Irene contemplates, before lifting her head and looking directly into my eyes.

"We are in that stage?" She asks

"Are we not? We did just kiss. I can't let you just take advantage of my body like that you have to take responsibility!"

She covers my mouth with her hands, not letting me speak and looks at me angrily

"Can you not be so loud? What if my parents hear?"

I nod my head in agreement and she lets go.

"Irene, I like you. I'm certain. but you aren't yet certain of me. I understand. Won't you give me the chance to turn this prove myself?"

I wait patiently for her answer. What is only a few seconds seems like an eternity before a mouse like voice.

".....Okay"

She agreed, I resist all temptation to pick her up and twirl her around. That would be a little over dramatic.

Who would have believed that I would be in a some relations.h.i.+p with Irene the man slayer!

"But on one condition" She adds next

She looks at my excited expression and seems to find it cute.

Who would I tell anyway? Not like I have people who I consider friends around me. And given how I just got the guys in cla.s.s to like me today. I wouldn't want to stir the hornet's next of jealousy so soon after mending the fence.

I just realize we are standing in the road. Not the most Ideal of places for a love story to begin but if I'm ever asked how my first love went. I will say that it was like it was straight out of a fairy tale.

Irene then grabs my hand tighter. We interlock fingers and feel each others temperature. But before we can enjoy the moment longer, the gate swings open.

Irene hurriedly shakes off my hand and steps a few meters back

"Unnie, when are you coming in?"

*Phew* Thank G.o.d it was only Chae-hyun and not Mr or Mrs Bae.

We look to each other and both see the relief in each others eyes. We laugh for a second and Chae-hyun seems confused.

"Yeah i'm heading in now, i was just talking with Dylan about school okay"

"Hurry then, mom said she needs your help"

"Be right there"

And with that the little messenger heads back inside. Irene faces towards me.

"Well, I have to go inside now"

"Yeah, you do" I'm somewhat disappointed.

Dang and just when the mood was getting good!

"Call me tonight"

My eyes say did I just hear that correctly? I look towards her and as if to confirm my doubts. She repeats

"Call me"

"Huh, you want... me... to call you?

"Why do you think I gave you my number?" She says gigglingly "Aren't we a 'some' , if you are not going to call me who are you going to call? now get going"

I suppose she's right.

I head straight home after saying goodbye.

I'm beat. It was a long day. I got up at 7 am , played a lot and had fun with Chae-hyun and at 6 pm , I got into a some relations.h.i.+p with Irene. A lot happened today.

I decide to take a quick shower and order something to eat. There's nothing in my cupboards, I really need to go shopping. About an hour later the delivery guy arrives and I eat. Feeling full I see the time is 8 pm already.

I decide it would be better if I first send her text before calling, what if she's busy with her family or in the shower.

In the end it takes 3 attempts and a proof-read before I press send.
