10 A Package?

"Gray!" Min screams.

"I'm going to hate this. She is going to give me a piece of her mind." I mumbled.

"Gray! Gray!" Min screams again.

Shortly, I heard her stomp down the stairs making me swallowed. This really could get ugly. The heavy vault door of my apartment was push open and Min barge in looking very unhappy.

"Gray! Gray! Gray!" Min screams over and over again.

Furious would be the better word to describe her, dress up in a red little number with her hair and nails done she look like a million bucks but her aura was an ugly maroon red. I knew she'd be unhappy or angry but I didn't think she'd be this furious.

"It's for you!" she screams louder this time and threw the package.

I caught it but didn't dare say a word as she looks like she wanted to kill me. Then again you usually don't walk out and greet the mailman in a sheer black kimono so she had a good reason to be angry even if it wasn't my fault. It wasn't me who sent the package or ask for it but it wasn't an issue worth arguing over. So I let her strutted her heels all over me and went off on her way when she was satisfied.

She was mean to me and I hated myself for being a push-over. Not making a stand when I'd done nothing wrong and I was the landlord, the person in control. It should be me doing the bullying.

However, the room Min's renting is underground that has two small windows. Over us is noisy ruddy bar, name the Drink. Not too appealing and with a lease that continued for two more years than any new owner wanted. That was good for me. Since it kept the price really cheap. This was the super saved I need to be able to meet the conditions but it was hard to find a decent tenant, keep up with the taxes and cover the cost.

I stumbled on a Persian rug I was meaning to hand on the wall.

"Great, I really need to put things in place."I mumbled.

"This is happening too often. It's a b.l.o.o.d.y expensive piece too."

Interestingly enough, I came across it in a furniture store and could not part with it. The design with real gold thread appealed to me a lot. It really put a dent on my expense as I originally hoped to sell it to make a profit. My main job was to find pieces, buy them and sell them, making enough to keep funding the expensive lifestyle of a witch ever since my aunts cut me off. I was doing well enough with myself. Both the normal and the supernatural buy from me but I do specialize in magical items and ritual artifacts. I was making an honest living, minding my own business not that anyone would let me. Eventually, my hands were as dirty as anyone else.
