Neil drove the car angrily and went straight towards Mi Rae's house.Calling his informants in the media places,he said, "I want to know who is trying to create a wedge between me and my brothers and who is responsible for Attorney Zheng's defaming news pieces."

Receiving a positive reply,he put down his phone and tried calling Mi Rae but her phone was switched off.Cursing and worried about her,Neil stepped on the accelerator.

Her house was surrounded by the press reporters.They immediately leapt in his way when they recognized his car. The two security guards who had been having trouble handling the media heaved a sigh of relief.This was a simple residential area and they didn't have much experience with handling such matters.

Neil's face turned colder at the horde of reporters.This morning someone had released the news of Attorney Zheng being fired from her company for having broken client confidentiality.Alongwith that Neil had also been accused of using underhanded means to win his case as well as obstructing justice by helping a client flee before judgement.Though Imitating had not specifically mentioned,enough pointers had been given for people to guess. Someone had decided to use Neil's previous method to defeat him.Just as he was about to alight the car and face the jackals , his informant called him back. "Two forces are at play. The news houses received news from attorney Zheng's company and from the Hu's PR. 

Since both had a common factor-You, they naturally linked both pieces.And now they are speculating that how you are involved since you are outside Attorney Zheng's house.. "

Neil smiled at that. They were in for a surprise.He smiled at the his person's updated information and gave him a scoop of exclusive news as a reward.

The door to the black Rolls Royce latest edition opened and out stepped a foot encased  in  crisp black trouser pants. 

The cold and uncaring face was nowhere to be seen and in it's place was a charming and smiling face.

Like a mask, no one could have guessed this was the man whose brain was currently plotting against the media and his multiple enemies at the speed of light.The moment his face was recognized,the press was excited beyond expectations. n.o.body knew where the Long Brothers lived so they couldn't wait at their doorstep and they had already been chased away from Lance Inc. And now the opportunity had walked to them. They surrounded him and fired questions at a rapid rate.Neil smiled at them and some of the female reporters almost felt themselves faint.

He looked around and drawled,"Seeing all of you here I expected to see an idol or a beautiful actress and here you all are coming at me.So my wonderful people how can this simple boring lawyer help you?"

Neil's laid back and open approach put the media at ease and they relaxed in their questioning. 

One of the reporters asked softly, "Do you mean you are not aware of the news circulating about you and Attorney Zheng?"

"News? About us?Wow!You guys are fast.We only started officially dating and you already know?!I hope you people are not going to follow us on our date."

And the diversion worked.Forgotten were the pieces of news that they were waiting for. And this was much more interesting to their readers and thus better selling.

Before he could be bombarded with more questions,he further stared at the female reporters and asked,"Ladies,am I looking good for the date?Do you think my date will like me? "

The ladies all laughed while the men just shook their heads.The guy would look good in anything.They were the ones with the ordinary looks who had to worry about being appreciated by their dates.One of the female reporters remarked,"But why would you come empty handed?Very disappointing Mr Long."

But Neil just smiled and opening the back door of the car took out a big bouquet of flowers making the girls all swoon. 

Waggling his eyebrows, he preened and made his way towards Mi Rae's house.But some reporters still retained their senses and asked, "So Mr Long,you know nothing about the accusations that have been alleged against you and Attorney Zheng?"

Neil stopped in his tracks and asked arrogantly,"Accusations?What kind of accusations?And if there are and you are waiting for a clarification then you are going to be disappointed.Because since I am not aware of any thing that I could have done to be accused then obviously whatever news is false.And really do you expect me to check the news and be late for my date?Goodbye everyone and please don't be here when I come out with my date.Goodbye."

Leaving them behind he went inside with a swagger but his expression had changed again and set into the same impa.s.sive lines. They thought they could defeat him using his own strategy.Attacking him and his integrity?They were going to suffer.Looking down at the flowers in his hands,his mouth settled in to a thin line.He knocked on the door of Mi Rae's house, he called out her name so that she would know who's come.The door opened a sliver and a pair of big eyes stared at him.
