78 How Many

It made her feel special, something she had never really felt before. But now, with him looking at her like this, knowing that he loved her dearly, it was impossible not to feel like she was precious and special, at least to him.

She gazed up at him with a smile on her face, her eyes filled with love and adoration. She hoped that she made him feel as special as he did her.

Kaldrek leaned down and kissed her nose in a teasing manner. A giggle escaped her throat, as she tugged him so that he was nearly flat against her. He kissed her near her eye and then her forehead.

"I really do love you, my lady," He whispered as he pulled back a little to look into her eyes.

Zylvia nodded, her throat going strangely dry. She pulled herself up to kiss his nose and murmured shyly, "I am realizing that, and I love you just as much."

His hands moved to grip her waist securely, and he pulled her snugly against him. He gave her a bright smile and then kissed her on her lips. She leaned into him, moving her hands to be around his neck. When his tongue flickered across her lips, she opened her mouth for him.

Her mind was going blank as she enjoyed the pa.s.sionate kiss. All that mattered at the moment was the feel of him against her and exploring his mouth.

When he pulled back, letting her catch her breath, she smiled charmingly up at him, and then buried her face in his chest. He plopped down beside of her on their bed, and held her close, so that she was now resting on top of his chest.

Her heart was beating pretty quickly, as was his. Her eyes fluttered closed as she listened to his heart pumping.

"Oh, Zylv..." Her husband's voice was low and filled with emotion, "I never knew I could feel happy quite to this extent."

She understood what he meant by this as she felt much the same. Happiness was flooding through her continuously just knowing that he felt the same for her, and being around him made it even more so.

Devoting her life to him had once seemed like a dream, one she had tried her hardest not to have even, but now she was able to do so. Not only able but had already promised such.

She snuggled deeper into him as she hummed in agreement. She felt one of his hands stroke her head, tugging gently at her hair. There was no way that Zylvia would have been able to keep from smiling right now, she felt so ecstatically, wonderfully, happy with the way her life was turning out to be. Just thinking about spending the rest of her life with the man she loved deeper than anything. or anyone else, was more than amazing, it was wondrous and exciting and it was all she wanted.

"Kaldrek?" She peeled back from him and looked up at him, smiling as she did so, "I was wondering, you've never said, do you... want children, or are you just willing to entertain the idea for my sake?"

Her husband's eyes were closed and there was a small smile on his face. When she asked him about children, his smile widened a little, "Children? If its yours, then yes."

"Does that mean that you don't particularly want children, and you're just humoring me?"

"Of course not, love," Kaldrek opened his eyes and cupped her cheek with his hand, "It means that if you will help me raise the child, and smooth out my shortcomings, then I rather like the idea of being a father. I know that you will be a better parent than I will, but I am willing to do my very best."

Her cheeks flushed at his praise, and she smiled, "How many children would you consider best for us then?"

"...." His cheeks began to flush and he kissed her nose, "Uh, how many? I think I will borrow your words and say that 'I refuse to put a limit on it'?"

She grinned at him and touched his cheek, "Then, love, we really should be working on it, right?"

"Probably," His breath caught as he looked at her. She smiled as she leaned up to kiss him, she was aware that her husband had been controlling himself since they had entered their bedroom.
