33 Chapter 32: Faemyr And Irony

Raizel noticed the changes in Yumina's face after he revealed her the truth. She was breaking apart mentally. Because accepting this information meant everything that happened to her was her own fault, but the eternal link between her and Raizel would neither let her dismiss Raizel's words nor fall into madness.

"You can grief all you want after I finish speaking my piece." Raizel says stunning Yumina and temporarily making her focus on him again.

"To understand your situation you must first understand what a Faemyr is. A Faemyr is a being of Law and Energy which represents the world itself. They hold the origin fate of all beings born to the world and regulate the general trend of the world. They are the guardians of the world."

"There are kinds of Faemyrs; one born from the world, the highly efficient yet apathetic Faemyr, and the other is an expert who owns a world, becoming its Faemyr. Natural born Faemyrs have no will of their own, they are devoid of any kind of emotion or desire other than the ones concerning their worlds."

"You are a clone of that Faemyr disguised as a mortal to deceive the invaders' eyes. But that's not, it's also preparing you as the strongest vessel for its return. Hence, you have two extremely powerful pseudo-Nirvana rank lineages without literally killing yourself, unmatched talent, immunity to karmic debts, and the discreet support of the World Fate..."

"So, that means when I regain my former self... I...I will become a golem for the world." Yumina interrupted Raizel's long speech catching the most crucial part of the speech-- her reverting back to a Faemyr.

"That is correct." Raizel replied sternly. But his confirmation made Yumina tremble in maximum dread. Just the thought of wholly becoming another person without her consent terrified her. But the cause of her fear made Raizel grin ear to ear triumphantly.

'I will forget all about Raizel...his love and company...worst my old self might not only be apathetic towards him but could also become his arch-enemy. Raizel himself said anomalies are hated by the heavens.

NO!! I can't let that happen, to use my body to harm my love and blood-- how can I tolerate that. Even if she is the original me, I will make sure she never reclaims this me.

Even if she was me before, she no longer is now. I live a different life now and in no way am willing to let go of this life. The world could go f*ck itself.

I choose to end myself in soul and body rather than becoming a threat to Raizel.' Yumina thought with undulating resolve, unaware that Raizel was peeping at her mind through the eternal link.

"Don't worry too much, I have a way to turn this situation beneficial to us. But it depends on if you are willing to degrade your lineages in order to severe the link between the Fae and the current you."

"Do it. I don't want to live in the constant fear of losing myself any more than I have to." Yumina resolutely declares without hesitation.

"Are you sure? It could make you the most powerful being in this world. One thought and you would be able to control the destiny all races under your domain." Raizel's enticing words had no effect on Yumina's mind. There was no need to answer his question, her unwavering look said it all.

"Very well, it looks like you will be walking the t.i.tled path like me. What we are going to do is simply marge the laws with your essence and strip away the lineage that connects you to the world fate." Raizel explains as though it was a walk in the park when he himself struggled during his fusion. Then again, his experienced dual fusions and a single one like Yumina will face.

"What is the goblins actual role in all? I don't understand the need for them here?" Yumina suddenly asked out of novelty.

"Well, natural-born Faemyrs aren't apathetic without reason. They hold dominance over the fate of every creature within their world. The strings of fate are made of spirit-links stemming from every sentient creature. So naturally, the Faemyr is exposed to all the thoughts of the creatures which could lead to a mental and spiritual disturbance within the Fae. Not mention, the poor thing also has to extract the intents from those thoughts and convert it to spirit energy." Raizel answers.

"So, if the strings of fate are spiritual links weaved together then the race with the highest populance would have a better monopoly over the fate weave. So, the existence of the goblins was to take over the fate weave from the Fae." Yumina was enlightened.

"Correct!

But there are still some mysteries I have yet to uncover. This kind of situation only happens if the World Will gains sentience and fights the Fae for control which is an unlikely scenario. This brought me to the conclusion that this world has been invaded by a powerful force. Your condition only affirms that scenario." Raizel explains.

"Now then, go to meet our human spies and bring back this month's rations from them. After that, we will start fixing this problem which might take a few days to a few weeks." Raizel says. Yumina nods and leaves the hut.

'I have been running low on myriad units lately, two sets Seraphim and Nephilim lineages would be great replenishment for my myriad unit reserves. Additionally, the will mark of fortune in Yumina would be a large bonus.' Raizel planned mentally. This was like a blessing in disguise for Raizel.

Raizel felt a deja vu like feeling swelling up inwardly, he was fully aware of his hypocritic self. Because the Fae's situation is just like him in the past. Zena, who technically was Raizel's clone, betrayed him for Universe Will and Yumina is betraying the Fae for Raizel.

But Raizel had no qualms with this as he felt the severity of this situation, to him it felt like someone was using his tactics against the poor Fae of this world.

'What an uncanny irony this is.' Raizel thought as the l.u.s.tful moans outside permeated the entire village. A fierce mating season for all his pets had just begun.
