan took off her sungla.s.ses and threw it onto the table.

“You promised that you wouldn’t laugh! Stop laughing!”

“I’m not laughing. My face just suddenly twitched.” As he spoke, he even raised

his hand to rub his face as if it was true.

He really enjoyed acting.

Xiang Nuan felt like throwing the tiramisu at his face.

Calm down, calm down, I’m a lady…...She reminded herself and clenched her

teeth. “Don’t let me catch anything about you, hmph, hmph.”

“Don’t get upset.” Lin Chuyan said, still couldn’t stop laughing. “I brought gift

for you.”

“Oh?” She raised her head to look at him, “Stop laughing!”

“En, I won’t laugh.” Lin Chuyan lowered his head to search in his bag and take

out a small box for her.

“What’s this?” Xiang Nuan took the box over.

It was a rectangle box with a paper bottom, the other 5 sides were transparent

plastic like a gla.s.s cover over.

Inside the box was a figurine

Looking at the Zhang Fei inside the box, Xiang Nuan could tell that the person

who made it had tried very hard to beautify it. But his efforts were of little use.

She looked at Lin Chuyan without emotion, “You’re doing this deliberately.”

If other people didn’t know that she disliked Zhang Fei, Chuyan should know it

very well. She complained about Zhang Fei’s looks almost every day.

So what was the meaning of giving her a figurine of Zhang Fei……

Seeing the disgust on her face, Lin Chuyan chuckled, “Don’t get mad, there’s

another one.” He pulled out another box.

It was still another figurine, a figurine of Sun Shangxiang.

Zhang Fei and Sun Shangxiang were the pair of champions they had been

using in the past few days. They had ranked up from Silver to Gold using

these two champions.

Lin Chuyan put the two figures side by side right in front of Xiang Nuan.

Why did they look like a pair of adulterers.

Nonetheless, this pair helped them level up in the game. Xiang Nuan was

moved by the gesture a little bit this time.

She wasn’t upset anymore and put the two figures away. “Alright, thank you

for your gifts. I haven’t prepared any gifts for you. I’ll buy your dinner tonight.”

“For the first meeting, the man should be the one to buy for dinner.”

“Take it easy. This isn’t a blind date.”

It was still early for dinner, they sat together to start a new match. Once they

started playing, the familiarity between them came back. Lin Chuyan directed

Xiang Nuan where to move. Xiang Nuan felt the only difference now and when

they played with voice chat was that Chuyan’s voice was even more real and

pleasant in person than over the phone.

After a couple matches, Lin Chuyan asked her, “Why would you dress like that

that day?”

It didn’t make any sense to him. He had nothing against it if she like to cosplay,

even cosplaying a male character, but why would she wear such an oversized

costume?  It was like a colorful sack draped over her, making it look especially

stupid.

“I’m just going to say it once.” Xiang Nuan said, “That was the costume my G.o.d

wore before.”
