Zheng Hou was about to make a sarcastic remark about Neil's 'graceful' acceptance but received a big kick under the table.He decided to shut up and finish his breakfast. But he needed to have a talk with his sister regarding the douche bag in front of him.Though the guy had looked serious,those words were not said from the heart and were not too sincere.And it seemed his sister knew it too.He wondered if she had any sort of an accident in the recent months for her to suffer brain injury...

Soon after the breakfast,the doctor came to check on Mi Rae.After instructing the nurse to check her dressing and a general check up,the doctor left,giving a go ahead for discharge procedures.Neil went ahead to comlete the procedure and receive instruction for the after care while Zheng Hou remained in the room.

Since Mi Rae's clothes had been totally blood soaked,Neil had even bought clothes for her earlier.She took the parcel and tried to rush inside to avoid her brother's intuitive gaze.But he stopped her."Mi mi..I hope you know what you are doing..Is it worth it?He doesn't look like someone who is ready to move forward."

Mi Rae took a deep breath and looking her brother in the eyes said,"It is worth it!All worth it.And I will make him move forward whether he is ready or not."

"It could backfire."

"It is a risk I am willing to take."

With that,Mi Rae went into the dressing room.Opening the packet she took out the b.u.t.ton down s.h.i.+rt without a collar and the jeans and placed them on the hanger.Seeing the next items she blushed.Apparently Neil was very thoriugh as he had even bought some undergarments and they were the perfect size too..She was blus.h.i.+ng red as she imagined Neil choosing those garments for her and only after many deep breathing exercises and lots of fanning,did her blush subside for her to come out.

Neil had already returned and her brother was standing with him.The atmosphere was so hostile that Mi Rae thought it was a wonder that the two men were not holding battle swords and sheilds. Smiling at her imagination of the two,Mi Rae said,"Let's go!"

Just as Neil was about to extend his hand to escort her,Zheng Hou did the same and Mi Rae immediately accepted the hand.Neil's hand fisted at the side and he could smell something burning but he had no idea what.The siblings left the room leaving Neil to follow behind.Mi Rae chattered to Zheng Hou in the elevator downwards practically ignoring Neil,making him pout and wanting to throw a tantrum for attention like a three year old.He wondered if he could do that but then vetoed the idea..Zheng Hou was probably returning soon so let her catch up.Once outside,Zheng Hou bid Mi Rae goodbye with a warm hug and a cold nod to Neil.This parting made Neil extremely happy but this was doused in the next moment when he said,"Mi mi,I'll come see you tomorrow!" 

Neil frowned at that but said nothing.Mi mi!She did not look like a mi mi..What kind of a name was that for omeone as elegant as his Mi Rae!But since Neil was pouting..umm..sulking,he decided to not talk to Mi Rae about the absurdity of her name and escorted her to his car.Getting in,he saw that he already looked tired from the effects of the pain killer medicine and so forgetting his anger,he leaned towards her,making her jerk.Leaning over her,he put an arm over her stomach..Mi Rae was staring at him with wide eyes when the seat's back was slowly pushed down.Once the seat was fully in the laid back position,Neil moved back and told the wide eyed girl,"Sleep..my home is an hour's drive away.And you need rest."Neil put the car in drive and Mi Rae obediently closed her eyes.

Once they had reached home,Neil turned to see Mi Rae sleeping peacefully.He did not have the heart to wake her up so he decided to carry her up the stairs.He had already informed his part time house keeper to prepare a room for a longer stay.Though guest room was always ready,he had asked the housekeeper to also arrange some clothes and toileteries.The house keeper was now curious but she was well trained and said nothing.Only thoughtfully prepared the room next to his..

Neil opened the door to the drivers seat and carefully put his hand behind her shoulder and the other under her knees and easily carried her out of the car.The sudden movement jolted her awake and she stared at Neil who was already halfway up.Clearing her throat she said,"Neil,my legs are fine and not hurt.I will walk upstairs."

Neil just looked down at her and shrugged,"I just thought you were sleepy.It is not a problem.I will put you to bed and then you can sleep again.If you need anything,I have asked the housekeeper to stay here until I return.Press number 1 on the phone and you will be able to speak to her.I have to go to the office.."Though Neil had said everything right,there was a tone of distance in it.As if everything was being mechanically.."

Mi Rae was immediately angry and said,"Neil,I thought you said you would give is..give us a try..your tone doesn't sound like it.."

Making an exasperated face,Neil,who had now deposited Mi Rae on the bed,moved back ad said,"I said I will give it a try and I will.But Mi Rae I cannot spend all day with you..I have to work."Neil said this as if he already had a similar conversation with her multiple times..By Now Mi Rae was fuming and Neil had turned around to walk towards the door.But before he could openthe door,a pillow hit him on the back of the head and an angry voice said,"Neil Long!Does my name spell F-O-O-L?"
