Chapter 17: Majestic Brother

Xing Yifan carefully pushed the door open and entered, Yinuo following suit . A man was seated in a chair behind an expensive desk . It was like his face was sculpted by the G.o.ds .

When his sight fell onto the pair of siblings, his mouth turned up into a smirk and asked, “What brings you here at this hour?”

“Big Brother!” Xing Yinuo yelled excitedly as she ran over to his side, hiding something behind her back . Her cute face sported a charming smile . Xing Yifan also greeted his brother, before making himself comfortable on the sofa, as if ready to watch a drama unfold .

Xing Linehan noticed his sister’s smile . His gaze fell onto her hands which were hidden behind her back . He looked at her sharply and asked, “What are you hiding from me?”

“Big Brother, why don’t you try to guess . If you’re right, you will be rewarded handsomely!” Yinuo let out her trouble-making side .

“I don’t have any time for your nonsense, just hurry up and tell me!” Xing Liehan could only lightly scold his sister, after all, she was twelve years younger than him .

“Don’t be a spoilsport! Just try to guess . ” If Xing Liehan refused to play along, then things wouldn’t be interesting .

Xing Liehan narrowed his eyes in suspicion . After all, he’d experienced Yinuo’s mischievous side before, “What happens if I guess wrong?”

“You have to treat us to a luxurious meal, of course!” Yinuo didn’t forget to leech benefits off of him .

“Then let me just treat you to a meal now . Don’t have to go to the trouble of guessing the answer . ” Xing Liehan’s eyes flashed with uninterest as he looked down at the doc.u.ments and signed them one after the other .

Xing Yinuo suddenly began giggling, “Do you like children, Big Brother? A highly intelligent and cute one?”

“Your presence is enough to annoy me, I don’t need one more . ”

Yinuo pouted as she continued to interrogate Liehan, “But if it’s your own son, would you like him then?”

Xing Liehan slammed his hands onto the table as he fiercely stood up . His strong, muscled body let out a terrifying aura as he glared at Xing Yinuo, “Just what are you trying to imply?”

Yinuo immediately held onto him and asked, “Where are you going?!”

“I have an important meeting to attend . ”

“No, no, no, no, no… Don’t go! Just hear me out! There is a piece of extremely good news that you need to know!” Yinuo hugged Liehan’s arm tightly, refusing to let go .

Xing Liehan stared at his sister blankly, “Then speak! What is it that I need to know? Is it that mom and dad won’t be scolded at your parent-teacher meeting?”

“Goodness! This has nothing to do with that!”

Yifan, who was seated on the sofa all this time, grew annoyed at his sister’s antics .

“Just tell him already, or I’ll do it for you!”

Yinuo glared at him, “NO! This is the fruit of my efforts, you can’t take this away from me . ”

“Then hurry up . I can only spare a minute . My meeting is very important . ” After saying that, he looked down at his watch and started counting down, “Fifty-seven, fifty-six…”

Xing Yinuo hastily stepped back and spat out the news quickly, “Big Brother, you have a son . An illegitimate son!”

Liehan’s expression froze for a few seconds, then it morphed into disbelief, “What sort of joke is this?!”

“It’s not a joke! I’m not lying . Here, see this if you don’t believe my words . ”

She took out the test report from behind her back and pa.s.sed it to him . Then she pulled out her phone and started going through the pictures in the gallery . “Look, this is him . Big Brother, you do have a son . A really cute four-year-old son!”
