34 I'll Be Back For The Principal

Showing a wry smile, a man with a head full of white hair sighed and said, "That one is a good seedling, Clan Head. But G.o.d knows why he is thinking that an orphan has a strong backing."

Shaking his hand, the Hao Clan's head got ready to send the elder away when someone forced their way inside the room.

Approaching the Clan Head before he could react, the one who entered the room, who was another elder of the clan looked as if he had just seen his wife being ravaged by a hundred men and she enjoyed it.

"What happened, third elder? Why are you looking so heartbroken?"

Not knowing what to say, the third elder stretched his hand and gave the Clan Leader a piece of paper.

[This is just the interest. I'll be back for the princ.i.p.al - Yang Shen]

"Yang Shen? Another one? Is this name in trend now? What is this interest he's talking about? And who is he anyway?"

Shaking his head, the third elder with a face full of sorrow said, "I'm afraid it's the same Yang Shen, Chu Hao was talking about."

Continuing to speak while the Clan Head started frowning, the third elder shared the news which had him looking like that.

"The Spirit Stone mine we discovered…. Is completely empty. That Yang Shen took all the Spirit Stones away!"

"WHAT?!!"

Nodding his head weakly, the third elder looked like he couldn't believe what he was saying either.

"Are you speaking the truth? But how… It's impossible for anyone to excavate the mine so quickly!"

Shaking his head with a face full of despair, the third elder repeatedly confirmed that what he was speaking was the truth since not even an elder would dare lie about anything related to Spirit Stone mine. And after receiving the news, the sixth elder had personally gone and confirmed that all the news they received was the truth.

Considering that it would be too much of a coincidence for there to be two Yang Shen's who were going against his Hao Clan at the same time, all three people inside the room had a single thought going through their heads.

'Bring Hao Chu here!'

….

Roarrrr!!!!

"Grrr!"

Gritting his teeth, Yang Shen hastily retreated while using the force from the impact to aid his movement.

Sliding his feet across the solid ground, Yang Shen felt his back slamming into a tree.

"Ugh…"

Groaning loudly as he found there was no way for him to retreat, or a path to escape, Yang Shen looked towards the huge bear which was standing on its hind legs and looking towards him with a greedy look.

Starting at its paws which were so sharp that they covered his Giant Wolf's Fang in half inch scratches, Yang Shen despite feeling unwilling to pulled up his status and looked towards the upgrade b.u.t.ton beside his cultivation which was no longer greyed out.

Having spent 10 Points to comprehend the Primordial Nine Suns Technique Part 2, and spent almost the entire past month in cultivating while using it, with how much XP he had right now, Yang Shen was sure that his strength could skyrocket in a single instant and allow him to get rid of the Low Level Profound Beast in front of him with ease.

But, having discovered how mistaken he was about his own strength after surviving an entire month on his own inside the forest, Yang Shen didn't want to increase his cultivation once again unless he had no other choice.

Therefore, to Yang Shen who didn't want to increase his cultivation before he got used to his current cultivation, he couldn't help but hesitate on whether he should upgrade his cultivation or not.

After all, he had managed to escape so many Low Level Profound Beasts in the one month he spent inside this forest. So what was to say that he wouldn't be able to do so again?

To understand everything that was happening, one would need to find out what happened inside that cave on that day after Yang Shen touched a huge Spirit Stone.

...

[Discovered a huge load of Spirit Stones!]

[Host can choose one of the options regarding what to do with the vein of Spirit Stones.]

[1. Spend 5,000 Points and obtain all of the Spirit Stones

2. Sell the Spirit Stones to the system and purchase any item worth 10,000 Points or lower from the shop.]

Reading the completely unexpected messages, Yang Shen quickly asked, "How many points are all of the Spirit Stones here worth?"

[15,761 Points.]

Replying clearly and straight to the point, the system didn't share any useless information and allowed Yang Shen to make a choice.

Putting aside that he had no way of picking the first option in his current situation, Yang Shen who felt relieved that picking the second option wouldn't mean he would lose anything picked the second option right away.

The moment he did that, a glow started spreading from his hand and quickly covered the huge rock he was touching. Next, the pale glow spread under the ground and began popping up all over the cave wherever there were spirit stones.

Once the glow covered all the spirit stones inside the cave, the visible ones and the ones deep under the ground, the spirit stones disappeared in less time than it took for one to blink their eyes.

Using those 10,000 Points, Yang Shen showed zero hesitation and purchased the Part 2 of the Primordial Nine Suns Technique since that was the only way for him to increase his cultivation.

As soon as he purchased the technique and learnt the manual, Yang Shen was filled with the desire to increase his cultivation and destroy the Hao Clan right away.

However such thoughts disappeared the very instant they entered Yang Shen's head.

Remembering how that person who seemed more like a snake rather than a human treated him, and all the words he had spoken, Yang Shen understood that for someone of his cultivation level, his combat capabilities were very low.

That was why he planned on increasing his understanding of his strength first, and only after that would he think about increasing his cultivation.

Since that day, Yang Shen who left the cave after leaving behind a letter which could be found by anyone as long as they weren't blind, spent the following month of his life inside the forest which was the only thing he could find after walking out of the cave's entrance.
