John jump some distance away from the fight to catch some breath and watched how Erika and Eva started a new attempt to damage the colossus. Erika used the distraction a small group of players gave them and advanced behind the colossus directly followed by Eva. The next time the colossus lifted its leg to end another poor soul's life Erika quickly jumped to reach the knee joint of the other leg. She grabbed her Ax with both hands and used all her strength and weight to hit the Joint from behind. Just before she hit her target Eva came running with an incredible amount of speed and jumped on to the backside of Erika's Ax to give it more speed and force. A deafening sound rang through the air as metal was sc.r.a.ping over metal, and sparks were arcing between the ax and the Colossus. This mighty attack did s.h.i.+ft the balance of the Colossus a little bit so the players that were about to be killed by the Colossus`s stomp survived as the Leg missed them with a hairsbreadth.

But as Erika pulled away her Ax a pristine surface on the Leg was revealed, their joint attack didn't even leave a scratch. But before Erika could comprehend that all their actions were futile the colossus turned around and hit Erika and Eva with his backhand flinging them several meters away before they came to stop. Eva near Perfect Body enabled her to quickly get up after she recovered from the disorientation that she felt from the hit. But Erika didn't have a body as durable as Eva so she was laying on the floor, blood flowing from her mouth and heavy breathing in pain. But Erika wasn't finished yet, she couldn't accept their complete defeat so she took everything she had and stood up. She was shaking on her feet and just before she could take a step forward she was falling down once again just to be caught by Eva before she could touch the ground.

John saw all that and his Anger was flaring up once again, and as his anger rose the dark mist around him, the Colossus grew in size and intensity. The Colossus, feeling its rise in strength, focused on John like it would understand something. Then it turned around looking at Eva and Erika completely ignoring the other players that were attacking it. Just before it reached John´s friends it once again looked at John before flicking Eva and Erika with his finger. John´s anger shot through the roof, he quickly ran in the direction of his friends, he had to save them, and he had to punish this Colossus, his greatest mistake.

The Angersteel colossus once again advance in the direction of Eva and Erika only to stop shortly after to make a movement like it would breath something in as John anger was rising once again strengthening the Colossus. John had to hurry up, he knew that Erika wouldn't survive another hit. He had to somehow distract the Colossus from them. John grabbed his Hammer Erinnerung and started swinging it as he was running, he put in everything he had all his pent up emotion all his feelings for his friends and hit the hand of the colossus away from his friends. Even though he didn't damage the Colossus the force behind his attack changed the trajectory of the movement making the Colossus miss its intended target. John quickly yelled at Eva: "Grab Erika we have to retreat! I keep him occupied and come later!" Eva followed his command while John was still deflecting several attacks of the Colossus by changing their trajectory.

When Eva and Erika were far enough away John wanted to retreat when he noticed a small bolt on the index Finger of the Colossus was loose, he made up his mind and tried something. John was closely observing the movements of the Colossus and it was attacking once again John quickly ducked down to evade and hammered against the loose bolt. John attack hit its intended target and moved the bolt a little bit more resulting in a small armor plate coming loose and falling to the Ground, John quickly grabbed it and distanced himself from the Colossus to retreat and look after his friends.

The remaining other Players were also quickly retreating and decided that after they were save, they would take some days off from the game. After some running John caught up with Eva and Erika and the three of them hurried back to the dungeon, Claire and Olaf were waiting for them but were startled by the state their friends were in. They quickly helped carrying Erika and Claire pulled out some Potion and fed them slowly to Erika.

Olaf walked to John and asked him: "What happened?"

John had a dark look on his face and answered: " It was a complete defeat..."
