Tang Yuhan calls his a.s.sistant and slams at the steering frustrated "Why isn't he picking up my call?!".

Tang Xi asks "Shall I call Cheng?".

Yuhan grunts "No!".

Su Ran claps her hands excitedly "Yes!".

Yuhan ".." d.a.m.n girl! Do you wanna die?! How dare you look down on me?!.

Su Ran turns away feeling his murder intent stare and closes her lips tight. 'I wish Mr.Lu comes for our rescue! This merciless boss would definitely kill me! Instead of saving ourselves he is clinging to his stupid ego? Why don'the call Mr.Lu? Its about his wife's life too after all?!'.

Tang Xi looks back nervously "Yuhan it's not time to show your ego-".

Yuhan scoffs "Don't panic. I will drop you in your place. You will be safe there".

Tang Xi frowns "You will leave me?!".

Yuhan nods still not reducing the speed "In Lu Residence. It safe there. I will meet you once I handle this".

Tang Xi doesn't know why is she feeling uncomfortable but she hides her anxiety as the series of situations made her to used to this kind of situations. She doesn't feel scared anymore..She tells just nervous and anxiety! Nothing more.

Or what..if something dangerous happens for first time Tang Xi would have been terrified. But this kind of situations keep on happening ever since she came back to City A.

So this time her only worry is about Yuhan. She knows he would take care of her.

But hearing him saying that he would leave her in Lu Residence and going alone to face those bad guys, she couldn't bear sending him alone even though he is The Great Knight.

She asks "Can you...stay back? I don't think its a good idea for you to go..alone".

Tang Xi stops talking and looks at her mobile. 'Private number?'.

Yuhan is so immersed in driving, Tang Xi attends the call slowly "h.e.l.lo?". She is still worried about sending Yuhan alone.

"I hope you have been well".

A deep male voice with not at all a single pinch of warmness in its tone made Tang Xi startle for a sec.

She frowns and looks at Tang Yuhan who was driving seriously. She asks "May I know who is this?".

"Ha ha Sure! You deserve to know me. After all you should know whom you are messing with".

Hearing the ridiculing tone, Tang Xi gets irritated "Excuse me?". 'Now who the h.e.l.l is this man?! Why in the world everyone is after me?!'.

The man speaks "I will meet you soon. Once we meet, I will make sure you remember me throughout your life. You know what? I actually want you reach me soon. If you do so, things would get too easy for your husband".

Tang Xi is about to rebuke but call is ended. She gets thinking 'Reach him soon? What does he mean?'.

"Who is it?" Tang Yuhan already noticed Tang Xi while she was talking but seeing her thinking he too finds it odd.

Tang Xi rubs her forehead "I don't know why every crazy things happens only to me...".

Su Ran laughs suddenly "You are not alone mam! You actually told what I was just thinking the whole time".

Tang Yuhan asks completely ignoring Su Ran "Who was it?".

Tang Xi shakes her head "I don't know. But he didn't sound good-". She recalls something and says "I will ask Bran about this. He might help us-".

Tang Yuhan shrugs looking at the rear mirror "Ask him to tighten the security of just Lu Residence for now".

Tang Xi nods and calls Bran. She mumbles "Why is it not connecting?" and dials back.

Tang Yuhan gets thinking and asks calmly "Can't reach him?".

Tang Xi shakes her head "May be ..some issues with network".

Tang Yuhan frowns and takes a u-turn suddenly.

Su Ran and Tang Xi gets startled and Tang Xi asks "What happened?!". She looks at the way and asks "Where...are we going?".

Tang Yuhan says "Lu Residence is not safe anymore!".

WHAT?!

Tang Xi and Yuhan looks at Su Ran who screamed suddenly.

Tang Xi pats Su Ran's shoulder and asks Yuhan "What do you mean?".

Tang Yuhan grits his teeth and says "They must have been planning this for a long time. They used Lu Cheng's absence to kill you".

Tang Xi says "But..there has been someone to follow me..always..Cheng has arranged everything for my safety-".

Tang Yuhan snorts "Oh really?! If he did so how the bomb was planted in your car?!".

Tang Xi gets thinking.

Yuhan says calmly "Li clan is powerful in the city next to Lu clan. So its obvious they are using this chance to hit Lu Cheng emotionally".

Tang Xi frowns sternly and rubs her face "Alright! What should we do now?".

Yuhan declares "I will tell you once we reach there. Get some sleep".

Tang Xi "...". Sleep?!

Su Ran almost laughed hearing his last sentence but hides her smile. She looks at him in a daze 'He seems too good sometimes. But has a devil in him. A devil with a heart, which only works for his sister....'.

She smiles faintly and looks away shaking her head. 'He would love someone for real only in my craziest dreams! Such a nerd! But....How his love life would be like?'.

She gets stunned for a second and gets back to reality. She takes a deep breath and looks at him for a last time before closing her eyes.

Tang Xi is looking at her mobile and after a minute of hesitation she calls Lu Cheng. She gets glad that her call is connected and waits for him to pick the call.

After a minute of ringing, the call is still not answered. She gets sad 'Where are you?'.

She recalls his last last words before going 'Feel my presence in my absence....'.

She blushes closing her eyes 'He knew it! He knew that...I will... miss him'.

She caresses her cheek where he kissed her before and smiles 'I wonder what would you do when you get back..You will instantly go mad, won't you?'.
