37 Married? How?

Keme let out an awkward laugh, "We met and got along so well so quickly, one thing lead to another... and we were married." Remember the moment his lips slightly went upwards for a second but fell once more.

"Wait!" Tsuru demanded, "We need more details, you can't just say you got married and move on. It's not like I met your wife like I met Allon's."

Allon glared at her from the mirror at the reminder and went quiet, deciding it was better to not say anything that would lead him to regret things. Keme was smiling at how curious Tsuru was, "Alright I'll tell you a quick but small detail on how we met and got married." He hummed thinking where to start, "I met her a small time after getting a new body, it so happens to be I got the body of one of their toughest warriors, ladies went crazy over him. It was a bit of a nightmare at first but then I met her, she was crazy about him just like the rest but, I don't know I just clicked with her I guess.

I started seeing her more often and eventually, we got married. It was a terrible and chaotic marriage, to say the least, biggest mistake I made that century." He grumbled having a bad flashback of it I'm his head, "I'm glad it ended, to be honest."

Just when they thought Tsuru would just nod maybe even whistle awkwardly and move off from the subject she made one final question, "Any kids?" The question was like getting hit by a truck, even Keme found himself hitting the breaks on the car for a second before continuing his drive,

Keme scratched the back of his head and shook his head, "Not any that were mine." The thought making him grumble and murmur under his breath things neither of them should want to hear.

"Oh." Tsuru was quiet for a few seconds, she noticed how he seemed irritated by her questions, "We can talk about other things if you guys want that is."

Allon didn't waste a second on taking her word for it, letting out a breath of relief, "Since you insist. Let's talk about that therapist."

"Ugh." She grumbled and crossed her arms, even if they had explained she had nothing to worry she didn't like the subject.

"Don't worry." Keme told her before explaining, "I've already got someone, an old friend actually. She's a good therapist, Dr. Mia Rubio, the best of the best for you Tsuru. I'm sure she'll know what to do to help you." He tried to loosen up her stern thoughts on the therapist, "And if you don't like her, we'll get someone else."

Allon turned in his seat and looked at her, "Well have yoga and do meditation, it'll calm you down, release all that stress you're holding up. I'll be here every step of the way." He gave her a toothy grin, when she gave him one in return he turned back on his seat, noticing the scowl on Keme's face.

Allon waved his hand on a spot Tsuru couldn't see from the back to get his attention and ask what all the moped was about. As quickly as Keme noticed it he mouthed the word 'no'. Tsuru could feel something was off between them but kept quiet trying to spot what was off from her seat. The growing unsteadiness in the air getting to her.

"Something wrong between you two?" She sighed knowing neither would admit to whatever it had been.

"No." They said synchronized.

She couldn't help let out a laugh-filled with sarcasm, "Fine, don't tell me. How many planes will we take?"

Keme counted in his head, "Two maybe three, but hopefully just two. Eager?" He looked at her from the mirror seeing her gaze on him, their eyes meeting for a moment before he broke apart to continue the drive.

Tsuru nodded, "Yes. The first time going to a therapist after all... these last months have been my first time for many things. I hate having to admit that..." she inhaled softly thinking back on how many things had happed un so little time. Being a master after three hundred years, killing a master for once, getting her old body back... finding Keir... all in the span of months. All those mixed emotions and experiences in such little time.

"I get you." Allon spoke up between them, "You see so many things that you just don't know where to start. I really do hope, that when this is all over, all three of us can just go and experience things with you. See the world with those that understand what you've been through, just us three."

Tsuru found herself thinking about what he said. Maybe he had a point, maybe she had seen too many years like a living h.e.l.l. She couldn't imagine trying to look at the world through the eyes of someone who actually cared. Who wanted to experiment, to see what it could give, and forget about what it could take, "Maybe it could be nice."

Her words delighted Allon while they surprised Keme, the man she had told first hand how much she hated living. How much she believed this whole things was a curse, and how unbelievably it seemed that even her stubborn thoughts could change.
