28 Mariotte 2

The good news was, from what Ci-ci could tell, whoever left the flowers also set the cameras at the very same time. The only time they could have done so was after Milana left for Ci-ci's house last night, or else Milana would have noticed the flowers earlier. The bad news was that it took most of the day for Ci-ci to calm Milana's anxiety.

The difference between having your office violated and your home was on two completely different levels. Milana was already uncomfortable enough without this having happened, and that wasn't even considering the fact this b.a.s.t.a.r.d had the audacity to try and film her.

This Abram Latka wasn't even a person Milana knew well. He was just a young man whose father often did business with hers. Although he'd made pa.s.ses at her before, he never crossed a line and Milana never reciprocated. For him to so blatantly do this now, it was really mind boggling.

Every time Ci-ci thought it through, his hands tightened more and more on his steering wheel. 'I'd really like to see who dares play tricks on my woman like this.'

At the moment, as no surprise to anyone who knew him, Ci-ci was pulling up to the Mariotte. He wasn't in his Lucius Grant disguise, but was rather the infamous Ci-ci Bell. His Lucius Grant persona couldn't afford to get into any trouble, but the same wasn't true for Ci-ci Bell who was already seen as public enemy number one.

After easing Milana's mind and ensuring her that his home was the safest place on the planet, he told her that he had to go to the firm. In fact, he didn't lie. He should have been at the firm all day today, dealing with the merger business. However, he ignored all of that to directly come to the Mariotte.

The Mariotte was a chain of luxury clubs. Normally, The Mariotte located in Algood City was far too low-cla.s.s for Ci-ci to go to considering it was labelled as a Bronze Mariotte, however, today, he made an exception.

Just like many other luxury clubs, members.h.i.+p Mariottes were quite exclusive and expensive. However, unlike other franchises, the Mariotte pa.r.s.ed their clubs by levels to allow those of lesser background to enjoy slightly toned-down versions of their services.

In the end, this business model did them well, granting them a far larger clientele while also giving the top percent a feeling of superiority.

Let alone a Bronze Mariotte, Ci-ci had a members.h.i.+p card to enter any Gold Mariotte he so chose. In truth, he could have had Diamond access as well, but he found it unnecessary. He had only gotten the Gold Members.h.i.+p to begin with as a gift to his students, he hardly used it himself.

Of course, as a Gold Member, Ci-ci could enter any lower ranked establishments as he pleased.

Ci-ci hopped out of his Vintage: Aston Martin DBS Superleggera before tossing the keys to the valet and following the red carpet toward the doors.

The valet blinked when he saw Ci-ci's sharply dressed visage, shocked by the fact he recognized the face. Who wouldn't recognize the infamous Ci-ci Bell at this point?!

The uniformed valet didn't dare to be negligent. After parking Ci-ci's car, he sprinted at his fastest speeds to his manager, knowing he had to report this.

Ci-ci was completely oblivious to this, but he had a good guess that it would happen. By now, he was already walking in through the doors and being greeted by two scantily clad young women.

The inside of the Mariotte was a sea of velvety, high cla.s.s reds. The lobby could be cla.s.sified as bustling, but it was mostly held to reserved conversations between small groups of individuals.

There was an elegant, stainless steel themed restaurant to the right, while there was what seemed to be a gambling area and casino to the left. The large receptionist desk was straight ahead, splitting the paths to the elevators and the hotel rooms above perfectly down the middle.

When the two female attendants saw Ci-ci, they gasped, their heart beats involuntarily quickening. They didn't immediately recognize him, but rather found that this man was far too handsome and refined. Although there were many high-cla.s.s individuals here, it was definitely not to this level. It wasn't until after Ci-ci presented his members.h.i.+p card that a flash of realization crossed their beautiful eyes.

Ci-ci smiled lightly. "Ladies, I'm actually here to meet a friend. Could you escort me to the VIP room held by an Abram Latka? If you need to contact him first, that's fine. Just tell him that Milana is here to see him."

"No need, no need." The two of them answered hurriedly, thanking their lucky stars that they were the first to find Ci-ci. However, only time would tell if they felt that way by the end of the night.

The two politely led Ci-ci forward, not thinking that a Golden Members.h.i.+p holder could ever be lying to them.

In a backroom of the Mariotte, an area reserved for staff to take lunch breaks, socialize, and also the best place to find this branch's manager, a sweaty valet boy rushed into what should have been a locked office.

"AH!" A shriek sounded out as soon as the door banged open. A beauty of decent looks scurried up, running out of the door half dressed and with an odd, half opaque liquid running down the side of her mouth and cheek.

Seeing the angered face of a chubby man sitting behind a large desk, the young valet suddenly broke out into a cold sweat that overwhelmed his fatigue.

"Manager, I – I."

"SPIT IT OUT!" The chubby man raged, his mood completely ruined.

"Ci-ci Bell is here!"

The chubby man started. "Who?"

"Ci-ci Bell!"

To say the chubby man was surprised was an understatement, he couldn't help but lean back into his chair and ponder a bit.

In the end, he grinned, laughing uproariously. "Good. Good! I'll add a little something to your end of year bonus! This isn't an opportunity that we can miss!"
