53 Value Of Hardwork

Ziggy's pride fell. Did she just call him cheap? He was ready to barked back at her yet it was not the right time.

Patience. Ziggy. Patience. He said to himself.

He breathed a deep sigh before glancing to the bunch of flowers he was holding. He picked three from the bunch and tied it with a small knot. He also did the same with the rest.

"Here" he handed Sam the biggest bunch "This is how I value hard work"

Sam hesitantly accepted the flowers. She didn't want them but it was just a waste of time to argue over it. They were just a bunch of pretty flowers. Also, they were for her hard work. It was not as if he was giving it to her with some romance involved or something.

Seconds pa.s.sed and they were back to the street again. There was a vast silence inside the car hanging in the air like a smell of cordite. Ziggy was smiling devilishly on the steering wheel while Sam was still lost in her own thoughts staring at the bunch of flowers she placed on the dashboard.

It wasn't until they slowed down that Sam snapped back to reality. She turned her head to the window and realized they were heading toward a private property. The house in front of them was particularly big; bigger than the usual houses in Hamps.h.i.+re. Although she had seen houses more grand than this, she couldn't deny that this so far was one of the finest houses in town. Someone of good stature must be living here.

Before their car came to a full stop, she caught a view of Ziggy reflecting on her side of the window. He turned to her and when he saw that she wasn't looking at his side, he smirked.

Confused with her master's demeanor Sam turned to face him instantly and she saw how his face turned friendly.

"Just wait here. I don't wanna scare my date with a bodyguard" he said and left the car.

Sam gave him a thwarted look, but since Ziggy left hurriedly he didn't saw her obscure expression.

The master is up for something. What could it be?

Sam pulled down her windows and observed Ziggy as he went into the house's front doors, with him was the three flowers he knotted together. His face brightened when someone opened the door for him. He seemed to be so happy, but the happiness he had on his face was not something one person wore whenever they go out on a date. It was something one man wore when he won over a fight.

Was he playing game tonight? What type of game did he lay on for her? Obviously it was for her, because she seemed to be his favorite game play these past few days.

Sam scrutinized the surroundings and her eyes intuitively brought her to the second floor of the house where she saw a familiar silhouette peeking through one of the windows.

"Oh boy…" She mused to herself.

-------

Ziggy stood in the living room as he waited for his date. His face was full of eagerness. Eagerness not for his date, but for the look on Sam's face when she finds out who his date was. He just can't wait any minute longer!

"h.e.l.lo Young Sire…"

Ziggy looked up and saw a girl floating down the staircase. Her long curls was twisted at the back of her head elegantly showing off her slender, seductive neck. Her make-up was heavy matching her black tight dress which showed her long legs that looked slim and tanned. She was stunningly pretty.

"You are ever gorgeous Sabina" Ziggy said as the girl planted a kiss on his cheeks.

"I'm sorry to have made you wait" She said flas.h.i.+ng a smile that had lured a pretty good number of men.

"I don't mind at all" Ziggy answered. "These are for you"

Sabina glowed more as soon as Ziggy handed him the three red roses. She found it very romantic. Of course she was accustomed to men giving her bunch of stuff, but something from the famous Montreal was something worth dying for.

"So sweet of you Young Sire. I thought you don't like following norms" her eyes were sparkling at the sight of the pretty roses. Everyone in town knew the Young Sire don't like throwing his girls anything traditional; like flowers and chocolates.

"I don't. Except on some rare occasions" Ziggy answered in a rather nonchalance way. "Shall we?" he asked and escorted Sabina to the door.

Sabina was very flattered; she slipped her hand in his arms when they walked through the door.

She really did think that after the terrible accident at the bar, the Young Sire would have nothing to do with her anymore. She admitted she acted terrible that night, but she was seduced by a random guy and drank a big amount of alcohol with him. Her intoxication messed up everything she ever dreamed off. She literally cried for weeks and purposely isolated herself from her circle, knowing how everyone will end up either mocked or laughed at her stupidity. But now, she proved them all wrong.

Judging from the Young Sire's advances toward her, she knew she had somehow captivated him. He asked her out again even though her popularity did abase a great deal after the incident. She even received flowers from him, which is the first in the Young sire's history of past dates. She can't wait to post it on her socials for the world to see how she had been favored greatly.

The couple was already outside and as soon as they reached the car, Sabina noticed Ziggy pulling at the backseat's door. Displeasure fell instantly in her face.

"I had a bodyguard with me. You don't mind sitting at the backseat don't you?" Ziggy asked.

"Was it because of the accident?" Sabina asked, the displeasure in her face turned into worry.

"Kinda. Don't worry; I'll make sure he wouldn't spoil the night" Ziggy a.s.sured her. He was raring frantically to open the door to see the looked on Sam's face.

When he was planning to get even with Sam, he remembered their conflict started out with Sabina and Sam won over him that night. So tonight which was the beginning of his revenge, he will start out on making Sabina realized how little Sam was compared to him. He was pretty sure Sabina will chose him over his bodyguard and so tonight he will slap that reality to Sam's face.

Let's see how she puts up her dignity in front of Sabina and him.

"It doesn't really matter with me if a body guard tags along" Sabina guaranteed him.

Ziggy let go of a big grin before opening the door and cowered down to meet Sam's gaze as he a.s.sisted Sabina to her seat.

"By the way Sabina, this is my- WHAT THE HECK!"
