Naturally, Saksham was unaware of her thinking, but he was slowly getting suspicious about why Anitha would not take any interest in things like bags and clothes. But seeing her repeatedly denying buying anything, Saksham also understood that she was trying to save money. This made his heart warm and also made him want to buy all the things in the world for this girl. He shook his head thinking why was she so stupid and cute at the same time.

Saksham suddenly stopped before a store which had many different types of watches. Under the doubtful eyes of Anitha, Saksham pulled her into the store. As soon as they entered the store, a woman dressed as a store clerk walked towards them and said, "h.e.l.lo, sir. How am I help you?"

"Can you show us a pair of couple's watch?" Saksham said.

"Of course, sir. Please follow me," said the woman.

Saksham took the lead and pulled Anitha with him. Soon, they reached in front of the counter and the woman took out 2 wooden boxes and showed it to Saksham. Before Anitha could say anything, Saksham said, "These look pretty Ok. Do you have something else that looks more 'premium' and beautiful? My price range is not that small. So, you can get something better."

Hearing this, the woman paused for second before she smiled and said, "I think I know what sir wants. Wait a minute. I have just something that would satisfy you, sir."

Then, the woman went deeper inside the store and brought back 2 wooden boxes. Just looking at those boxes gave the thought of 'this looks expensive'. She presented the boxes in front of Saksham and said, "Sir, these couple watches are limited edition watches made by one of the best brands in the world."

As she opened the boxes, both Saksham and Anitha were shocked by the beauty of the watches. Both the watches were in the shape of half hearts. If they were placed together, they would form a full heart. But that was not the main attraction. The gla.s.s and the design inside the watches were so delicate that it made one think of never wearing it so that it would not get destroyed. Seeing this, Saksham's eyes lit up and said, "Just these ones. Please pack these for us."

Anitha heard this and her face became pale. She didn't know what Saksham was doing, but she was sure that these watches were not cheap at all. And the woman's words made her sure of her guess.

"Sir, it will be a total of 650,000. With the 10% discount, it will be 585,000. Would you make the payment in cash or with the card?"

"I will make the payment with the card," Saksham said.

Saksham then handed her the card. After typing the pa.s.sword, Saksham got the receipt of the transaction. Then, Saksham took the 2 wooden boxes and pulled the stunned Anitha out of the store. After walking a distance, Saksham pulled Anitha to sit down on a bench. After opening the boxes, Saksham took Anitha's hand and carefully put one half of the heart on her hand. While wearing his own, Saksham said, "I know you have many questions and I want to answer all of those but now is not the time. All I can tell you is that the money is not stolen from the home and nor is it something I got from the dirty business. I earned it myself with my hard work. When the time comes, I will naturally tell you but not now."

Anitha looked at Saksham's serious face for a while before she took Saksham's right hand and kissed the back of his hand. She smiled and said, "I believe you. I will wait as long as you want. Anyways, I am all yours for the rest of my life."

As he heard this, Saksham's felt his eyes getting wet by the heartfelt words by Anitha. He shut his eyes for a while so that they won't fall down. After his agitated emotions calmed down, he opened his eyes and looked at Anitha's gentle eyes. Looking at the obsessive look from Saksham's face, Anitha blushed as she rolled her eyes and said, "What are you doing looking at me? I am hungry you know?"

Hearing this, Saksham still didn't stop looking at Anitha and said, "So am I, but I really want to eat the lamb in front of me. I wonder how would she taste."

As Saksham's words fell, he saw Anitha's face getting red till her neck. Suddenly, Anitha fiercely pulled Saksham's ears and said, "What did you say? I didn't hear that properly. Can you repeat that again?"

Although it didn't hurt him even a little bit, Saksham's still pretended to be in great pain as he begged, "I am really sorry! Ahhhh! Don't pull them anymore! They might just come out if you continue pulling. Please! Forgive me!"

Anitha looked at Saksham with a speechless look on her face. In fact, she really hadn't pulled his ears that hard. She just wanted to scare him but this guy's Oscar level acting made her guilty for no reason. She even doubted if she pulled his ears a bit too hard. When she took her hands off his ears, she saw that his crying still didn't stop. Only then she realized that it was all an act. Not hearing any movement from Anitha, Saksham opened his eyes and saw Anitha sitting with her arms crossed and a speechless look on her face. He suddenly realized why he felt nothing even when Anitha pulled his ears. This made his thick face to blush with embarra.s.sment.

Wiping his non-existent tears, Saksham coughed and pretended as if nothing happened. He then pointed at a restaurant near them and said, "We both are hungry, so how about we eat there?"

Anitha looked at Saksham's blus.h.i.+ng face with interest and smiled, "Alright, let's go."
