"We waited for you until 11 PM, Sheen. You agreed that we will spend the night with you as we watch that b.a.s.t.a.r.d's press conference," Bea pouted, "And you didn't even call me to say that you are having a date."

Sheen let Bea go with a frown, "Okay, I know. I'm sorry, I was just enjoying Clark's company."

Bea looks at her with her eyebrows raised but as she sees Sheen's really sorry with her puppy eyes, she sighs, "Okay, okay. You only have fun once in a while so I'll let you go, this time."

Sheen smiles widely, "Really? Oh, thank you, Bea!"

"Whatever," Bea whispered as she fixes her desk.

"I just remembered, Aria told me something weird yesterday about Clark," Sheen whispers to Bea.

"Hey, let me spill this truth, Sheen," Bea stops piling the papers and looks directly at Sheen with a serious expression, "If Boss doesn't talk about Aria, I don't think you have to concern things with her. If he doesn't want you to be around her, you shouldn't. Not because she's his sister doesn't mean that whatever she says is true."

Sheen stares at Bea with surprise, "What? I mean... why shouldn't I? She's not going to say something that will destroy Clark, she's his sister." Sheen tries to console herself.

Bea snorted, "Then what were you saying that she's saying something about Clark?"

Sheen opened her mouth but no words came out, she just realized what she's about to say which proves that Bea's words are right.

"See? That's what I am saying. She's not nice, I don't care what you or Elgeen say about her. If Boss doesn't like her, I don't like her as well," Bea sits on her chair and opened her laptop, "Go back to work or else I'll tell Boss that you know Aria."

Sheen frowns and turns her back as Bea looks at her worriedly.

"I'm telling you, Sheen. If you have any problem, you can tell me or anyone else, just not Aria."

"Okay," Sheen replied as she walks away.

In a cla.s.sic looking restaurant, Sheen waits anxiously while she fidgets her fingers, "Hey, Sheen," Aria called.

She wears a sungla.s.s with a fedora hat, "Have you ordered anything yet?" Aira asks.

Sheen stares at Aria suspiciously, 'Will she do such a thing? To destroy Clark's name to me?' she thought.

Aria took the menu and ordered them drinks.

'Why would she do that? What will she get from it?' Sheen kept on thinking.

Aria looks at Sheen who looks troubled, "Are you okay?" she asks as she pulls her gla.s.ses down a bit to see Sheen's face clearer.

"Yeah, I just want to clarify what you said to me last night," Sheen clenches her bag on her lap, "About Clark being a liar and someone who manipulates."

Aria smiles at her, "Are you curious or furious that I called Clark those words?"

"Both. Why did you call him that way? I'm sure you want me to ask you this and dig in deeper about it which is why you told me those things, Aria."

"Oh, you're not going to call me big sis?"

Sheen just stares at her with a blank expression.

"Okay, chill, Sheen," Aria laughs and sighs, "Yes, I want you to ask me more about it, so I can spill every secret he has."

"What do you mean secrets?"

"If I tell you, will you hate him?"

Sheen went silent for a while.

She wants to say no but what if she ends up hating him?

She gulps, "Yes."

Their order arrived and Aria's eyes won't look away from Sheen.

After the waiter left, Sheen took a sip of the drink while looking at Aria as well.

'Why do I feel like I should leave before she says anything?' Sheen thought.

"First, he's a liar," Aria started.

She took a sip as well and looks away from Sheen, "Cj's not his kid."

Sheen looks at her confused but she can't say anything, she just wants to hear what Aria has to say.

"I know you've heard the rumor about him r.aping Cj's mother. It's only the half truth," Aria added as her fingers tap on the gla.s.s, "His father almost raped Kira but since she's drunk, she let him do what he wants. Then Clark followed his drunk father in the bar and that's where he saw what he did and covered everything. After two months, he died of a heart attack. Kira looked for the person who was with her and from her information, it all pointed at Clark who helped her get home that night when she was drunk with Clark's father."

Sheen just listens with shock on her face.

"And Kira thought Clark's the person who got her pregnant. Clark didn't correct her when he found out about her condition and pretended as if he's the real father of the kid in her until she died and Cj was born. And yes, he lied to you. Cj knows about it but since he's a kid, he forgot about it," Aria looks at Sheen with a blank face.

She's not expecting for Sheen to believe.

"And about the manipulating thing, he is controlling people with his power and money to get the things he wants," Aria sighs, "Just like when he sent your relatives to prison, how did he get to gather all the other victims of your uncle? With manipulation, Sheen. Sooner or later, he will keep bigger secrets and lies and even manipulate you if you let him," Aria whispers with anger.

Sheen can't say anything other than wide eyes and a half-open mouth full of shock.

"Also, when he asked you to marry him, did you answer out of love or pressure? I know some people were watching you, are you sure you accepted because you want to or because the people around you want you to?" Aria asks with a weird look on her face as if she wants Sheen to agree with her.

Sheen's forehead creased, "What? Excuse me?"

Aria sighs, "I know. I know. You're angry because it made you think of my words, right? You're evaluating if what I said was wrong or not."

'How? Why? Should I listen to her? I'm sure I said yes because I want to,' she thought as her grip on her bag tighten.

"I know that look. You don't believe me. It's fine. Find the truth yourself but I'm telling you, if he can hate his sister, he can hate you too."

Sheen glares at Aria, "I thought you're nice but it turns out you're just playing me. You made me believe that you want to make up with him, but here you are. Anyway, thank you for answering my question. I'll talk to you another time," she stands up, "You're still my big sis, no worries."

Aria continues to finish her drink as she watches Sheen to go out of the restaurant.

She hated Clark since he turned his back from her when she introduced herself as his sister.

She wants to make him feel what it feels for a loved one to leave you behind.

But it hurts her to make Sheen hate Clark.

She's sweet and kind, a person Clark needs.

A person her little brother has to be with.

"Sheen!" Bea shouted as she and Dan get out of the company.

Sheen's wearing an irritated and sad look on her face as she enters but she wasn't able to hear her cousin calling.

"What's that face?" Dan asks Bea while pointing at Sheen.

"I don't know. Bad lunch break?" Bea said as she watches Sheen enter the elevator, "I'll ask her later."

Sheen fidgets her fingers as she taps fast on the floor.

It's only been a few weeks since she and Clark got engaged.

And the person she thought is important to Clark turns out to be someone who likes to destroy her relations.h.i.+p.

The elevator opens and the first person she saw is her fiance.

She looks away when their eyes meet, it made her feel uncomfortable.

As if she's the one who's hiding a big secret.

Clark's smile disappeared as he enters the elevator as well.

He came from a department to check something and is on his way to his office.

But something seemed off, Sheen would normally smile back at him and start babbling.

But here she is, standing beside him quietly just standing on the corner.

He cleared his throat and Sheen seemed to move closer to the corner while looking away from him.

Clark turns around to stand exactly in front of Sheen.

It irritated him to see her avoiding for a reason unknown to him.

It makes him feel uneasy and angry and sad.

"What happened?" Clark asks in a cold tone while both of his hands are in his pocket forming a fist.

'Is this about Allegra? The police arrested her last night,' he thought as he grinds his teeth.

Sheen shakes her head quietly.

"Then what?" Clark asks, his tone turned to a sad one, piercing Sheen's heart, "What is it, Sheen?" he asks, almost sounding like he's begging.

"Nothing, really. Uh, I just felt... weird after last night," Sheen said faintly.

She hates liars, but she is one herself.

Clark steps backward, almost leaning on the wall of the elevator.

He sighs, "Okay," he said in a cold tone again.

The elevator stops on their level and he just left.

Sheen freeze, the moment she saw him walking away, he felt as if she can't and will never reach him again.

"Clark!" She shouted afraid.

Clark grew irritated by her action, early in the morning, while they were eating breakfast, she doesn't seem to mind what happened last night but now she's acting weird about it which is not her.

She's mature and won't make a big deal about a date and kiss.

Whatever is making her show such face is not about last night.

And he wants to know what it is and since he knows Sheen, he knows exactly what she's afraid of.

He didn't stop walking when Sheen shouted his name, he pretended as if she does not exist.

Sheen frowns as she feels her body start to get chills and her hands start to tremble, "No," she whispered.

She made Clark feel bad with her actions and he probably knows that she's lying.

And if she hates liars, he must hate it too.

"Clark!" She shouted once more and started running to him.

'I'll tell him. It will make me feel better and ease my mind and he can clarify his side,' she thought as her hands reach out to him.

She stops and hugs him from behind, making him stop walking with a slight smile on his face as his plan worked.

"I'm sorry!" Sheen apologizes.

"Now, why don't you tell me why you acted that way earlier?" Clark said as he turns around to hug her back.

He brushes her hair while she tightly clings to him, "It's Aria..."
