Neil came down from the study all the way cursing himself for being a stupid a**.He had told her everything yesterday except the most pertinent fact-that he loved her.And Ryu was right,she had gone about in such a unique way to woo him and he could not even do that!How clumsy could he get!Suddenly an inspiration struck him and he wondered if she would like it.He was going to give her a few fairy tales of her own! Reaching down,he saw,Al had fallen asleep on the couch and Mi Rae was also nodding off.It seemed they had been tired out waiting for them..Wordlessly,Ryu who was following Neil went ahead and picked up his wife carrying her gently up towards their room.

Following his brother's example,Neil also picked up his precious love and made his way to the door.But his lover was not so sleepy that she would not wake up and cuddle into him.She woke up the moment the cold air hit her face and stared at him unblinkingly.He smiled softly at her and continued to carry her all the way to the house and and even over the threshold like a bride. Mi Rae thought that Neil really like to carry her..he did that every opportunity! Did he think she was a kid? Or had problems walking? But whatever it was, she liked it...a lot!

Going to the bedroom directly, Neil laid his precious one on the bed and then sitting next to her, leaned over her and just stared into her starry eyes. His mind was going in circles and he wanted to confess his love immediately but felt that would be wrong. This precious girl deserved to be wooed..kissing her forehead he said,"Sleep!"

She blinked at his unexpected order and said, "I need to change my clothes.. "She had rather been hoping for a repeat of last night but Neil was already gone. In a minute, he came back with a plaid s.h.i.+rt for her and said, "here,wear this. "After this the man ran away as if hounds from h.e.l.l were chasing his heels. 

Mi Rae was perplexed at his behavior. Since he did not wish to stay with her,she decided to satisfy her curiosity.This was the first time she was in his bedroom. During her stay here, this place was always locked. She  wondered why because there was nothing out of the ordinary here. In fact she felt this was the most boring room she had seen. It was almost sterile, the exact opposite of the man that lived in it. Noting her observations she shrugged her shoulders and changed into the s.h.i.+rt.She then went to lie on the bed when suddenly there was a 'tink' sound. Looking around she saw nothing out of the ordinary and lay on the bed staring up at the ceiling. Again the sound came and this time followed by another similar sound. She sat up in bed, suddenly scared. Was there a ghost haunting this room and that is why Neil always kept it locked in the past?

Again a 'tink' sounded and this time her head turned towards the window.That is where the sound came from!She kept staring at it until the sound came once again and this time she realized that someone was throwing pebbles at the window. Warily she went to the window and opened it. Peeping down she saw Neil standing there,ready to throw another pebble. Her eyes goggled. 

Seeing her standing there, Neil called out in his best impersonation of a cartoon, "Rapunzel Rapunzel, let your hair down!I want to come to the tower to see you."

Mi Rae was still speechless and asked, "what are you doing there?"

Coming out of his persona for a moment he shouted,"I am trying to woo you here!Playing a prince to your Rapunzel!I couldn't do this at your place otherwise people would mistake me for a thief.So Rapunzel Rapunzel let me up."

Laughing at his antics,Mi Rae said,"My hair is not long enough,o my prince!"and she showed her shoulder length hair...

In answer,Neil got a step ladder and climbed up making a grown up Mi Rae really giggle like a teenager.Reaching the window sill he crossed his arms on top of it and took out a rose from behind his back and offering it to her said,"O my dear Rapunzel!Please accept my felicitations!"

Grinning now,Mi Rae accepted the rose and said,"Thank you my dear prince!But you must escape soon before the wicked witch who holds me captive arrives!"

"I am not scared of anyone.My heart aches for my princess!" After this proclamation,Neil who was afraid of no one felt the ladder slip and was about to fall.Flinging about he caught hold of the sill and hung by it as the ladder fell to the ground.

Mi Rae laughed and Neil said,"O my princess!Help me come up!Move back a bit so that I can jump in.Or your prince will be breaking his bones."Mi Rae moved back a little and Neil jumped in to see Mi Rae sitting and laughing on the bed,while clutching the rose to her chest..He felt his heart stop as he saw her laughing so happily.Such a small gesture from made her so happy!He needed to do more in the future.Going to her he pushed her back on the bed and put his hands on both sides of her.This made her laughter stop abruptly and she stared into his eyes.

"What are you doing?"

"My dear princess!Do you really think the prince climbed all the way up only to see Rapunzel?Of course not!He is going to make her his!"

"Umm that is not there in the children's fairytale that I read!"

"Of course there isn't!This is not something children need to know!And Now my suns.h.i.+ne,my princess,let me make you mine!"

With that Neil kissed Mi Rae and she enthusiastically kissed him back.
