When it came time for the tournament Gill felt more confident in his abilities.He was ready to win this.Just like before they randomly received a number and unfortunately for Gill he was going up against Rachet again and Rachet had won the last tournament.

Gill watched as the others fought until it was his turn and because Slader wanted to see Gill teach Gill a lesson about learning from his mistakes he made Gill enter top 2 without having to fight against anyone else.

When it was Gills turn to fight. Gill walked up confidently up to the stage he looked at Rachet and said I'm going to beat you up good. Rachet looked at him and said Good Luck.Gill scoffed at that reply and said we'll see.

Slader silence them and said we are here to see a fight not a debate. With that Slader announced the start of the match.

As soon as he said those words Gill threw a ball of fire at Rachet and Rachet blocked it with a Earth wall and said you haven't learned have you and just as hd said those words he was pulled out by Slader this was the shorts match in the whole tournament. This surprised everyone. It was after they saw a spear in the ground right were Rachet was that they understood if Slader hadn't pulled Rachet out of the match he would be dead by now.

Everyone looked at Gill with a terrified look they were all desperate to win but not desperate enough to try to kill one of their peers.

A feeling of happiness went inside Gill when he saw Rachet getting taken out by Slader. He already planned to go to Slader's room tonight so Slader could help him with his broken staff.

However all trace of happiness was erased from Gill whe Slader came over and said I know I told you guys to do anything it takes to win but trying to kill one of your peers is not what I meant for now there is no winner so you two will fight in two weeks so we can get a winner and even if you win that match I will not help you with your staff because anyone that would want to kill his own peer without a doubt doesn't deserve a mystic weapon.

Later that night Gill couldn't sleep thinking about how he wouldn't be able to get his staff so he decided to ask the other dukes and if that didn't work then he would take matters into his own hands.
