她走到白真真身邊，興沖沖道："哎喲，我就說嘛，真真你怎麼就突然有錢了呢，原來是認識了這位大老闆啊！這麼好的事情，你怎麼也不早點和爸爸媽媽說……"

I did a culinary experiment the ther day, and it turned out not so well…. (usually they turn out good, I swear!). I guess using only 2 from the more than 10 ingredients of the original recipe plus doing whatever I wanted in the cooking steps had some influence in the end result…  In my defence, I'll say that even if the end product was totally not what it was supposed to be, and it looked totally not appetizing, it tased great ? that should count for sth, right? ? I

1: 墊付 was used here. It means to pay sb else's expenses with the expectation of being reimbursed by that person later. However, I am not sure President Leng would ask for the money back as long as he can get away with having Bai Zhen Zhen as his secretary, so I preferred to leave it in a more vague way.
