When Ryu came inside the house,Alicia was sitting cross legged on the floor with a first aid box in front of her.Without saying a word,she extended a hand towards Ryu .Understanding her intentions,Ryu went to her and sat down across her.Quietly,she cleaned the scratches that he had received from being rough with that man.Once she had applied the medication,she packed away the box and made a move to get up.But Ryu had caught the sheen of tears in her eyes.

Holding her wrist,he caught her and said,"Come here."

Needing his warmth and support,Alicia quickly crawled into Ryu's lap and quickly buried her face in the crook of his neck.Feeling the wetness of her tears against his skin,Ryu consoled her.He did not think that these tears were for his minor hurts but he did not know how to console her with words.So he wrapped his arms around her and let her be.After a while,Alicia had soaked through Ryu's t s.h.i.+rt and she asked with a hiccup,"Hubby,do you think I am a very bad person?"

Ryu understood that she needed rea.s.surance that what she had done was not wrong.But he did not say that to her because words meant nothing.Instead he asked her,"Why would I think that?"

"Because today i went looking for trouble.The Xu's,they are already in the past but today because of my thirst for revenge I brought them into our present as well.These last 3 years,my only motive for living has been revenge...but now that I have you and Ru and the rest of the family.I don't feel like looking back,but on the other hand when I saw those women kneeling today,I felt elated. And then I saw what you did to Alan Xu just now,I felt as if a part of my old wounds was being soothed.Every abuse that I suffered in order to maintain that relations.h.i.+p,every part of myself that I sacrificed,I felt that I will have it back when I see them fall.But that is an impossible dream isn't it?Nothing can bring back those years,can it?"

Ryu felt every word that Alicia spoke pierced his heart.He wanted to tell her that wanting revenge did not make her bad.But he knew she was a softy at heart.It was not in her nature to hurt someone.Not wanting her to stay in a dilemma,Ryu decided to take matters into his own hands in the future and let his wife be free.With this thought in mind,he said,"Alicia,whatever you do is right.Nothing and no one can make me believe that you are a bad person.I do not want you to wallow in such thoughts.I have no objection to looking forward in our lives.There are going to be many new moments in our future.As long as your heart is peaceful,if you wish to let go of the revenge,I will stand by you.If you choose to go ahead with it,I will support you.If you wish to take a back seat and use me for your revenge,I will support you."

He felt her take a deep breath and slowly blow it out."I think I will go with my original plan and see this to the end .I've already rolled the dice...If for no reason then to teach the Alans of this world a lesson.Do you know why he had the guts to come here even after knowing your ident.i.ty and where he was these few years?It is because of his lover Jui. Ryu smiled a small smile and with a flick of his finger on her forehead, teased her,"Missus,you give a new meaning to the term over thinking!I am telling you repeatedly that I want you to use me but you are too dumb to take a hint!"

Alicia rubbed her forehead and frowned at him,"But aren't you on good terms with the President?You should at least feel angry that I did not tell you about this!And I planned to wait until he became powerful and then make him fall...But what if he builds resistance against you in the future?"

Shaking his head at her stupidity,he answered,"Missus!Do you think I did not know about this connection?And I am not on good terms with the President!He is on good terms with me!He needs my money to remain where he is!And since he is an overall good president,not too corrupt,I don't mind letting him be.But the day he chooses to help Alan Xu,he can forget everything he has worked for.And do you think I am called typhoon just like that?For Alan Xu to escape me,he will have to stay underground or rather buried six feet under the ground.Now,rest your heart and stupidity.We will continue with what we were doing before we were rudely interrupted!"

Alicia looked at Ryu and felt herself blus.h.!.+He,somehow always brought back the conversation to bed sports!

Looking at Alicia,Ryu grinned and again flicked her forehead!"Get your mind out of the gutter missus!I was talking about cooking!You really do have a one track mind!Always thinking of getting your hands on my body!It is not too good for you to have so much l.u.s.t!"With that he deposited Alicia back on the floor and went towards the kitchen.

What Alicia did not see was that her hubby was grinning from ear to ear after having purposely teased her.
