Chapter 518 - Taking Everyone Out

Chapter 518: Taking Everyone Out

Although they called themselves elites and geniuses, they were still normal humans in the end. That was what kept them from reaching Lu Xuan’s level of skill.

That Dragon-snaring Lasso was a kind of spell that they all would have had trouble even trying to wield. Being able to wield the spell so effortlessly like Lu Xuan was doing now was simply out of question.

His power reserves were practically endless. He showed no signs of exhaustion even after taking down so many of them consecutively.

It was also obvious that Lu Xuan did not consider the Dragon-snaring Lasso, which struck fear into their hearts, to be a trump card. The most terrifying thing about it at the moment was how utterly helpless they were against something that the enemy considered a move that was commonly used.

Such a level of insane power reserves reminded them all of Lu Shanshan, who had demonstrated what she was capable of before.

Maybe that wasn’t the case. To be more precise, Lu Shanshan was but a weaker knock-off of Lu Xuan.

While Lu Shanshan was not nearly as terrifying as Lu Xuan, both siblings were extremely similar at fundamental levels.

Whack!

Lu Xuan whipped the Dragon-snaring Lasso that he just finished conjuring in his hand. The golden dragon scales on the whip were tight and intricate, and the weapon seemed to be raging with the might of dragons.

This spell was most suitable for binding someone up.

The more realistic the scales on the Dragon-snaring Lasso were, the more powerful it was. The raging power emanating from the spell was an undeniable testament to Lu Xuan’s extreme mastery of that spell.

It was something that could have only come from gaining ultimate mastery of that one spell.

The Dragon-snaring Lasso brought about yet another illusion of a crack on the ground.

Lu Xuan eyed the remaining people high in the sky coldly and said, “So, are you lot gonna surrender yourselves, or do I need to bring you all down one by one?”

Some of their expressions changed in response. The aloof, holier-than-thou demeanor on Lu Xuan was unmistakable. It was as if he never saw them to be worthy adversaries to begin with.

What they were the most exasperated about, however, was how their flurry of attacks did not even manage to touch Lu Xuan.

Then again, Lu Xuan’s attitude was still enough to thoroughly infuriate them all. They all acknowledged just how terrifying Lu Xuan’s powers were, which actually made him no different from those monsters that they knew of. Even then, those monsters still needed to treat them courteously; they wouldn’t have seen them as mere animals like Lu Xuan did.

“You’re indeed insolent, but I don’t think that you’d have more hands to spare.”

At that moment, a terrifying attack descended from the sky. In the blink of an eye, a dagger appeared right behind Lu Xuan.

In other words, the attack was seen before it was heard.

Everyone saw how that dagger struck Lu Xuan right away.

Even so, everyone also saw how the dagger, which consisted of a potent poison, began to shatter immediately afterward.

That dagger did not manage to break his defense. While the attack did catch him off-guard, it was still fended off by that Shield of Great Aether, which took the form of a dragon coiled around him.

That blade hit the golden dragon conjured by Spiritual Aether that remained around Lu Xuan, yet it was unable to even put the slightest dent in its scales.

Lu Xuan stomped onto the ground right away in retaliation. A raging shockwave then swept all over the place right there and then.

Someone was quickly outed by that shockwave.

It was only then that everyone finally realized that someone had been lurking in the shadows. This person was trained in the cultivation arts of assassins.

Even though they had been around for so long, nobody had detected that person’s presence.

“How is this possible?”

That assassin was masked, exposing only his eyes which flickered with astonishment. That suggested that he was utterly shocked by the fact that Lu Xuan was actually able to break his attack so easily.

“What petty tricks. I knew you were around as soon as you got near me. Did you seriously think that you could hide from me?” Lu Xuan’s eyes flickered with a golden sheen, indicating that his Delusion-breaker Eyes were at work.

Regardless of their visibility, everything that existed around him had no chance of escaping his Delusion-breaker Eyes. Trying to hide from his sight was deemed to be impossible and utterly ridiculous.

That assassin immediately shouted, “I refuse to accept this!”

Even so, he was running in the opposite direction all the same. It was obvious that he was putting the principle of hit-and-run to work, even though the supposed hit became a miss.

Such was the way of the assassins.

Lu Xuan simply snorted coldly and pointed his finger, which immediately came down onto that assassin like a divine mountain.

The tip of the finger looked increasingly huge, seemingly blocking the sky right away as it fell onto that assassin.

Boom!

That finger attack directly hit the assassin, pinning him to the ground where he stood.

Everyone saw how the finger created a crater where it was pointing. As for the assassin, there was simply a puddle of bloodied flesh left where he should have been standing.

Everyone was unable to help but gasp. They were somewhat doubtful of Lu Xuan’s ability when he went about causing grievous injuries to those attackers before binding them with the Dragon-snaring Lasso.

It was only then that they realized that Lu Xuan did not kill them because he had problems doing them.

Instead, Lu Xuan’s powers had gotten to the point that he could have killed them all without breaking a sweat.

It was almost as if all he needed to kill someone was his finger.

That assassin, who was at Eighth Tier of Divine Treasure Realm, was immediately reduced to a puddle of bloodied flesh.

Whoever remained finally realized that Lu Xuan, who was still standing before them, did not only have the power to kill them all. He had the guts to do so as well.

While they were definitely very powerful, they were still far from being considered invincible in the Blessed Enclave. A good number of their elders were still powerful enough to actually kill them.

However, nobody worried about anything while they all had powerful clans and sects backing them up. The Blessed Enclave was such a small place that killing either of them would have waged a vengeful war between any of those powerful sects and clans.

However, they did not consider Earth to be their territory as of now.

Lu Xuan had both the strength and audacity to kill them.

Lu Xuan probably thought nothing of those sects and clans that they saw to be their ultimate back-up.

Before long, Lu Xuan then brought out yet another Dragon-snaring Lasso. One of the female elite fighters from the Blessed Enclave was unable to react in time, allowing the attack to whip her face. The attack almost blew up her head right away as she crashed to the ground immediately.

The spell then bound her up in midair before she hit the ground, just like how it did with her other compatriots.

The remaining handful of fighters were finally unable to sit around and not do anything. Their fear triumphed over their greed, and they all turned and fled right away. Anybody who still dared to remain to take on Lu Xuan would have been considered utterly insane.

Lu Xuan was Yan Han’s enemy, and they saw fit to let Yan Han take care of that man himself.

Whack! Whack! Whack!

The Dragon-snaring Lasso in Lu Xuan’s hand extended with the wind, splitting into several whips in midair as they headed for those who were fleeing right there and then.

All the remaining fighters shrieked as they were hit. Their bodies fell from the sky once they were bound by the Dragon-snaring Lasso. Nobody could tell whether or not they actually survived the attack.

At that moment, the only ones that remained on the other side were the man that Lu Shanshan fought before and Yun Shuangying.
