It has been five minutes since Vince and Yve arrived at the parking s.p.a.ce of the restaurant . Yve was in awe to see the beauty with the lights and night sky of the same restaurant she had a meeting earlier .

"Beautiful, right?" Vince asked .

"Yes . It looked prettier compared awhile ago . "

"Awhile ago?" Vince looked at Yve as he turned the car's engine off . Yve looked back at Vince and answered his question .

"Ah, yes . I had a lunch meeting with the marketing manager of n.o.ble . "

Vince was in awe hearing this . He hadn't said anything to his mother . Knowing the popularity of the artists under SkyMu, it wouldn't be enough to get the attention of top cla.s.s clothing line such as n.o.ble, unless if they have a strong recommendation . But he didn't dare make the said request or else, Yve will not like it . So to feed his curiosity he asked,

"Did you know someone from n.o.ble?"

"I have met one . "

"And who was that?"

"Their top designer, Maddie . She was the one who helped us with one of our artist's suits . " Yve calmly answered .

Vince can't help but smile . Seeing the turn of events it seemed that his mother found a way to meet Yve . He really can't escape his mother even for a short time .

"Why, is there anything wrong?" Yve asked .

"No . And did you accept the proposal?"

"We are leaning that way as it was an amazing offer . I wanted to accept it right there but Sylvan told me to give it a little time . "

'Smart move, Sylvan . ' Vince thought .

"Do you understand why Sylvan said that?" Vince asked Yve .

"Yes . But I'm not so sure . "

"Then tell me . "

"To show the other party that we are serious and we will not be fooled by a very tempting offer . "

"You got it right!"

Ever since Yve became the president of SkyMu, she would ask Vince for help and advice with the decisions . Vince would gladly answer her questions but soon he began to realize how fast Yve could adjust and began getting the idea of how things work in business . Well, at least for honest business deals .

Vince touched Yve's cheeks and asked, "Are you ready?"

Yve gave him a sour smile and answered, "I'm not but I have to, right?"

Vince laughed at her honest answer and left the car to open the pa.s.senger side .

Vince guided Yve inside the restaurant and were noticed by everyone . All the staff knew how Vince looked and as they saw their Young Master brought a girl dressed elegantly to the restaurant, it left them curious on how things will turn out . Even though they were trained not to gossip, no rule and etiquette can't prevent them from thinking .

'The Young Lady must be Young Master's partner . '

'They're a match made in heaven . '

'They look perfect together . But isn't the lady familiar?'

'Isn't she the new president of SkyMu that had a meeting earlier today?'

'Are they here to meet the Madam?'

So many thoughts ran in their minds but even if they wanted to know about it, they're not allowed to . But things will be different if the Young Master or the Madam will announce it to them .

Vince and Yve went to the second floor . Yve was astonished to see the nice city night view . They're on the terrace of the restaurant with the night wind glazing their skins . It made the entire place look so peaceful yet romantic . Yve walked closer to the railings and smiled as she appreciate the city lights . Vince tenderly looks at Yve knowing that she's very happy . He was right to choose this place as this calmed Yve . Both of them was drawn into their own world that they failed to realize that someone is standing behind them .

"Liking what you see?" Yve's body reacted instantly and became stiff realizing that it must be Vince's mother talking .

"Mom, please don't sneak at us like that . "

"Dear, I was standing here for quite awhile but both of you didn't notice . So I have to make a noise . Did I startle the young lady behind you?"

'My mother clearly saw through me . She has expected that this will not be a simple dinner . '

'Did she knew I was coming? But Vince said that it will be a surprise?' Vince's and Yve's thoughts ran in their minds .

Vince gestured Yve to face his mother and while tightly holding Vince's hand, she turned around and looked at the woman in front of her .

"Told you will meet again . " The woman said as Vince and his mother witnessed a flabbergasted Yve .

"M--Maddie?!" Yve finally got her voice and exclaimed .

'I still can't defeat my mother and her schemes . ' Vince thought as he did his best to hide a smile tempting to surface .
