She could not recognize the man, who she loved with all her heart, anymore.

Instead, a coldhearted and bloodthirsty stranger stood infront of her, giving her sharp and stabbing glares.

"You should spare your voice the deadly poison will take effect in any moment now." he said in a cool voice and paused.

"You are asking me how did you wronged me? Well your kingdom intended to ultimately destroy my kingdom through this political arranged marriage!" Ares blurted out madly.

"What. What do you mean?" asked Eleanor in a confused manner.

"Oh I forgot, I should introduce myself again. I am Ares the ruler of Demonia or better known the zombie kingdom. You may ask how is it possible? After the huge ma.s.sacre a decade ago the king and the queen of Demonia planned the a.s.sa.s.sination attempt of the young crown prince of Mazeldovia. The queen and the king of Mazeldovia were devastated of the death of their only and last heir and that is when my parents secretely send me to the orphanage of Mazeldovia. The queen and the king adopted me because they could see their lost son in me? Stupid ha? After that they declared that I would take the position of my deceased brother, making me your fiancee" said Ares and a devilishy smile appeared on his face.

Eleanor was shocked.

She could not believe it.

She does not want to believe it.

The Ares she known was just an illusion she made up?

All this time their love was just an act?

"What, did you seriously thought that a zombie is green, brain dead, slow and feeds only on human brains? Fool."

It hurted but it was nothing compared to the pain which Eleanor felt in her heart.

Shortly afterwards, Margonia and Mazeldovia were conquered by Demonia.

The unresting soul of Eleanor observed this bloodbath and could not tolerate it.

She swore she would return and let him experience h.e.l.l, before she vanished completely.
