He created a pillar of sand that shot out of the ground. The ground shrunk around the pillar as sand caught Leo with the usage of Solomon's magic circle.

Leo noticed that the demons didn't follow him. They hissed at Leo from the wall.

'Oh yeah,' Leo remembered, 'They can't leave the city without calling a wind pillar down...'

Leo shook the sand off of his black coat and put from between the crevices of his body.

He winced from the pain of his broken bones after his adrenaline calmed down, and he collapsed on the ground. He wished he was better at the void magic "mend" while he pieced together the bones of his body. He gave up on mend, and decided to lay down on his back, while he howled in pain.

Meanwhile, Ahab and Bazeel watched from the terrace of Ahab's palace the execution of Solomon.
