" I almost forget it " Hayato turns to see Maya, Alyra, and Dye to then he makes hand seals " Kage Buns.h.i.+n No Jutsu (Shadow Clone Jutsu) " *PUFF* a clone appears next to Hayato and he says " " He will stay here, as I said before, he will watch over you " Hayato turned around and jumped to the top of a tree nearby to then jump to the next one and so on until he disappeared from the sight of the three women

" The Vampire Vine will make this mission more dangerous than we thought, I don't know why Hayato accepted this mission " Alyra had a very worried expression

Maya shakes her head while she was seeing in the direction were Hayato went " We can't do nothing, I still don't recover my energy, I can't help him like this "

Alyra sees Maya's back and she notices that she was shaking a little ' Maya must want to go with him, I... Hayato jumped a couple of trees more until saw a stone path ' A path? in the middle of the swamp? ' The stone path has some vines above it and it goes at the same direction where the Banshee supposed to be

After kept jumping on the threes following the stone path, Hayato arrived at an abandoned village, Hayato jumped from the tree to the center of the village and saw a few destroyed statues, buildings made with wood or stone and some stone pillars laying all over the place and all of them were surrounded by the vines

' What the h.e.l.l happened here? it's because of the vines or the Banshee? Hmm? ' When Hayato was seeing the place he saw what it looks like a destroyed temple the vines didn't even approach the temple, Hayato went inside the temple just for curiosity but on the altar, he saw a white figure.

The temple has the floor covered with stones and some benches destroyed, the roof was made with wood but it had holes where the light of the moon can enter, the light of the moon illuminates the white figure that was sitting on her knees with her back against Hayato

' That's...!? ' Hayato surprises and he made hand seals quickly creating two clones that left the temple, the white figure doesn't move after Hayato created the clones

Hayato walked slowly towards the white figure with only his Sharingan activated, when he was few meters near the altar he could see the figure. It was a woman with pure white hair and a long white dress, she had a bright white skin and she was moving more like a swing back and forward in a very subtle way

Hayato turns to see the ground for a second checking if there is any vine near him but when he turned to see the woman again she was already seeing him with very empty eyes. She was beautiful at the point that Hayato opened his mouth with amazement, her eyes were grey and some strands of her hair were hanging in front of her face, she tilts her head to the left while she was seeing him

Hayato activated his Demoniac Transformation ' The Banshee, the description fits her perfectly ' Hayato takes out his katana and he covers it with his Chidori

The Banshee stands up like floating, her dress and her hair began to move like they were being moved by the wind, the Banshee saw Hayato with a calm face but she doesn't move

Hayato smirks under his mask and *ZOOM* the clones appeared from the roof at both sides of the Banshee, one with a Rasengan in each hand and the other one with his body covered with the Raiton Chakura Mōdo (Lightning Style Armour) and a Rasenshuriken in his right hand

The clones were falling against the banshee and when they were about to impact her *SWOOSH* the Banshee vanished to appear at the right side the clones and Hayato open their eyes with surprise then *SWOOSH* the Banshee vanished again, appearing behind the clones when they were at mid-air

*PUFF* *PUFF* The Banshee stabbed the backs of the clones with her hands destroying them immediately

' What the h.e.l.l what's that! ' Hayato made a surprised face ' She moved in a second! it's movement technique that said on the quest request!? ' The Banshee kept seeing Hayato with cold eyes even when she destroyed the clones. The Banshee lands on the altar and she opens her mouth in an impossible way, her beautiful face changed to a ghostly face. her skin hangs from his face revealing some parts of his skull, she has an empty socket and a white putrid eye

" GYAAAA!!!!! " The Banshee screams with great force, destroying the ground under her and the temple, sending pieces of the structure on Hayato's direction

" Aack! " Hayato covers his ears pained expression as he falls on her knees to then lay his head to the ground. Some rocks and sticks. .h.i.t him a few times making his head bleed

Outside of the swamp Alyra and Maya were sitting cross-legged trying to recover their energy faster, Dye, on the other hand, was standing next to Hayato's clone watching the swamp until...

" GYAAAA!!!!! " they heard a powerful scream coming from the swamp "...!? " they turn to see in the direction where the scream comes from with faces full of shock then *PUFF* Hayato's clone disappeared a few seconds later

Dye turns to see Maya and Alyra with surprise and says " What happened to him!? he disappeared after that loud scream! "

Alyra gets up and saw the swamp with a tense face " T-The scream of the Banshee caused that...? I read that the scream is capable of killing someone at short range, but why Hayato's clone disappeared? " Dye makes a surprised face when she heard Alyra

Maya has a pale face while she is seeing the swamp then she begins to run towards the swamp to then jump to a tree just like Hayato didn't before

Alyra makes a surprised face and yells " Maya, no!! " then she goes after her

" Grr " Dye frowned and she transformed into a divine beast chasing for both of them

The Banshee is flying high, she doesn't have a scratch from Hayato's attack and " The one that everyone hates " The Banshee spoke with a terrifying voice that sounds like an eco, her voice can make an adult man feel chills

" Stupid Monster! you finally talk! " Hayato yelled with anger and he throws a kunai on the air, Hayato covers his katana with his Chidori activating his Demoniac Transformation and Raiton Chakura Mōdo (Lightning Style Armour)

The Banshee blinks again and evades the kunai face then Hayato teleported ' Let's see if this works! ' Hayato raises his left arm aiming at the Banshee and " Chidori Eisō! (Chidori Sharp Spear) " the lightning spear moves faster against but she vanishes like before

Hayato covers his katana with his Chidori and *SWOOSH* he swings his katana behind him " GYAA! " the Banshee makes a pained scream after Hayato cut part of her stomach

" You are predictable, stupid monster! " Hayato starts to fall from the sky. He is falling directly towards some vines " Sh*t " he throws his katana to the ground near the vines and Hayato lands on his katana to then jump to a nearby tree ' She tried to attack me like my clones, if she had attacked me with that scream again, maybe I would be dead '

The Banshee has her white dress cut and she have a noticeable cut on her stomach too, she sees Hayato coldly and speaks again " You are the cause of the death of your parents " and she descends until she was inches above a vine

' Grr, Syt, buy me the Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu! (Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu) '

Hayato starts to make hand seals with an angered expression *PUFF* *PUFF* *PUFF* he create 3 more clones all with the Demoniac Transformation and Raiton Chakura Mōdo (Lightning Style Armour) then they begin to make hand seals ' I have to deal with those stupid vines ' Hayato start to throw a lot of his katanas to the ground

I was trying to catch Maya, but she is faster than me, to the point that she is disappearing from my sight ' Why she is so fast!? she is still as tired as me and still...! '

I started to feel frustrated but then I felt that something grabbed me from behind and the next moment I was riding a huge hairy back " Dye! " I said with surprise

Dye was carrying me on her back as she was jumping from tree to tree " Why didn't you obeyed Hayato!? " Dye sounds really angry and she continues " Do you know that if you two are going to help him like that, you just going to be a burden? "

Dye surprised me and I bowed my head with shame and I say her " I-I just wanted to catch Maya "

" Hmph " Dye snorts and says " You can't-fool me, I know that you wanted to go too "

When we arrived at the edge of the trees we saw the battlefield, A part of the swamp is burning, almost as if a wave of fire had pa.s.sed there, there are some Vampire Vines on the ground and a lot of swords standing still around the place all of them look like Hayato's sword

" What are you doing here?! " Hayato yelled with surprise, he was standing on the handle of a sword

The Banshee raises her hand against Maya *SWOOSH* *PUFF* but a clone teleported between them and uses his body as a s.h.i.+eld before she stabbed Maya

Maya falls above a Vampire Vine and the sticky gum starts to envolve her back " Ack..! " Maya makes a pained expression and struggles to get up but now her arms are trapped too

" d.a.m.n it! " Hayato jumps towards her using the swords, meanwhile two clones distracted the Banshee

I jumped too but Dye grabs my sweater with her mouth again, I turn to see her with disbelief and say " What are you doing Dye! let me go! I have to help her! "

" No! Hayato has enough trouble with her! " Dye sounds really angry and she launches me to her back, I stayed on Dye's back shaking with frustration

Hayato covers his katana with lightning and *SWOOSH* *CLANK* he tried to cut the vine that was grabbing Maya but it only makes a small damage

" d.a.m.n it!! " Hayato yelled and Maya starts to look paler and weaker

" They will betray you sooner or later and you know it " The Banshee spoke sending a chill through my spine, she is talking despite she is fighting the two clones

" I told you to shut up! " Hayato yelled and removes his mask, I can see that he is bleeding from his ears, then he closes his left eye and blood starts to come out from his eye " Amaterasu! " and a black flame appears on his sword then *SWOOSH* he cuts both sides of the Vampire Vine making the gum dried ' That black flame appeared after he opened his eye but if he bleeds that means that is harmful to him '

Maya looks really tired, then Hayato throws his burning sword to the side and carries Maya like a princess, he has his left eye closed with a pained expression ' I knew it! that technique must be very painful to him '

" GYAA!! " *PUFF* *PUFF* The Banshee screamed again and the two clones that were fighting her explode. I cover my ears and Dye bows her head, with narrow eyes I saw Hayato using his body to protect Maya from the shockwave and he bleeds more from his ears " Why don't you try to suicide again " the Banshee spoke again

" What? " I have an incredulous expression and I turn to see Hayato with fear and I saw Maya looking at him just like me, I'm sure that Dye is doing the same

Hayato frowns as he was kneeling on the ground then he yells " Dye! come for her, I'm going to destroy this monster now! " Dye jumped from the tree with me in her back, she landed in front of Hayato and he puts Maya on her back

I see Hayato with worry " Hayato I... " but he responds with a very cold voice " Go away " and he starts to move her hands as always do before an attack and he says " Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu! (Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu) " and various Dragon shape flames went towards the Banshee

I see him with sadness and Dye jumped back to the trees. After we took some distance none of us said a single word, I can't cure Maya only time can help her, then *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* I turned around and I saw multiple lightning flashes appearing on the sky, Maya who has a tiered face saw that too and with a soft voice she says " Kirin " and what happened next is something I will never forget

Hayato was throwing Kunais to the Banshee and all of them were evaded by her, but Hayato was just counting ' She only can move fast three times after that she has to wait for 1 minute to do it again '

Hayato made a clone to distract her and he finally starts to make hand seals ' This will be the first time that I will use this Jutsu after that I will become really tired '

The clone made the Banshee retreat enough until she destroyed him " Maya's love is fake " said the Banshee with a soft but a loud voice

Hayato smirks and yells " Let's see if you keep talking after this! " Hayato covers his left hand with his Chidori and then he jumps to the top of the tree, raising his left hand to the air *RUMBLE* *RUMBLE* the sky was covered with lightning and then Hayato says with a smile " Come! " his Chidori shoots up to the sky and *RUMBLE* " ROARR!! " A huge Dragon made with lightning took form on the sky even the Banshee sees it with shock

Hayato chuckles a little and says " Now try to evade this! " *RUMBLE* " ROOAARR!!! " The Dragon ascends and then he moves his hand down *BOOM* The dragon takes the form of huge lightning and falls above the Banshee. She didn't have the time to move

The place where the Banshee was blown up to pieces, leaving just a huge crater and then Hayato hear
