"Let's make a baby,missus."

Ryu's words reverbated in Alicia's mind like a gong.Stilling for a moment,she looked at Ryu with nervous eyes.Her heart whichhad been pounding moments ago had come to a stop.

For a moment,she wondered whether Ryu remembered their conversation and her refusal to have a baby...Maybe some snippets of the past remained buried..

Ryu could read her like a book and answered her unasked question,"Yes missus,I remember that you are scared to have a baby and the reason for it.But you seem to have forgotten what I told you then.There is no hurry.We had time then and we have time now.But I would like to hold a baby with your beautiful eyes and sweet smile...I want you to atleast think about it.If after that you still feel that you are unable to get over your fear,then we will discuss other things.And tell me Al,do you trust me?"

Alicia's eyes which were now glittering with tears made Ryu's heart ache but she nodded her head in affirmative.

Cupping her face in his hands,Ryu kissed her on one eye and then another and said,"Then trust me when I say that we can conquer this fear together.Hmm?"

Alicia smiled a small smile and hugged Ryu around the waist,closing her eyes and savoring the protected feeling she felt in his arms.They stayed together like that for a while,thanking the fates for bringing them to each other and thinking of the future.

Over time,her memories of the past had faded little by little as she had basked in the love of her family.But suddenly those feelings had rushed back trying to drown her peace.She had no idea how to cope with these troublesome emotions.Ru was growing older and she knew that he would love to have a sibling to take care of and play with.She could even imagine her little baby having Ryu's and Ru's smile.But in the next moment,her imagination ran wild as she thought of losing her baby.CLosing her eyes tightly,she hugged Ryu harder.

They were set to go back tonight.And Alicia had one goal yet to accomplish.Ruin Alan and Ah Jui.Thought the burning desire for revenge had diminished,the need for closure was still there.Maybe just maybe when she saw the downfall of those people,her fear would diminish..

After sometime:

Alicia bid goodbye to her professors and cla.s.smates as she left the university with Ryu.She had formed no close friends.h.i.+ps with anyone other than Qi Cheng and Onita during her stay here.

They were going to celebrate at Alicia's favorite restaurant.Following them in another car was Qi Cheng who was also set to join them with his parents.Today's lunch was a celebratory one for their graduation and the successful business partners.h.i.+p of Qi Cheng and Alicia.

In the last two years,Alicia and Qi Cheng had formed a partners.h.i.+p to take the subsidiary that Ryu had gifted her to new heights.Under the leaders.h.i.+p of Alicia and Qi Cheng,the company had turned over from a money laundering and fake firm to a thriving portfolio management firm.Just like Lance Inc.,this company's primary focus was also investment but on a much smaller scale.Alicia had created a company which allowed the middle cla.s.s,struggling students and others to make small and safe investments.Instead of investing in unknown schemes,they handed their hard earned money to Alicia's company to create a nest egg for themselves.Because of Al's and Qi Cheng's personal involvement and Ryu's guidance,the company had reached such lengths that they had to hire external financial advisors as well as extra employees..Already the company was a well known one in the investment market.Today,Alicia was going to handover the reins for the management side of the compant solely to Qi Cheng and then she would be set to dip her feet in the investment market in country C.

Most financial experts in Country A knew Alicia as the co CEO of her company instead of Ryu Long's wife.Only select few had been privy to this information.And now Alicia would have to start over again from her own country,utilizing the experience she had acc.u.mulated here.The difference was going to be that she would now be officially working with her hubby as an experienced partner making Lance Inc's foray into the portfolio management a successful venture.Seemingly Ryu Long wanted to leave no industry untouched.Whichever market he had not conquered,he had prepared his wife to win it over.

After the lunch,as they were about to part ways,Qi Cheng made a small announcement.He would be returning to country C with them.Ryu who knew about Onita said nothing just quirking an eyebrow while Alicia looked at him in amazement."Why did you come back then?Just for the graduation ceremony?Do you want more jet lag?"

Qi Cheng's parents were shocked as well.They had set up a few marriage meetings for their son but he had suddenly announced his intention to leave the country.Mother Qi also frowned at her son as well.Why was he suddenly wis.h.i.+ng to go to country C syddenly.Her eyes suddenly s.h.i.+fted to Alicia.Was he in love with her and trying to stat close to her.No her son would not so that..Then why did Qi Chengs have this deire to go with them.

Qi Cheng knew everyone had their questions but he only wished to see her once to confirm that she was happy.The one who got away.He would have to go and find her but atleast the field of their search had narrowed.Suddenly his eyes cut to Ryu's all knowing ones.And in them he saw the truth.Ryu knew where Onita was..and had guessed his reasons for going to country C accurately,
