"Hmm… the treasury? You mean the reward for your champions.h.i.+p? I don't really know… you should ask…" Just as he was about to finish his sentence, he was interrupted by someone's sudden appearance right beside them.

And the moment he realized who the other person was, bowing in respect, the judge elder uttered, "This elder greets the Sun elder!"

"Hmm…" Nodding his head in reply, the Sun elder voiced, "You may go now, I'll accompany and answer junior Vee's questions myself… also, notify the elder responsible for granting the rewards that I'll take the winners of both of the contests to the treasury myself… you're dismissed."

"Yes, Sun elder." Bowing once again in respect, the judge elder disappeared.

After the judge elder disappeared, changing the direction of his gaze toward Virus, a kind smile showed itself on his face as he began talking, "Junior Vee, you're truly a heaven-defying genius, I'm both honored and excited that our sect has the chance to come across a disciple like you!"

"Thank you." Virus replied casually as he was then about to continue with a question of his own, when the Sun elder proceeded, "Right, in our last meeting, you had made a promise to visit this oldie … and I've been looking forward to that day to arrive ever since… however, you still haven't made that visit… honestly, this makes this oldie a little sad…"

Listening to his words, Virus pondered a little awkwardly, 'Well… I was going to make a visit if I couldn't find any other alternative in order to gain access to the main treasury… but fortunately, the contests happened to be right around the corner… anyway, sorry I couldn't find the chance of tricking you into giving me that fruit, my bad.'

After this notion went through his head, looking at the Sun elder in front of him with a half-smile, he replied, "Unfortunately, I was too occupied with the contest… so I couldn't make that visit..."

"Is that so??? Then it's fine! I promise to consider your offer very seriously and provide you with an answer soon…"

These words of his basically meant that he would try his best to protect Virus from those who coveted his ring and completely understanding what the Sun elder was underlying by those words, Virus stated, "Okay, thank you… oh by the way, when are you going to take me and apprentice-sister to pick the item we desire from the main treasury?" Then, acting as if this was a totally random subject, Virus finally inquired about the most important thing he wanted to know about.

"Oh, right! Tell your senior apprentice-sister to come and I'll take you two to the treasury in order to receive your prize right away!" Wearing a grin that normally a kind elder would give to a junior he really cares about, the Sun elder responded.

'At last!' Thinking this, Virus stead, "Okay, please wait for a moment for me to change and call my apprentice-sister over…"

"Sure… no worries, I'll wait for you two outside."

After that, going to his own resting room, first, deactivating his ring, Virus changed into a new set of clothes before walking out of the room only to see that the golden beauty and Astes were already waiting for him right outside.

"Apprentice-sister… the Sun elder's waiting for us outside… he's going to take us to the main treasury." As Virus stated this, oddly, much to his surprise, he spotted a rather indistinct light of excitement pa.s.s through her eyes which disappeared immediately afterward.

'Could she be also after something in the main treasury?' Virus deliberated after spotting that momentary light inside Astes' eyes.
