The little girl was completely out of breath from fear. She was literally scared.

"By the way, why did you enter into that room?"

"Me? I came to warn you... I saw some people walking towards that room. But because of this lengthy dress, I tripped and fell." She wore a cute dress with a print of the daisy flower.

Her dress was undone a little, revealing a little bit of her chest. She seemed to not have noticed it.

"So... now, are you trying to seduce me? I don't mind if we continue where we left off." He licked on his lower lips in an erotic manner.

"Wha.. Who is trying to seduce you?"

Veer quitely pointed out her chest.

The little girl blushed harder as she immediately covered it up.

Seeing the girl's cute reaction, Veer couldn't help but think she looked lovely. He was capable of escaping any situation by himself, but that was his first time to be helped by someone and that too, it was a little girl.

He went near her and patted her head as gently as he could, "You must have been very scared... right?? Sorry and thanks..."

Hearing his words, the little girl couldn't help but bawl her eyes out. She was indeed very scared when those men immediately opened the door. She felt like her heart nearly leaped off from her chest.

Seeing her cry her eyes out, Veer couldn't help but to hug her warmly and console her.

After a while, she calmed down.

"As a thanks, I will do you one favour. Ask me anything that you want?"

The little girl was completely surprised by his remark. But she had nothing to think about. All she wanted was to escape from that brothel.

Seeing the look in her eyes, he immediately understood what she was going to ask him.

"You want to leave this place right?"

The little girl nodded her cute little head vigorously. She indeed wanted to get out from that place. Even though she was abandoned by her family, she doesn't want to live a life like that, selling her body to the men each and every day.

But she doesn't have a place to go after leaving there. She can't possibly go back to her family. They already abandoned her once, they won't think to abandon her once again.

She was frowning as she thought what she would do.....

Veer once again understood what she was thinking, it was as if they both shared some kind of telepathic connection between them.

"When you leave from here, I will get you the work of the servant girl in the palace. There you don't have to worry about anything, as long as you keep a low profile, you will be able to survive in that place. So, do you agree?"

She thought for a moment and nodded in agreement with him.

After a few days. Just like he told, Veer took her out of the brothel and made her enter the palace as a servant maid.

"Me?? Hahaha, I am Chahna. May I know your name, sir?"

She pulled herself together and stood in front of Veer as she gazed straight into his eyes. Her look was sharp and steady. It was just like how it was back then, steady and unwavering, strong yet warm, nervous yet beautiful.

"I... I have liked General Veer for a long time now since that night. I am not scared of you, its just that, whenever I look at you I am always at loss of words... What I am trying to say is that...." Chahna didn't know how to continue, she was so nervous and her heart was racing. She blushed all the way to her ears.

Veer was smiling from ear to ear as he thought, 'Ahh... This is it! This is what I have always wanted. A person whom I can confide in, a place I can call as a home. Even now, I am scared of our future. But... if it is with her... I can give it a try... I can try and fall in love just like others....'

He went near her and pulled her by her waist and caressed her blushed face lovingly with his fingers. He gently stroke her forehead, her eyes, her nose, her cheeks and finally her lips.

She couldn't help but blush harder and harder from his each touch.

He leaned in and placed his cold and thin lips onto her soft and sweet lips lovingly. As he kissed her, he held her into his arms gently.

The stillness of the night, the rustling of the leaves, every little thing that made a small sound, created a melodious tune.

Chahna broke the kiss first as she spoke shyly, "Its already late into the night. Lady Ira might be hungry.... I have to go now..." Saying that she immediately ran away from him as fast as she could.

'This is not the first time that we have kissed, but somehow, this kiss feels so different from the previous one we shared.'

Chahna turned as red as a tomato as she headed inside the main house.
