383 Waggled

Aviona was afraid knowing that another escape attempt might cost her Ava's life but she had to take chances.  She tried to create a plan in her head, took courage and prayed hard. While she was still planning what to do, she caught of glimpse of her office and remembered something. She went there and took something before she looked through the fabricated stairs to check whatever was happening in the first floor, good thing Ava was fast asleep and so she created no sound aside from her slowly gentle snores.  When Aviona looked down, she saw the head maid running a list of groceries toward another kitchen maid.

"I need this immediately so hurry and buy this," The head maid instructed, totally oblivious of the fact that the house keys were gone and that Aviona was there listening. "I had instructed the driver to take you the nearest grocery store. Don't forget to call the security in the front gate so he won't hesitate to open the gate up for you,"

"Yes Ma'am," A young kitchen maid answered. It was the same kitchen maid that drove Clay away few months ago, back when Aviona and Martin's marriage was still okay.

The head maid went back to the kitchen leaving the kitchen maid in the hall who instantly dialled the phone to call the front gate's security.

"I'm going out with the driver so open the gate for us," The kitchen maid instructed from the other line. The security on the front gate knew her well as she probably was one of the oldest kitchen maids in the villa so they recognized her voice immediately and acknowledged her orders. She had already put the phone down when she noticed something metal like thing was being directed right through her head. It was a pistol Aviona took from her office and used as a weapon to frighten the maid.

"Dare to shout and I'll shoot you before anyone can catch me," Aviona told. She didn't want to do such but the situation left her with no choice. Right at the moment, she's willing to hurt anyone just to make sure Ava and her can get out of the villa.

The kitchen maid swallowed a fright. She had always been afraid with the Madam of the house, more so right now when she was pointing a weapon, ready to kill her. She only shook her head trying to communicate to Aviona that she will not shout and that she was willing to do whatever Aviona wanted.

With a swift observation, Aviona realized that the guards rarely comes inside the house and had been making rounds only outside so she confidently went down and threatened the kitchen maid as the chances of getting caught was low. She was aware that most of the maids are in the kitchen by then so no one can help the pitiful maid she held hostage. It had been long that Aviona was imprisoned in her own house and all the maids and guards probably thought it was totally impossible for her escape provided the double locked door so they put all their guards down that night.

In a swift five minutes, Aviona managed to drag the kitchen maid to the garage without being caught.  She tossed the maid in the front seat and took control of her car, maneuvered the car without letting go of the pistol she had.

"Madam please, do not hurt me," The kitchen maid begged for her life. Only the head maid knew of the fact that Aviona was sound and well that's why she was the one who personally take care of her while the rest of the household thought all the rumours about Aviona were true, that she was indeed severely depressed, capable of hurting anyone. With how Aviona treated her right then, she believed the thing.

"I don't have time to explain this to you but I had to do this for my daughter's sake," Aviona told her while she drove straight to the front gate. Because they were inside the car, not one of the guards noticed that Aviona was already escaping for they thought, the one inside the car was someone else, "I'm going to halt the car few meters from the gate. Look through the window and shout to guard that you are in a hurry so they can open the gate without checking who's with you,"

The kitchen maid hesitated but she had no choice because Aviona had a gun. As planned, Aviona halted few meters from the gate and saw that one of the securities opened the lock but did not pull the bars open for them to pa.s.s through.

As instructed, the kitchen maid showed herself through the car's window, waved and shouted. "I'm in a hurry, open the gates please!"

The head security heard her but he noticed something wrong with the kitchen maid's expression so he opted to check it. He did not give his subordinate a go signal to open the gate but instead, he went out of the guard house and approached the car. They had a strict protocol when it comes to who should come in and out of the Golden Villa and so he was merely following orders.
