Chapter 247: What's Happening To Me?

Noticing these abrupt changes, his eyebrows rose upward in surprise as he sat in his previous location cross-legged before closing his eyes entirely.

'What's happening to me?' He thought simultaneously.

The moment his eyes were shut, his awareness drifted into every single part of his body in order to unravel the current situation of his physique.

However, what he witnessed next made his heart immediately sink as his whole body couldn't stop trembling for some time.

'Oh no, this is bad… if this…' This line showed up inside his mind next.

He was slightly trembling because he realized the Dark Dragon's Metamorphosis Revolution had started to rotate by itself without any kind of prompt from his side!

This could be said to be the very first time for something like this to happen because, before today, he always had to separate a bit of his focus and attention to revolve it non-stop most of the time.

But now, it was as if it had obtained a consciousness of its own as it rotated faster and faster!

What made Virus' whole body shake though, was the fact that very soon, the speed of the rotation was so fast that in just a split second, the Dark Dragon's Metamorphosis Revolution had rotated almost a thirty times!

And rotating that much in such a short period meant that startling energy was being transferred to all over his figure.

Also, as a result of that, the temperature of his physique began to rise to a terrifying degree.

Gradually, steam started to rise from all over his physical body. His skin and deeper within his whole body also slowly lit up in bright yellowish-orange light just like magma and it intensified at every second.

"Ahh…"

However, this still wasn't the end. Because, accompanying the terrifying temperature, a horrifying sensation of pain also rose in every single part of his being, forcing even Virus who didn't bat an eye even at the expense of the harshest of torments to let out a moan of agony.

Seeing how painful and agonizing it was, Virus doubted that the outcome of this situation would be anything but good. So, in order to make sure about the situation and to unveil the truth, focusing all of his attention inside his physique, a realization hit him.

He noticed that every single cell inside his body was dying one after another due to experiencing the tormenting heat which even his tempered cells couldn't tolerate.

If this process went on, he knew the eventual outcome of this would be the death of every single cell within his body which would ultimately lead to his death. True death.

So, making a strong resolve, he made the decision to stop this whole process no matter what, 'I have to put an end to this. Otherwise… I would die.'

And so, he tried to stop the rotation with his own control.

However, the moment he tried to stop the revolution, a backlash struck at his internal organs. In that instant, his innards felt as if they had been hit by a truck as he promptly coughed up a mouthful of blood.

Moreover, the rotation didn't budge in the least and intensified instead. By now, the Dark Dragon's Metamorphosis Revolution was rotating almost 60 times every second.

Seeing this result and the consequence of his action, Virus clearly understood that trying to stop this procedure would kill him sooner than the rotation itself, so he knew attempting to end the operation was not one of his options anymore.

'I can only tolerate and futilely pray that the revolution won't kill me.' As this notion appeared in his head, he immediately calmed himself before persisting through the agony while gritting his teeth. His closed eyes s.h.i.+ning with some light of despair.

Unfortunately, in less than two minutes, he was no longer able to bear the frightening pain.

"Ahh…"

At almost every second, he would yelp in a low tone before going quiet.

In five minutes, even he was no longer able to grit his teeth and persist through the torture. He began to pointlessly scream non-stop in an attempt to psychologically alleviate the pain in order to release some of the pressure that would drive anyone crazy.

Two minutes later, even his bright silver hair was no longer able to endure the heat as it gradually turned into dust and vanished, making Virus entirely bald. The rotating technique was also making 100 cycles at every second now. Furthermore, shockingly, Virus realized that the Synchronous Transformations Crystal had also shrunk a bit.

By now, almost ninety-five percent of the cells throughout his whole body was no longer alive, truly dead. The orifices throughout his whole body were also bleeding without any end to them.

Currently, the pain was so grievous and disturbing that in case it was a normal human being, that person would've long fainted. However, soaked in blood and sweat that vaporized instantly, Virus was different.

The steaming had also reached its most intense state as he was literally surrounded in fog. His whole body was also extremely thin as he had lost a lot of weight already.

"Ahhhhhhhhh…"

'Am I really going to die just like this? For me to travel through time only to die by a random technique? What a joke! Sigh…' He couldn't stop this thought from showing up.

Three minutes later, all of the cells in his entire body were finally entirely lifeless as his body no longer had any sparks of life in it. Even his screams had stopped and his breathing was no more.

His corpse was also extremely dried up as if he was just a bony skeleton.

Hearing the previous screams, the golden beauty finally arrived into the area that was specifically prepared for her master only to see the horrifying state of Virus' dried up body which was soaked in his own blood.

"Master!!! What happened to you!!! Are you okay?" She screamed in the direction of Virus, only to hear nothing in response.

"Master?!?!? Ahhh…" She shouted in fear as she rushed to him before trying to feel his pulse. But, much to her horror, she realized her master Virus no longer had any heartbeats! Moreover, he was no longer breathing!

A river of tears promptly started to roll down her face as she continuously screamed and wailed, "Master!!! Master!!! Sob… Master!!! You can't leave me here! You can't… sob… leave me alone here… please… wuuuuu…"

However, no matter how she called out to him, she didn't receive any response from him as he stayed… dead.

"No… master… master… master won't die like this… it all must've been a part of his plan… yes… everything's within master's plans… so he should be fine soon… he will come back to life for sure…" Brokenly putting this sentence, the golden beauty uttered in despair. However, it was obvious she was only trying to bring some hope into herself, even though it was clear she was totally depairing.

'I should do a CPR on him!' As this solution popped up into her mind, she started doing CPR on him.

One minute…

Two minutes…

Three minutes…

Covered in tears, the golden beauty proceeded to do CPR on him. Unfortunately though, in the end, she realized it seemed her master was truly gone. So, stopping the pointless CPR which might hurt her master's remains, falling on her b.u.t.tocks, she sat there in an entirely motionless state while staring at her master's sorry corpse.
