CHAPTER 65

Finding another place to rest, I slept, before I continued on my journey of wanting to save Talon. Having somewhat completely forgotten, because of my skirmish and curious nature of wanting to learn more about that man, I had to remember some things that Matthew had told me, to get me back on my determined path!

Already agreeing to a method that I was so excited about previously, I put my hair up differently, like that of a male of this era, and used the new method that I’ve tried lately. Haha…I used my ‘Bending s.p.a.ce’ meditation, to make my b.r.e.a.s.t.s smaller and enhanced my stomach muscles.

Already wearing male clothing, I smiled cheekily.

I changed a few other small aspects of my body, to look more male, or less feminine, mostly enhancing my muscles a bit. And while I did that, I wondered what I could use as a name, for when I became this ‘young master’.

What I came to discover, as I was trying to think of names, was that there wasn’t much else that I could change with my body…I couldn’t ‘develop’ an Adam’s Apple, or…Any other male body…Things, either…Yes, I did try, for the sake of trying…Haha!

Really…My curiosity is my worst flaw!

Yet, without my knowledge, my curiosity was also one of my greatest feats…If I hadn’t wondered about ‘storage’ or making things bigger or smaller, I wouldn’t be able to do as much as I could now.

It looked like my ‘Bending s.p.a.ce’ meditation didn’t change genders…Or if it did, maybe it would later, when I ‘dinged’ again.

Nonetheless, I wasn’t upset…If it couldn’t do it, then it couldn’t do it!

Besides, I was a female and honestly preferred to do as the other’s ‘females’ did in books. Just to dress up and pretend, would be enough!

Finding out this news, didn’t hinder my enthusiasm whatsoever!

This is so awesome! Much better than reading about it! Haha, will they recognize me!? I always wondered how the main characters got away with it…But I’ve done enough right? Will I really come across as male?

I seemed to be that excited, that I had forgotten about my face. I’d also didn’t even think to look into a mirror, as I looked at my arms and chest muscles.

Not having a mirror on hand, anyway, I grabbed some dirt from the ground and rubbed a little over my face. I wasn’t going to represent some kind of n.o.ble young master…This time…

This time…I was going to…Well, I have a plan, but I’m ganna have fun doin it! Haha!

Until I fulfil this plan of mine, I didn’t want to show myself as a young master look yet…

Actually, my plan included things that would most likely end people’s lives…So, I had to come across more like an a.s.sa.s.sin or something. You know, dress for the part…

Feeling a little down, because I don’t have the waist strap to add my sword, I had to shrug and continue on without it…

Knowing that I was going to go back to the capital, I really wanted to pay back all the ‘shop’ owners that I had taken things from, before I left.

Casually I walked into a place that seemed like a ‘bank’.

Looking around, I saw an old plaque, that was on the wall, that might look like something that held information.

Except, now it looked more like an historical artefact…It was hard to read and had definitely seen better days!

As I saw a few things on there, it suddenly reminded me of spirit stones that was used in cultivation stories, so, I got fascinated as I tried to read it.

“May we help the young master?”

I was startled and jumped at the voice. “Yeah.”

OmiG.o.d…My voice!

I coughed and tried to deepen my voice a bit more, “Yes.”

“…What is the young master looking for?”

“Ah…I want to borrow and then pay back later.” I said, giving it a shot.

OmiG.o.d, my voice!

It didn’t sound natural at all! I’ll have to work on it!

Trying to pay attention again, I began to think that I had only ever seen silver bars, that ranged in sizes here. I hadn’t seen one note!

I had already had a feeling that money here, was different to that on Earth. But I hadn’t really looked into it…I smacked the lazy side of me, knowing it would have been a lot easier if I had found out earlier!

The man shook his head at me, “This, we cannot do, young master…”
