Her body had been stolen! 

The demon hit her soul away when she was in turmoil over Di Hao and then took the opportunity to seize her body.

Nevertheless, since Gu Xijiu was a Great Deity, she could condense her soul into another solid body. When she was about to pinch a spell, the demon flicked her finger and a big hole suddenly appearing beside Gu Xijiu. This big hole had a strong suction force and sucked Gu Xijiu's soul into it.

The reason why she called it a transparent cell was that she could see everything in the desert from this cell. She seemed to have been separated from the desert by just a transparent film. She even found that she could also hear the demon speaking.

She could only watch the black water flowed past her chest to her neck and then reached her chin. It did not take long before her entire body was submerged in it.
