9 Founding The Mind - Chapter 9

"You'd better get out of here now. I'm not going to hurt you unless you bother me."

Elisa made a confirmation sign with her head, and she started walking away after lifting Manar without saying anything.

They started to walk towards to forest. But at that time an uninvited guest showed up. It was naturally the "Direwolf"

Elisa, she swallowed. Manar took a deep breath and spoke.

"This is a Direwolf, we need more than four Hunters to kill him!"

Brion looked at Direwolf and started talking.

"Do you don't like them ?"

This time, Brion's words were understood by Direwolf. Direwolf just made a sign of gentle approval with his head.

Brion smiled and spoke after looking at Elisa.

"He says he doesn't like you. Why?"

Brion knew it was unnecessary to ask such a question.

He just wanted to have an idea of the characters of the people in this new place.

Elisa and Manar looked at each other with this question. And then Elisa started talking.

"The Direwolves constantly attack our village, and they and us people fight all the time, my lord.

Direwolf was only 10 meters apart from the Elisa and Manar.

He was preparing to make a quick leap as he understood a little bit from what Elisa said.

Brion, on the other hand, raised his hand lightly and whispered looking carefully at Direwolf.

"Stop"

Direwolf was prepared to attack. But after Brion said to him "Stop", he felt he had to stop and retreated one to two meters back.

Elisa and Manar weren't stupid.

They knew it was not logical for a Direwolf not to attack when they saw themselves, even though they weren't very experienced hunters.

They can understand that much of it.

Direwolf, who was also about to attack, for some reason, retreated because the man in front of them said so.

Elisa had already begun to fear and respect Brion at the same time.

The powers he had weren't normal. It wasn't normal compared to even a wizard.

When Elisa and Manar was a child, the adults from the village read them books about the mages.

Of course, they were only legends not real books but. Every one of the books they heard said:

"the mages are master of elements sometimes death and life".

Manar understood why Elisa told him not to say anything directly when he woke up.

If he said something strange to this guy in front of him and he got angry, he could move on to destroy themselves and the village without thinking.

,

Brion, after a while, started talking to Direwolf.

"We didn't get off to a very good start. But how about living with me."

Direwolf, when he heard these words, looked around lightly and made a sign of approval with his head.

When he was looking at the Brion his eyes were in a normal and absent-minded state.

But every time Direwolf looked at Elisa and Manar, anger started to appear in his eyes.

Brion, who had seen this situation, smiled and thought.

"There must be a problem between humans and this Direwolves.

That's why, Direwolf, get angry when looking at these hunter humans"

Brion looked to Elisa and Manar because he didn't want to waste any more time and started to spoke.

"Why are you still here? You have to go now. Don't worry, Direwolf won't attack you."

Elisa and Manar came to themselves with these words and began to move away slowly.

As they walked away, they were constantly looking back and examining Direwolf's movements.

A few minutes later, Elisa and Manar were far enough away from the Direwolf.

Brion began to speak after careful looking at Direwolf.

"You can't get within 10 meters of me. You're not going to cross that distance unless I call you, okay?

Direwolf, like a normal dog, made a sign of approval with his head lightly and sat on the floor.

Brion went into the woods alone, and again this time he found three-legged chickens without much difficulty, and he quickly killed two of them with a stick he ripped off from the branches.

Under normal circ.u.mstances, He could kill them with his Mind Power using a different kind of abilities.

But he didn't think it was necessary to do something like that.

He thought it is more important to use his abilities when he needed.

Brion, exactly within half an hour, came back to the area where the river was located.

Direwolf was sitting there waiting for him. Brion threw one of his three-legged chicken towards Direwolf.

Direwolf grabbed the chicken directly with his mouth and began to eat quickly.

Then, strangely, a smile appeared on his face.

Brion understood that Direwolf's perspective for him changed when he gave him food.

Brion couldn't stop thinking.

"Sometimes animals get cleaner and purer than humans. I showed him my strength, I earned his respect. Then I gave him food and earned his love."

,

Brion, along with these thoughts, began to move towards the cave.
