95 Does Not Bother Me

A soft laugh left her lips as she celebrated her victory. She had not liked seeing her dearest husband unhappy and had striven to lift his mood as quickly as possible. Which was obviously by making sure he realized just how much she loved him and that knowledge of her bloodline changed nothing.

She knew why he had been worried earlier. He had probably been shocked to discover just what her bloodline was, and she had no doubt that her bloodline was this Nilaren one. Everything the book said about it was something that she and her magic filled perfectly.

But it did not really bother her. Sure, it meant that a sorcerer could feel rather tempted to use her, but she knew the type of person her husband was and knew that he would never blatantly abuse the way her magic worked. She did not mind him borrowing magic from her, they were married after all and as such what was hers was his just as much as what was his was hers.

Besides, if she was being perfectly honest with herself, there was one point about her bloodline she felt rather excited about. The book had said that Nilaren sorcerers could eat large amounts of food, and that doing so would never affect their body weight as it was converted into magical energy very quickly. Zylvia rather liked the idea of having a magical metabolism.

Her eyes drifted over her lover's face. He really did look so happy as he slept. A little worn out but filled with satisfaction. It was nice that she could so quickly improve his mood. Only a few hours ago he had been so frightened about how she would react and now he had fallen asleep with her cozily wrapped in his arms.

She shook her head with a smile on her face. She would never get mad at him over something not in his control. Even if part of the reason he was attracted to her was because of her bloodline she knew there had to be more to it than that, she knew him well enough to know just how good of a man he was.

Oh, he had issues, but he worked on them. Which was in and of itself a good recommendation. And some of his issues even tied into his strengths. He had trouble with emotions at times, but that also meant he was less likely to be blinded by them.

She giggled and wrapped her body around him tightly. She yawned, feeling tired. Well, drained more like. Shed still was not entirely used to being married. But she was okay with this. Figuring out their new relations.h.i.+p was something that she was enjoying doing with him. It was fine with her to do it at their own pace. Which was actually pretty fast by her figuring.

She shuttered her eyes closed, as she snuggled deep into his embrace. Cuddling with him was really comfortable…

It did not take her long to drift to sleep. Her dreams were pleasant and filled with thoughts of the wonderful man sleeping next to her.
