The moment he saw her, he wished he could just pull her into his arms and give her a tight hug. He needed to feel her presence after being worried for so long. However, he was also worried that his sudden gesture of affection would scare her away. Therefore, he decided to behave and stay by her side as a friend. He needed to take it slow.

Now that they were out of danger, he was eager to talk to her. He needed to know how her life had been. Before he could say anything, a noise interrupted him. "Brother Stone!"

'Brother Stone? What kind of name was that?' Perplexed, Di Fuyi looked up and saw a few men running anxiously down the hill. These men had their faces painted too, but their clothes were even messier. They ran at great speed. In the blink of an eye, these men were already circling them.

Di Fuyi could tell that they were only teenagers from their barely recognizable features. All of them were of age 17 or 18. They seemed like valiant fighters with strong and well-built bodies. Even their skin was nicely tanned.

They examined Di Fuyi unscrupulously, as his presence was apparently a complete misfit. "Eh, this man has very fair skin!"

Di Fuyi studied her expression seriously. She did not look like she was acting. Her eyes were unusually bright, partially due to the contrast with by the dark paint on her face. Apparently, she had lost her memory, so she could no longer recognize him.

Di Fuyi remained speechless for quite a while. However, Gu Xijiu was obviously a little impatient by his silence. He then said softly, "Xijiu, you should be able to recognize me. I am your fiancé."

It was Gu Xijiu's turn to be speechless! The men were offended, "Hey, what are you talking about? What do you mean by fiancé? Brother Stone is a man!"

"That is right! How could a man be engaged to another man? What a joke!"

"Has this man lost his mind after the battle?"

Di Fuyi had never felt so astonished in his life. 'A man? Had Gu Xijiu become a man?'
