After the cake cutting and a lively celebratory family dinner where laughter and sounds of talking of all members echoed throughout,Ru started to feel sleepy.He curled up in his father's lap and fell asleep with his head on Ryu's shoulder.The peaceful atmosphere returned and everyone decided to call it a night.Neil,Matt and Ah Hai. left after bidding goodbye to Alicia.After Ryu returned downstairs,she would also be going home.All she wanted to do was sleep.She had made the caricature on her own and slept really late and now her body was almost falling over from exhaustion...

Soon Ryu returned after putting Ru to bed and saw Alicia slouching in the sofa almost asleep.She jumped when he came closer and said,"Everybody has gone home.I was waiting for you...I'll get going too...Good Night."With that Alicia started to move towards the door. Ryu watched his woman leave silently.However,the moment she stepped out,he went to her and picked her up.Startled,she found herself in his arms cradled like a baby and wound her arms around his neck.With big doe eyes she questioned him.His answer was,"Missus,this is your home now and tonight is our wedding night.Where are you going?Since you seem to have forgotten about our marriage,let me carry you inside the house like a true bride."

"But...but..bu"

While Alicia tried to utter a coherent sentence,Ryu had already carried her in and was swiftly moving up the stairs.

"I don't have any clothes here..."

"You can wear mine..."

"Ummm...Can we not have the wedding night some other day?I'm tired and sleepy...."

Ryu had sealed her lips with his before she could utter anymore words.Kissing her deeply,he opened the bedroom door and moved towards the bed.Breaking off the kiss,he tumbled Alicia on the bed.

Alicia immediately sat up on the bed shrinking back on the bed,her eyes widened in fear.Was he going to ignore her wishes?

But she need not have worried.Ryu had already turned back towards his wardrobe.Getting a long T s.h.i.+rt out,he came over to hand it to her.But he noticed her posture as soon as he turned.Gone was the usual hazy look she had in her eyes when he kissed her.In it's place there was fear.Why?However this was not the time to interrogate.Sitting on the edge of the bed,he cupped Alicia's cheek and said,"We are both tired.Let's just sleep.I promise to not do anything tonight.We have the rest of our lives to celebrate our wedding night.Rest well and tomorrow we will bring your things to this home."He then slowly kissed her on the corner of her lips and got up."Go,freshen up.I'll go to the other bathroom."

Ryu had already left the bedroom for a couple of minutes when Alicia regained her senses.Picking up the t s.h.i.+rt Ryu left her,she gave herself a mental slap for reacting so negatively and moved to freshen up.

Exhausted from the day and the recent scare,Alicia came back to bed and fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

After dawdling in the study room for an hour,Ryu came backto his room.Alicia was sleeping on his side of the bed.She presented a tempting sight.Her long legs were not coversed by his T s.h.i.+rt which had ridden up.Her hair was spread out on his pillow and the other pillow she was hugging as if her life depended on it.Running a hand on top of her head,Ryu pulled up the comforter on top of her and got into bed beside her.He too fell asleep in a minute.
